CM Punk Punches His Ticket to SummerSlam to Challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship
Before the main event of the July 14th Raw could start, Gunther made his way to the ring and proudly boasted about putting an end to Goldberg's legendary career. With a sharp grin, he declared that the Hall of Famer is now finished for good.
The World Champion went on to say that the top stars of Raw would now battle each other, purely for his amusement, to earn a shot at his championship. Paul Heyman interrupted and walked down the ramp with Bron Breakker at his side.
Grabbing a mic, Heyman warned Gunther about Breakker's inhuman strength. He then confidently announced that Breakker would run through every obstacle in his path and claim the title at SummerSlam.
With tensions running high, the gauntlet match kicked off immediately, with Breakker squaring off against his first opponent, Penta. Interestingly, Gunther is seated in the nosebleeds to watch the action.
Bron Breakker vs. Penta vs.
LA Knight
vs.
Jey Uso
vs.
CM Punk
Breakker started strong with a t-bone suplex, followed by shoulder thrusts in the corner and a huge lariat. As Penta rolled to the outside, he came flying back with a tope con giro. Bron stayed aggressive. However, Penta managed to hang him up on the top rope and hit a handstand double stomp, followed by a lungblower, but Breakker powered out.

He then caught Penta mid-springboard and ended it with a thunderous spear for the pin.
He then eliminated the Mexican with a pinfall.
Next up is LA Knight. He took the fight to Breakker early with a neckbreaker and some brutal arm work around the ring post. Knight even sent Bron to the floor with a wrecking ball dropkick. However, Breakker turned things around by slamming Knight face-first into the announce desk. After some back-and-forth, Knight went for the BFT, but Bron raked the eyes and hit a fireman's carry gutbuster before finishing him off with a spear for the elimination.
Jey Uso entered next and exploded with offense, suicide dives, superkicks, and an Ode to Rikishi. After surviving an Avalanche Frankensteiner, Jey nearly had it won with a spear of his own. But just as he climbed up top, Bronson Reed interfered, injuring Jey's arm. That gave Bron the opening he needed to hit another spear and eliminate Uso.
CM Punk was the final entrant, and he came in fired up, hitting knee strikes, a bulldog, and clearing the ring.
Breakker answered back with power moves and mocked Punk before hitting a suplex and an Avalanche Frankensteiner. Punk rallied with a swinging neckbreaker and nearly won it with the Anaconda Vise, but Reed interfered again.
Just as things looked bleak, Uso returned to even the odds, taking out Reed. That distraction gave Punk the opening to catch Breakker with a fireman's carry and deliver the Go to Sleep for the win. CM Punk wins the gauntlet, last eliminating Breakker by pinfall, and becomes the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship.
'The Best in the World' will now face Gunther at SummerSlam for gold.
And to the fans' delight, Roman Reigns also made his grand return to the WWE and saved a battered Punk and Uso from Seth Rollins' henchmen. This will probably set up a tag team match at SummerSlam with Breakker and Reed facing Uso and 'The OTC'. For the unversed, this was Reigns' first TV appearance after being taken out by Breakker on the Raw after WrestleMania 41.

Everything you need to know about English slang: Tips to communicate like a native, not a learner
One of the biggest frustrations for English learners is never quite crossing the bridge from 'learner' to 'native'. No matter how fluent or confident you become, speaking English like you've grown up with it can still feel like a challenge. It's not just about vocabulary; it's about mastering the accent, tone, and rhythm of the language. If you've ever felt annoyed by not speaking in a way that makes it hard for others to distinguish you from a native speaker, slang could be your secret weapon. Slang shows you truly understand the culture, the vibe, and how people speak casually. Here's how to perfect it without sounding forced. Get the context right Slang isn't universal. What sounds brilliant in London might get blank stares in Los Angeles, and what teenagers say can make older folks cringe. Getting context right makes all the difference. Regional quirks pop up everywhere. Americans might ask for a "soda" whilst Brits want "fizzy drinks." In the US, you'll hear "chips" for what Brits call "crisps." Age groups have their own languages too - what sounds natural from a 20-year-old might seem forced coming from someone in their 50s. Social situations change everything as well. Office chat needs different slang than hanging out with mates at the pub. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 15 most beautiful women in the world Undo Reading the room helps you choose the right words for the moment. Knowing some essential slangs is important for your vocabulary Some expressions crop up constantly in casual conversation. "Lit" means something's awesome or exciting - "That concert was absolutely lit!" When someone's "flexing," they're showing off, usually about money or achievements. "Vibe" describes the general feeling of a place or situation. You might say "This café has such a chill vibe" or "I'm not feeling the vibe here." If you're "broke," your wallet's empty. "Fam" refers to close friends or actual family - "Going out with the fam tonight." "Savage" describes someone who's brutally honest or impressively bold. A particularly cutting comeback might be called "savage." Slangs can give your speech the emotional punch Native speakers use slang to express feelings that formal language can't quite capture. It makes conversations more colourful and engaging. "I'm dead" doesn't mean you've stopped breathing - it means you're laughing so hard you can barely function. "No cap" means you're telling the absolute truth, no exaggeration. "Low-key" and "high-key" are opposites that show intensity levels. "I'm low-key nervous about the interview" suggests subtle worry, whilst "I'm high-key obsessed with this show" means you're completely hooked and not hiding it. Acronyms are everywhere Modern slang loves abbreviations. They make chat faster and more casual. "Tbh" stands for "to be honest" and appears everywhere - "Tbh, I didn't enjoy that film much." "Idk" means "I don't know" and saves time in texts and speech. "FOMO" - fear of missing out - describes that nagging feeling when everyone else seems to be having more fun than you. Phrasal verbs unlock natural-sounding speech These combinations of verbs and prepositions create new meanings that often sound more relaxed than formal alternatives. "Pick up" can mean learning something new - "I picked up some Spanish whilst travelling." "Hang out" means spending casual time together - much more natural than "socialise." "Chill out" tells someone to relax or calm down. "Give up" means quit or surrender, but sounds less dramatic than those alternatives. Tone matters as much as vocabulary How you say slang matters as much as what you say. "That's sick!" with excitement means something's brilliant. The same phrase said flatly might suggest disgust or sarcasm. Your voice carries the real meaning. Practice expressing enthusiasm, sarcasm, surprise and other emotions through your tone. Native speakers will immediately notice if your slang doesn't match your delivery. Know when to dial it down Nothing screams "trying too hard" like cramming every slang term into one conversation. Native speakers will spot forced usage instantly. Use slang naturally, when it fits the moment and your personality. Balance is key. Mix slang with regular vocabulary. Let it enhance your speech, not dominate it. Social media and entertainment can be your guide Films, TV shows and online content showcase slang in action. Shows like Friends, The Office or Brooklyn Nine-Nine demonstrate casual conversation perfectly. YouTubers and podcasters often speak naturally, giving you real examples of how slang works in context. Social media, especially TikTok and Twitter, spawns new slang constantly. Following trends helps you stay current, but don't feel pressure to use every new term that appears. Practice with natives Nothing beats chatting with native speakers. Certain apps help you connect you with English speakers wanting language exchange. Real conversations let you test slang, get feedback, and hear natural usage. Pay attention to how natives respond to your slang. If they seem confused or surprised, you might be using something incorrectly or in the wrong context. Sounding native doesn't mean letting go of your authenticity Don't try to be someone you're not just to sound native. Use slang that suits your personality and speaking style. Some people naturally use more casual language, others prefer staying slightly formal even in relaxed settings. The goal isn't copying someone else's speech patterns exactly - it's making English feel like your own language whilst understanding how natives actually communicate. Keep up with what's changing Slang never stops changing. Terms that were popular last year might already sound dated. Social media drives much of this evolution, with new expressions spreading globally in days. Stay curious about language changes, but don't stress about using every new term immediately. Focus on understanding common expressions first, then gradually add trending slang as you encounter it naturally. Mastering slang takes time and practice, but it's one of the most rewarding parts of language learning. It opens doors to deeper connections with native speakers and makes English feel less like a foreign language and more like a natural extension of who you are. Ready to navigate global policies? Ajay Devgn says he's muted his family group with Kajol and his kids because 'itni zyada bakwas chalti hai'; reveals Nysa plans family trips
Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the release of 'Son Of Sardaar 2' and at the moment he is promoting the film. On personal front, Ajay has been married to Kajol for around 26 years and have two kids — Nysa and Yug. Kajol and Ajay also serve goals for how real they are every time they are seen together and their fun banter as they are so different from each other, is quite endearing. In a recent appearance on Archana Puran Singh's YouTube channel while promoting his upcoming film, Ajay opened up on his family dynamics. When asked if he's ever tempted to mute his family's group messages, Ajay didn't hesitate. 'I don't respond to it,' he said, admitting that the group chat stays on mute. 'Itni zyada bakwas chalti hai na aapas mein (There is so much nonsense going on) between the kids and all. I'm not there. No one waits for my response, and no one texts me.' Archana, amused, asked whether Kajol ever reprimands him for ignoring the group. But Ajay clarified that wasn't the case, and added with a grin that only the group chat is muted—his phone is always accessible. When Archana probed further—'How does Kajol get in touch if it's urgent? Does she speak to your manager?'—Ajay immediately assured, 'My phone is always available, just the group chat is muted.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Dark spots make 40s women look older. Ajay revealed that daughter Nysa is the one orchestrating holiday plans, while son Yug would rather stay home. 'Yug is very chill. Voh bolta hai mujhe ghar se nahi nikalna (He says I don't want to go out). He is like, 'why are you wasting money? Why are you traveling?' He is exactly like me. On most of the holidays, Kajol and Nysa are doing everything and we are chilling. ' Recently, Kajol offered a funny yet insightful take on what has kept their relationship strong: 'I say this quite often that the secret to happy marriage is partial deafness and selective amnesia. You really need to forget certain things about your partner and sometimes unhearing things they said. It is very important.' She further explained their dynamic with characteristic wit and said, 'Ajay and I are completely different otherwise hum logo ko itne saal nahi lagte (it wouldn't have taken us so long), we would have separated long before.'
