At least six men can be seen grabbing his arms and legs while others unleash a barrage of kicks to his body as he pleads: 'I'll pay in cash. I swear. I'll come pay in cash.'
The 26-year-old solo traveller was reportedly charged an inflated 20,000 baht - around £460 - for drinks at the Diamond Karaoke Bar on Wednesday night.
But when he refused to pay and tried to leave, bar workers chased him outside and launched into the brutal attack.
Thai cops confirmed that nine staff members have been arrested in connection with the brawl, which was caught on camera and shared widely online.

Colonel Pratchaya Thisala, from the local Black Hawk police unit, said: "The British tourist was travelling alone.
"According to the initial medical examination, he only sustained minor injuries and nothing was broken.
"There is a lot of witness testimony and evidence. The security camera footage shows that an argument started inside the bar.
He added: "The foreigner wanted to return to his accommodation first and suggested they talk again later, but the other party didn't agree. The altercation then escalated outside the bar. At the time, the foreigner was also intoxicated."

Those arrested are aged between 18 and 28, with one of them having reportedly turned himself in.

They now face charges of assault, operating an unlicensed entertainment venue, and selling alcohol past legal hours.
Locals said the bar had been operating for only two months under new management, after the previous owner had sold the business.
Police were known to make frequent visits to the establishment over recurring arguments between staff and patrons, often over allegedly inflated bills.

Most of the customers were tourists, usually dropped off by hired drivers or vans who were reportedly paid with commissions by the bar.

The 30-year-old was lambasted by hordes of Springboks supporters and South African media following an altercation with centre Damian de Allende. In fact, some even called for Itoje's suspension after he was seen on camera kneeling on De Allende's chest, shoulder and neck area. This incident occurred during the second Test in Cape Town, which South Africa clinched 27-9, levelling the series ahead of the final match. Trump files $10bn lawsuit against Wall Street Journal and Rupert Murdoch over Epstein report
US PRESIDENT DONALD Trump filed a lawsuit yesterday against The Wall Street Journal and media mogul Rupert Murdoch, a day after the newspaper published a story reporting on ties to wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein. The lawsuit was filed in federal court in Miami. It seeks at least 10 billion dollars (€8.6 billion) in damages. Trump promised a lawsuit after the newspaper described a sexually suggestive letter that the newspaper says bore Trump's name and was included in a 2003 album for Epstein's 50th birthday. The president denied writing the letter, calling the story 'false, malicious, and defamatory'. The letter was reportedly collected by disgraced British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell as part of a birthday album for Epstein years before he was first arrested in 2006 and subsequently had a falling-out with Trump. The letter bearing Trump's name includes text framed by the outline of what appears to be a hand-drawn naked woman and ends with, 'Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret,' according to the newspaper. The outlet described the contents of the letter but did not publish a photo showing it entirely or provide details on how it came to learn about it. Wall Street Journal owner Dow Jones said it will 'vigorously defend' against legal action. 'We have full confidence in the rigor and accuracy of our reporting, and will vigorously defend against any lawsuit,' a Dow Jones spokesperson said in a statement hours after Trump filed a suit seeking damages from the newspaper and its owner, media magnate Rupert Murdoch. The Justice Department's announcement that it would not be making public any more Epstein files enraged parts of Trump's base , in part because members of his own administration had hyped the expected release and stoked conspiracies around the well-connected financier. The Justice Department said in the court filings that it will work with prosecutors in New York to make appropriate redactions of victim-related information and other personally identifying information before transcripts are released. 'Transparency in this process will not be at the expense of our obligation under the law to protect victims,' Blanche wrote. But despite the new push to release the grand jury transcripts, the administration has not announced plans to reverse course and release other evidence in its possession. Attorney general Pam Bondi had hyped the release of additional materials after the initial Epstein files disclosure in February sparked outrage because it contained no new revelations. A judge would have to approve the release of the grand jury transcripts, and it is likely to be a lengthy process to decide what can become public and to make redactions to protect sensitive witness and victim information. The records would show testimony from witnesses and other evidence presented by the prosecution during the secret grand jury proceedings, when a panel decides whether there is enough evidence to bring an indictment, or a formal criminal charge.
