Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G gets certified on its way to release

GSM Arena15 hours ago
Redmi's upcoming Note 15 line is expected to comprise a lot of models, and there will still be 4G-only variants of some of them, in case you've been wondering.
At least the Redmi Note 15 Pro is getting a 4G-only iteration, as revealed today through its EEC certification. If the Pro model gets a 4G-only option, we assume the lower-end choices will too.
Based on an earlier rumor, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G is expected to be sold in Türkiye, Indonesia, and Russia. It will have the model number 25100RA69G.
Unfortunately, none of its specs have been revealed through this particular certification process. The Redmi Note 14 family went official in China last September, and then made its global debut in January. It's unclear if Redmi will keep a similar launch timeframe this time around, but we'll definitely let you know when we find out more.

Can you, however, guess which was the fastest-growing smartphone brand in the world in Q2 (April, May, June) of 2025?Is it Samsung? Is it Apple? Is it some exotic company from the Far East – you know, one that spoils customers with 100W+ charging speeds?Nothing of the sort (pun intended) – it's Nothing! These are the findings from the recently-released Canalys Q2 2025 report, which we reported on a few days results are impressive: 177% growth on a year-on-year basis, and there were over a million quarterly phone shipments for the first time in the company's history. Could it be because the company has focused on India, which is becoming an extremely important market for handset manufacturers? Certainly: the report notes that Nothing's investments in India are paying you know, Nothing recently released (on July 1, 2025) the Nothing Phone (3) – which is easily the weirdest flagship right now, and that's a good thing. Clearly, this one didn't affect the Q2 results (as the Phone (3) wasn't a thing until July), but it will be interesting to see if it's a hit in Q3 and Q4 of phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a 4nm chip that sits just below the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 . While not top-tier, it's a big step up from the Phone (2)'s 8+ Gen 1. All four sensors are 50MP: a main 1/1.3" shooter with an f/1.68 lens, a periscope zoom with up to 60x AI zoom and 10cm macro, a potent ultrawide, and a front-facing camera capable of 4K video. It's a major upgrade that positions the Phone (3) beyond style-focused 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED display delivers 1.5K resolution and peaks at 4,500 nits brightness. The Pixel 9 once again enjoying a tempting $200 discount at Amazon

Amazon is feeling especially generous toward some Pixel phones right now, and the latest promo we're bringing to your attention is this superb $200 discount on the Pixel 9. That brings all 128GB variants just under the $600 mark, which is a solid drop from their original ~$800 asking price. $200 off (25%) Amazon is once again giving you a big Pixel 9 discount that makes the smartphone way more attractive. Right now, you can get the device for $200 off in both 128GB and 256GB variants, making it way more affordable than usual. Get yours and save big while it lasts. Buy at Amazon Sure, we've come across bigger discounts in the past, including a massive $250 discount during last month's Prime Day. Nevertheless, this one is still worth checking out, as it brings a fantastic compact phone at a much more affordable price. In our Pixel 9 review, we've emphasized just how good the display looks. Its 6.3-inch OLED touchscreen offers impressive visuals, gets incredibly bright, and supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. What more could you need? It's not just the screen that looks gorgeous, though. This handset has a premium design, and its stock Android interface is a joy to use. What about performance? The Google phone comes with a Tensor G4 chip under the hood. That makes it a bit faster than the Pixel 8, but it still lags behind models like the Galaxy S24. Even though it might not crush the benchmark tests, the Pixel 9 delivers a smooth daily performance. You won't notice any hiccups or lag that may hinder your experience, which is always a plus. The Tensor G4 SoC also unlocks all the lovely AI features that elevate your experience even further. The Android phone is a winner on the camera front as well. It features two cameras on the back: a 50MP main and a 48MP ultra-wide, plus a 10.5MP selfie sensor. Expect photos with excellent detail, lifelike colors, and great dynamic range — more than good enough for its current asking price. At the end of the day, the Pixel 9 might have been cheaper in the past, but it's well worth it at $200 off. Keep in mind that some colors might not stay at that discount for a short while, so you might want to jump on it before it vanishes.

Infinix shares even more of the GT 30's specs ahead of the official unveiling

Vlad, 05 August 2025 Infinix launched the GT 30 Pro back in May, and will fully unveil the GT 30 on August 8. Ahead of that, the brand has already revealed a bunch of the phone's specs a few days ago, and now it's back with even more details. The GT 30 has a 5,500 mAh battery, which supports bypass charging - so if you plug it in you can use the phone without constantly depleting and recharging the battery. Infinix promises you'll be able to get more than 20 hours of YouTube video watching and more than 12 hours of using Google Maps on one charge. The phone has a 64 MP main camera which uses Sony's IMX682 sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 13 MP selfie snapper. There's also an x-axis linear vibration motor for "immersive haptics", a 3D vapor chamber for cooling, a six-axis gyroscope, dual speakers, a walkie-talkie feature which lets you make calls via Bluetooth when there's no network, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Infinix promises it will deliver two major OS updates to the GT 30, as well as three years of security patches. Previously confirmed specs include a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with "1.5K" resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 4,500-nit peak brightness, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and Gorilla Glass 7i on top. The phone is powered by the Dimensity 7400 SoC by MediaTek, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It has customizable trigger buttons for gaming and is promised to support 90fps gameplay in BGMI. It will launch running Android 15 with XOS 15 on top. It will be offered in India in Pulse Green, Cyber Blue, and Blade White.
