EA FC 25 Season 8 Season Pass – confirmed release date and Premium Pass rewards
EA Sports has confirmed the new set of rewards coming in the EA FC 25 Season 8 Season Pass, with incredible Shapeshifters players, Evolutions, and packs all available to earn.
It was confirmed pre-launch that EA Sports would be releasing a paid Season Pass in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, and we saw this finally go live during Season 7: Team of the Season, where for 500k Coins or 1,000 FC Points, players could earn boosted Ultimate Team rewards, including a 96-rated Icon Franck Ribery and other 95-rated player items. Reasonably priced, the Season 7 Premium Pass was a hit with the Ultimate Team community, and EA has now confirmed a Premium Pass will be released once again for Season 8: Shapeshifters.
As part of the latest set of patch notes for EA FC 25's Season Finale update, EA revealed the EA FC 25 Season 8 Objective rewards for the Premium Pass, and it looks incredible. There will also be a free Standard Season Pass released as always, but these rewards will be revealed once Season 8 begins in Ultimate Team.

EA FC 25 Season 8 Season Pass release date
The EA FC 25 Season 8 Season Pass, both the standard and the paid Premium Pass, will go live in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team on Thursday, June 5 at 12am PDT / 3am EDT / 8am BST, putting an end to Season 7, which lasted six weeks. The Premium Pass only has 35 levels instead of 40, meaning we could be getting a shorter season than usual, so we expect that Season 8 will conclude in five weeks rather than six, ending on Thursday, July 10 at 12am PDT / 3am EDT / 8am BST.

Here's a complete list of the EA FC 25 Season 8: Shapeshifters rewards for the Premium Pass. If it's the same as Season 7, the Premium Pass will cost players either 500k Coins or 1,000 FC Points, and you can redeem the Premium Pass whenever you like, no matter how much SP you've already gained.
The majority of rewards you earn from the Premium Pass will also be tradable, so you can list whatever you earn on the transfer market. The rewards for the Standard Season Pass have not been revealed yet, but we will include them when we know them!

Battlefield 6 beta rushes to fix its least-loved mode as players complain about unfair bomb timers
Battlefield 6 is currently in the midst of its second beta, and EA has already made a change to the game in order to fix one of its least-loved modes, Rush Battlefield 6 is currently undergoing extensive beta testing, but the game's team isn't waiting until the end to make necessary adjustments. They've already swooped in to rectify one of the least popular modes. EA has plunged players into its second Battlefield 6 beta of shooter action, and so far, it's proving that the game could potentially restore the series' tarnished reputation. Despite a rocky start with Battlefield 2042, this round of Battlefield 6 betas has been an impressive display of what feels like a genuine new-gen shooter. This comes as welcome news for shooter fans who are growing restless waiting for Black Ops 7, announced during this year's summer showcase season, following the release of Black Ops 6 Season 5. However, some players seem to forget that the purpose of this beta is to ensure that the final game is market-ready, with any issues identified during the beta being resolved. Even as players scramble to spend as much time in-game as possible, there's still work to be done. And it appears that Battlefield 6 is already implementing some fixes to enhance the player experience. Rushing to the rescue Battlefield 6 hasn't wasted any time making changes to the hugely popular second beta that's currently live. As players voice their complaints about its Rush mode, EA has stepped in to adjust its timers. The Battlefield 6 Rush mode, which requires an attacking team to set a bomb and defend it until detonation, while the defending team tries to prevent this, has been criticised for being unbalanced. With a 45-second gap between planting and exploding, defenders seemed to have a significant advantage. However, Battlefield has now intervened, announcing on Twitter that they've reduced the MCOM timer from 45 seconds to 30 in the Rush mode. Although it's a minor adjustment, it could potentially enhance the gaming experience in a mode that players currently don't seem too enthusiastic about. Such tweaks are typical during these beta stages, but this swift response means fans can actually enjoy the mode, rather than just flocking to favourites like Conquest and Breakthrough. Battlefield 6 second beta has more bugs than the first one say fans
EA has acknowledged there are certain problems with Battlefield 6's second beta, with some claiming it's buggier than the first one. While it's still too early to gauge Battlefield 6's success, especially since the game's not due until October and is competing against Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, first impressions have been overall positive. The first open beta, in particular, was a huge hit, attracting more players than Call Of Duty. While the initial beta wrapped up this past weekend, a second one has already begun and includes a new map and gameplay modes to warrant a revisit. Unfortunately, this second beta risks losing some of the goodwill the first one created, since there are reports of players encountering multiple issues, both on PC and consoles. EA has acknowledged the beta is suffering from matchmaking problems at the moment, and is promising to have these resolved ASAP, according to the official Battlefield Reddit account. 'The team is aware of ongoing matchmaking issues for some of our players when attempting to matchmake on playlists. We're actively investigating this and working towards a solve as soon as possible,' it reads. There are also reports of DLSS and DLAA not working either, but EA believes it's figured out what's causing this and should have it resolved later today. If you missed the first beta and fancy playing the second one, doing so is very simple. It's freely available to download via Steam, the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox store with no code or special access required. Just go to the online stores and search for Battlefield 6, and you'll find it available to download, as if it was an ordinary free-to-play game. The easier access is obvious a benefit, but it sounds like the beta has more issues besides matchmaking not working properly. A quick look through the Battlefield 6 subreddit brings up multiple threads from players suffering from crashes or struggling to get the beta working in the first place. It's already claimed that it's buggier than the first beta, with a handful of players reporting instances of losing health when switching classes and instantly dying with nothing to indicate they were even hit. More Trending If the current player numbers on Steam are anything to go by, though, these issues may not be too widespread. At the time of writing, there are roughly 367,000 people playing the beta according to SteamDB. Those numbers aren't as high as the 500,000+ it enjoyed last weekend, but it's not too significant of a drop and can be justified by it being a Thursday afternoon (or morning from a US perspective). So, things will likely jump up once the weekend hits. Hopefully, there won't be as many cheaters plaguing the beta this week either. It wasn't a good look for EA considering it's implementing brand new anti-cheat software. That said, those instances have ideally helped improve the software, with EA claiming it has successfully prevented at least 330,000 cheating attempts.
