Jennifer Aniston's new boyfriend Jim Curtis opens up on 'joy and love'
The Friends actress is reportedly dating the 49-year-old hypnotist, and they were pictured together earlier this month while on vacation in Mallorca, Spain with her close friend Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka.
In his most recent newsletter, Jim didn't mention Jennifer, 56, by name, but wrote: "I am back from vacation and what an experience!
"When I was sick, sad, stuck and in pain, I never thought I would have the abundance, joy and love I now experience on a daily basis.
"'I just took one step, made one decision and the next followed — now I look back and realise, oh! That course, that life change, that pain, resulted in this magic.'
In an Instagram video, he also reflected on realising he is "lovable".
He told his followers: "Repeat after me, 'Love comes easily to me because I am love, I am loving, and I am lovable.' '
And he wrote in the caption: 'What if you knew, without a doubt, that you were lovable? How would your life change? What would you be able to attract?
"Try journaling for 15 minutes on these questions after repeating this mantra out loud. Affirmations for self-love, love and abundance.'
It was recently reported that the couple have been set up by "mutual friends", but they are keen to keep their romance "super private".
A source told Us Weekly magazine: 'They are being super private but have been spending a lot of time together. They are happy and really into each other.'
The couple are said to have 'started off as friends but really hit it off' over time.
The source added: 'They've been hanging out a lot, but very much on the DL at her home in LA. It's very Zen, and she has always been very much into that. They're a good match.'
Although the pair have kept their romance out of the spotlight until now, they have been supporting one another on social media.
Jennifer has liked most of the life coach's Instagram posts over the last few months, including a video posted last week about recovering from a "divorce, break-up or difficult romance", and Jim liked her 25 May photo dump, which included a copy of his 2024 book Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide.

Colbert is latest casualty of late-night TV's fade-out
Late-night television had been fighting for its survival even before The Late Show with Stephen Colbert was cancelled last week. The announced end of one of the most popular broadcast late-night shows, days after host Stephen Colbert accused the network owner of bribing President Donald Trump to approve a merger, drew cries of political foul play from liberal politicians, artists and entertainers. "Stephen Colbert, an extraordinary talent and the most popular late-night host, slams the deal. Days later, he's fired. Do I think this is a coincidence? NO," Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, an independent, wrote on X. CBS executives said dropping the show was "purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show's performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount". The late-night format has been struggling for years as viewers increasingly migrate to streaming. Younger viewers, in particular, are more apt to find amusement on YouTube or TikTok, leaving smaller, aging TV audiences and declining ad revenues. Americans used to religiously turn on Johnny Carson or Jay Leno before bed, but nowadays many fans prefer to watch quick clips on social media. Advertising revenue for Colbert's show has dropped 40 per cent since 2018 - the financial reality that CBS said prompted the decision to end The Late Show in May 2026. One former TV network executive said the program was a casualty of the fading economics of broadcast television. Colbert's late-night show rivals Jimmy Fallon and Seth Myers both expressed shock over the cancellation. "I'm just as shocked as everyone," Fallon wrote on Instagram. "For as great a comedian and host he is, Stephen Colbert is an even better person," Meyers wrote on Instagram. Fifteen years ago, a popular late-night show like The Tonight Show could earn $US100 million ($A153 million) a year, the executive said. Recently, though, The Late Show has been losing $US40 million ($A61 million) a year, said a person briefed on the matter. The show's ad revenue plummeted to $US70 million ($A107 million) last year from $US121million ($A185 million) in 2018, according to ad tracking firm Guideline. Ratings for Colbert's show peaked at 3.1 million viewers on average during the 2017-18 season, according to Nielsen data. For the season that ended in May, the show's audience averaged 1.9 million. Comedians like Colbert followed their younger audiences online, with the network releasing clips to YouTube or TikTok. But digital advertising did not make up for the lost TV ad revenue, the source with knowledge of the matter said. But the end came at a politically sensitive time. Paramount Global, the parent company of CBS, is seeking approval from the Federal Communications Commission for an $US8.4 billion ($A12.8 billion) merger with Skydance Media. This month Paramount agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by Trump over a 60 Minutes interview with his 2024 Democratic challenger, Kamala Harris. Colbert called the payment "a big fat bribe" two days before he was told his show was cancelled.

Ex-partner roasts Wayne Carey as new video emerges
Wayne Carey's ex-partner has publicly mocked the retired footballer in another twist to this week's bizarre scandal. Kate Neilson on Saturday night couldn't help herself from taking a sly dig at her former partner when she re-enacted the viral video featuring the former footballer, sharing her performance on Instagram. The fallout to Carey's so-called 'toilet tryst' drama continues to swirl after the woman pictured walking out of a bathroom ahead of the North Melbourne premiership winner on Friday revealed the episode has taken an immense toll on her personal and professional life. Marketing executive Kate Aston, 38, and Carey have publicly said they are pursuing legal action after the video quickly spread across cyberspace. Neilson, who dated Carey or four years before their split in 2009, was not subtle in re-enacting the video with her own partner while holidaying in Europe. Neilson posted a candid clip of herself walking out of a bathroom covering her face before her partner shortly exits the same bathroom while appearing to use his phone. The video on Neilson's Instagram stories included a duck emoji watermark. Carey's nickname during his football career was 'Duck'. The clip was set to the Bloodhound Gang's The Bad Touch hit. Neilson said she hoped the video was merely a misunderstanding. 'It's really too hard to tell what went on. I just hope for the sake of everyone involved there is no truth to it,' she said, per The Daily Mail. Aston and Carey said this week they are consulting with lawyers. 'What has happened to me could happen to anyone, and no one should have to go through what I have been put through – the damage, the speculation, the impact on my livelihood, all from the malicious actions of a small few,' Aston, who has denied anything happened in the toilets, said, per The Herald Sun. 'Overnight, from footage of me simply exiting a toilet at a bar, I've had my life turned upside down. 'From a professional perspective, my ability has been put into question which has had immediate financial repercussions, one that is costing me every day with the effects likely to be long term and irreversible … while I appear strong, those closest to me know that my suffering over recent days has been colossal.' Watch the viral Wayne Carey footage in the video player above Aston said she will be pursuing legal action after she was filmed at Toorak Cellars in the Melbourne suburb of Armadale last Friday leaving a bathroom about 20 seconds before Carey, 54, walks out. As the recording unfolds, one voice behind the camera can be heard saying 'she looks embarrassed' before a second ponders 'what's he doing in there?'. 'I have been put in this situation simply because of the cyber-bullying actions of other people,' Ms Aston said. 'There needs to be some sort of accountability for their actions. 'The actions of these women have meant my name is now in the public realm, and I am now the subject of immense ridicule. It has already affected my ability to earn an income with other far-reaching negative consequences to come.' Carey has also hit out at the footage, with the premiership winner demanding action and also labelling it cyber-bullying. Carey spoke about the footage with Sam Newman, confirming he had been in contact with Victoria Police and the AFL Players' Association. 'Annoyed is the wrong word, I've gone through 10 different emotions in the last three days,' he said on Newman's podcast. 'One has been disbelief, that's not an emotion, but I've gone through disbelief, sadness, I've gone through anger. 'I've had empathy, I've had all sorts of things go through this body and this mind. 'This woman has been thrown into this just because I could kick a footy. And you've got two vile, disturbing women who want to do this to another woman. 'That's all they were doing, they were slut-shaming another woman,' he said. 'If two men had done that they would be raked over hot coals, it would be the biggest story going around if that had occurred. 'But because it's two women doing it to another woman … you don't know what's going on, this other woman has had all sorts of stuff going in her life I've since found out.' The former North Melbourne captain said he and his partner, Jessica Paulke, had been in contact with the woman in the video and they had all teamed up to hold those behind the footage accountable. 'I know who they are, the police know who they are, my lawyers know who they are. I have contacted these people just like the footballers have contacted these people because they've been abused online,' he said. 'You talk about vile and disgusting, what they have done and who they have affected by a few s**ts and giggles drinking their chardonnay sitting up there doing whatever. 'Once again I'm not going to name them because that would be as pathetic as what they are. I'll let the law take care of it.' Carey, a great of the North Melbourne footy club, has a track record of incidents away from the playing arena. The most famous was his affair with former teammate Anthony Stevens' then-wife Kelli, which led to Carey's sacking from the Kangaroos. He has also been hit with indecent assault, domestic violence and misdemeanour battery allegations, along with issues with drugs and alcohol, and has been sacked from a number of media roles. Carey was in 2007 involved in a 'glassing' incident with Neilson. Neilson last year went public to refute claims Carey made about the incident, where he described reports as incorrect and 'ludicrous'. Neilson has always maintained: 'I can say with certainty the glass of wine was intentionally thrown into my face and smashed my mouth pretty bad.' Neilson has now come forward to accuse the footballer of changing his story. 'Wayne's story about the glassing in Miami has again changed from when he did the Andrew Denton story (in 2008) saying he didn't mean to break the glass on my face, but now he is saying he threw the glass on the ground,'' Neilson told The Herald Sun. 'Which is all lies. He was locked up in jail for a reason. Not because he poured wine on my face. I was bleeding profusely and the FBI took photos, which I have. 'So to say I was hardly a girlfriend is insulting when I lived with him for years and he flew to Tasmania and met my family, wrote about my dad in his autobiography and I was engaged to him. 'I'm extremely insulted by the downplay of all of this.'

Royal watchers spot Kate's former longtime PA's cheeky Meghan act
Don't miss out on the headlines from Royals. Followed categories will be added to My News. IN LONDON The Princess of Wales' former longtime personal assistant has made some telling updates to her social media account. Shortly after it was revealed last week that Kate's former employee and close friend, Natasha Archer, is departing Kensington Palace after 15 years, she made her Instagram page public – and royal watchers were quick to notice that she followed Meghan and her business, As Ever. However, Ms Archer, 37, has since unfollowed both the accounts, according to US magazine People. Natasha Archer, seen her on a royal tour with Kate and William, has quit her job after 15 years. Picture: Dominic Lipinski – Pool/Getty Images Ms Archer recently took her business page public. Picture: Instagram The former royal staffer had also been following members of the Duchess of Sussex's inner circle, including Daniel Martin and Heather Dorak – but they, too, appeared to have been removed. It was reported last week that Ms Archer had quit her job with the Palace in order to set up her own private consultancy. She was known to be an invaluable member of the private household, and has been by Kate's side for key events – both personally and professionally – throughout the years. According to People, the royal couple has 'wished Natasha the very best for the exciting opportunities ahead'. Ms Archer first joined royal employment in 2010 and worked as a personal assistant to both Prince William and Kate – the latter of whom she developed a close friendship with over the years, and became an unofficial stylist. Kate reportedly had a close friendship with Archer. Picture: AP Photo/Kin Cheung Meghan has launched her own personal social media accounts this year. Picture: Instagram Last year, it emerged that she had been promoted to senior private executive assistant for both the Prince and Princess of Wales back in 2022. 'Natasha deserves this boost — she's unfailingly discreet and loyal to Kate. The salary boost will be welcome too. This appointment means we can expect to see Natasha by Kate's side for years to come,' a source told the Daily Mail at the time. 'It seems to be Kate's way of thanking her for her loyalty.' Ms Archer is widely credited with reshaping Kate's wardrobe in recent years, evolving her royal look from the more traditional coat dresses to modern suits. She is also reportedly a close confidante for the princess, providing support and discretion during her cancer battle and subsequent break from the public eye throughout last year.
