Keegan Bradley has one of the hardest jobs in golf, being in charge of assembling and leading the American team to the Ryder Cup. Fortunately, he has the best management staff possible, including Logan, his eldest son.
Apparently, Logan has assigned himself the "mission" of scouting the best American players. According to Bradley, one of his "reports" was on none other than Scottie Scheffler, and the boy aced the assignment.
"When he sees an American leading a tournament, he gets excited," Bradley said in a Ryder Cup video posted on X. "He asked me the other day who my picks are going to be, and he said, 'You have to pick Scottie Scheffler', and I said, 'You've nailed that one, we will pick him.'"

Naturally, the Ryder Cup theme has become omnipresent at the Bradleys', and it looks like it has hit hard in Logan.
"(He) is starting to understand, he doesn't get fully how big this is, but he gets it," Bradley said in the video. "This is going to be such an experience for him. Loves every sport, he loves coming to the golf tournaments, but you know, the Ryder Cup compared to a regular event, is not comparable, so I think this is going to shock him."
Keegan Bradley and his wife Jillian have two sons, Logan, born in 2017, and Cooper, born in 2019. Keegan and Jillian began dating in 2012 and married in 2016.
What Has Keegan Bradley's Son Seen in Scottie Scheffler?
Logan Bradley's "scouting report" supports the unanimous opinion of fans and experts: If there's one indispensable player for the team, it's Scottie Scheffler. He's not the only one locked in so far for nothing.

MoreThis season, Scheffler has finished in the top 25 in each of the 12 tournaments he has played. This includes three wins (one major championship) and 12 top-10 finishes, 10 of them consecutively.
It's worth noting that the streak is currently active, and the World No. 1 intends to extend it at this weekend's Open Championship.
Scheffler leads the rankings for the American Ryder Cup team and is already locked in. The top six qualify automatically, while the team captain will freely select the other six members.
This is how the top 12 rankings look after the Genesis Scottish Open:

The Open: R&A Justifies Penalty as Shane Lowry Questions Camera Angle

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The most stinging thing that can happen to a golfer, especially in the heat of a major, is a penalty that rewrites their scorecard. On Friday at Royal Portrush, Shane Lowry felt that sting in full force. The 2019 Open champion was assessed a two-stroke penalty during his second round after slow-motion footage showed his ball slightly moving during a practice swing on the par-5 12th hole. PORTRUSH, NORTHERN IRELAND - JULY 18: Shane Lowry of Ireland reacts after finishing his round on the 18th green during day two of The 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush Golf Club on July 18, 2025 in Portrush, Northern Ireland. (Photo by) More Getty Images The moment, dissected in high definition, transformed a routine par into a costly double bogey, knocking the Irish pro from 2-under to even par. Amid the scrutiny, the R&A moved swiftly to justify their decision. On Saturday, tournament officials released a detailed statement explaining the penalty's basis: During Round 2, Shane Lowry's ball was seen to have moved while he was taking a practice swing for his second shot from the rough at the 12th hole," it read, as posted on the PGA Tour's official site. The Rules require three things to be assessed in such situations: 1. Did the ball leave its original position and come to rest on another spot? 2. Was the ball's movement to another spot discernible to the naked eye? and 3. If the ball did come to rest on another spot and the movement was discernible to the naked eye, is it known or virtually certain that the player's actions caused the ball to move? Assessing whether the movement of the ball was visible to the naked eye in such a situation assumes the player being in a normal address position for the stroke. The R&A went further to explain, "In these circumstances there is a one stroke penalty and the ball must be replaced. However, as the ball was played from the spot where it was moved to, the player played from a wrong place and incurs a total penalty of two strokes." Shane Lowry doubts the camera angles used for the penalty The official notice came after Lowry was left "disappointed" and doubted the camera angles, which led to the penalties. "I didn't know anything happened until walking up the 15th fairway and then the rules official came over and told me that there was a possibility the ball moved on the 12th for my second shot," he told reporters during the post-round press conference on Friday. Later, he voiced his concern over the footage used. BREAKING Shane Lowry was assessed a two-stroke penalty for this incident on the 12th hole. According to @ToddLewisGC The R&A spent nearly 20 minutes reviewing the video with Lowry, Scheffler and Morikawa after the round. — (@GOLF_com) July 18, 2025 "I was in there with the rules official and wasn't arguing my case, but I'm disappointed that they don't have more camera angles on it," he told reporters, per a transcript. "The one zoomed in slow motion -- they're trying to tell me if it doesn't move from the naked eye, if you don't see it moving, it didn't move. I told them I definitely was looking down towards the ball as I was taking that practice swing, and I didn't see it move". But the real reason Lowry accepted the penalty was reputation. "The last thing I want to do is sit there and argue and not take the penalty and then get slaughtered all over social media tonight for being a cheat," he shared with the media on Day 2. The incident sparked intense debate across social platforms, some rallying behind Lowry's integrity, others defending the rules committee's precision. Even World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who played alongside Lowry during the first two rounds, weighed in. Scottie Scheffler Speaks Out on Shane Lowry's Penalty "I felt like Shane was put in a pretty tough situation there when they were zooming in on his golf ball," Scheffler told reporters on Friday. "In the rough it's hard to tell. From what I looked at very briefly on the video, it looked like it was very difficult to see if the ball was moving --sorry. If the ball moved. The camera was kind of zooming in as stuff was happening," Later in the press conference, he praised Lowry for handling the situation well. "One of the great things about the game of golf is that you call your penalties on yourself," Sheffler said, per the transcript. "Shane ... handled it really well. "It's frustrating for me as a competitor of his and a player to watch him after kind of deal with that because the last thing you want to be known in the game of golf is somebody who cheats." With the adjustment, Lowry's score dropped from 70 to 72. He still made the cut, but now trailed leader Scheffler by 10 shots heading into the weekend. What do you think about the situation? Shelter Kitten Watched Siblings Get Adopted—Days Later, Everything Changed

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. After adopting two kittens from a local rescue, a couple couldn't stop thinking about the one sibling left behind, so they immediately went back for him. A viral Reddit post shared on Wednesday under the username u/EvergreenHulk, shows the newest addition to the couple's home, a small tabby kitten with big green eyes. The caption says: "We left him at the shelter Friday when we adopted his brothers. We returned and brought Loki home today." The poster, Mark, told Newsweek that they were a four-cat home until they lost their 14-year-old girl Max in April 2024, and then her brother Baloo at 16 years old in May 2025, so he and his wife decided it was time to rescue some new kitties. "Last week, my wife saw a Facebook post from the Friends of Montcalm County Animal Control. They had three male kittens left from a litter of five to adopt. She wanted to go see a kitten, and, at our appointment on Friday, we agreed we were going to adopt Sprite," Mark said. However, while the couple were meeting the kitten, his brother kept demanding attention from the poster's wife and climbing on her leg, so they also adopted Frodo and became a four-cat house again. "Almost immediately, we regretted leaving one kitten behind. We discussed that, if no one had adopted him in two weeks, we would reach out again. But we are such softies for kitties that we barely made it through the weekend," Mark said. "My wife called the shelter again on Monday and made an appointment to pick up the last kitten Tuesday after work. As soon as he got back with his brothers, it was like they had never been separated," Mark added. "They have been snuggling, playing, and wrestling for the last day. It's been a blast to see them all back together. Our biggest regret is making him be all alone for those four days." Adopting animals from shelters has never been more important. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) says that almost 3 million homeless cats entered U.S. shelters in 2024, and, of those, only 2.2 were adopted. About 362,000 were returned to their owner or the field, and, of those left, 369,000 were transferred to other organizations, and another 273,000 were euthanized. Animals in shelter are often euthanized for lack of space, because intake numbers are higher than available spots. Adopting an animal from a shelter will not only save their life, but will also make space to host another homeless pet, which may otherwise be euthanized. One user, AffectionateMemory82, commented: "No kittens left behind! I love this. Congratulations Loki and your brothers! Is one of them named Thor by chance?" RolandLWN posted: "I did that, and went back twice until I'd adopted the entire litter of five. I started out adopting two, then felt bad about their two siblings left behind so I went back for another two. "Then a month later someone returned the fifth one who had been adopted before I adopted the two sets. I was thrilled to be able to go and get her and bring her home to her four siblings! And she knew them immediately!" Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share?
