'I've been lucky to be here' — Travis Kelce embraces role as a veteran leader with avowal of love for the Kansas City Chiefs
'I've been lucky to be here' — Travis Kelce embraces role as a veteran leader with avowal of love for the Kansas City Chiefs originally appeared on A to Z Sports. While everyone loves to hear about Travis Kelce's love story with Taylor Swift, there's one other that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end speaks so highly of. And that happens to be the place he has called home for 13 seasons. 'I've been lucky to be here," Kelce told reporters at training camp on Wednesday. "What is this my 13th year now? I just absolutely love this organization. I love the team. I love all the coaches. I know just about every defensive coach as well as I know all of the offensive coaches and vice versa with the players and the staff in the equipment room. "I just, I have fun coming in to work every single day," he added. "And what better way to get better than to make sure we lean on each other? And if I can give somebody a word that makes them better on that specific route or doing that specific drill, man I'm here for it.' Kelce has helped Kansas City become one of the most dominant franchises in NFL history, with many saying they are the next Dynasty. And part of that is the team's work ethic, which starts with him as a veteran presence in the locker room. 'I think that gives me more juice than, than you know, than anything else is the fact that we have created this culture, we have created this machine that when you do it the right way, it works, and you get to win football games because of it," he explained. "I think that alone kind of gives you the excitement that what we're doing here is special.'This story was originally reported by A to Z Sports on Aug 7, 2025, where it first appeared.

In an Instagram video shared on Thursday, Aug. 7, the singer, 39, teased an upcoming brand partnership on Instagram. She opened the video by revealing that she has been "working on something really fun" that she "cannot wait to share." "This moment is about dropping your skinhibitions," Ciara said. "You all know I am a mom of my precious four babies, and they have blessed me with these stretch marks, and I'm like, why am I gonna cover up what I can show off?" she said as she lifted her sweatshirt to show off her stretch marks. The "Body Party" singer then hummed a melody she wrote to the tune of childhood classic "The Hokey Pokey." "I put my left arm in, I let my worries out. I put my whole self in and I shake it all about. I drop my skinhibitions and I dance it all around, that's what it's all about," she sang. "And you know I'm gonna put that CC sauce on it. I can't wait. Love y'all. Thanks," she concluded, blowing a kiss to the camera. Ciara first became a mom to son Future Zahir Wilburn, 11, in 2014. The singer shares her first son with ex-fiancé Future. In 2016, Ciara tied the knot with now husband Russell Wilson, who was thrilled to welcome the little boy into his life. He later said his bonus son becoming a part of his family was "a blessing," and he was his "joy every morning" and his "light every night." Wilson and Ciara share daughter Sienna Princess, 8, Win Harrison, 5, and daughter Amora Princess, who was born in December 2023, with Wilson, 36. Ciara recently shared an update on Amora, whom she revealed is now old enough to dance. Alicia Silverstone Shares ‘Clueless' Series Update: 'Baby Stages'
After 30 years, Alicia Silverstone wants to give Cher Horowitz the proper comeback treatment. Following the news that a series adaptation of her breakout 1995 teen movie Clueless is in development at Peacock, the Golden Globe nominee recently shared her excitement about the update, although she couldn't reveal anything. More from Deadline 'Clueless' Series Starring Alicia Silverstone In Works At Peacock Alicia Silverstone Reprises 'Clueless' Role In Super Bowl Commercial For Rakuten 'The Office' Follow-Up Series 'The Paper' Tips Hat To Past In Trailer & Sets Up Season 1 In First-Look Photos 'I'm really excited about it,' she said on Today. 'I think we're going to try really hard. The goal is to make it honor what everyone loves about Clueless and Cher.' Silverstone continued, 'So we want to honor that, but also bring something fresh and new to it. I'm confident that we'll be able to do that, but we're in baby stages right now.' Inspired by Jane Austen's 1815 novel Emma, Silverstone starred in the Amy Heckerling-written/directed Clueless as wealthy Beverly Hills teen Cher Horowitz, who sets up two lonely teachers and gives a new student a makeover in her mission to do good deeds, all while navigating her own love life. In April, Deadline reported that a TV series adaptation was in the works at Peacock with Silverstone attached to reprise her role as Cher and executive produce. It is written and executive produced by Gossip Girl duo Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage of Fake Empire and Dollface creator Jordan Weiss, with Heckerling and the 1995 film's producer Robert Lawrence also executive producing the series, from CBS Studios in association with Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group. Silverstone got high marks from fans after reprising her Clueless character in a Super Bowl ad for Rakuten two years ago.
