However, option entry for medical, dental, ayurveda, homeopathy, unani, B Sc Nursing, architecture and naturopathy courses will begin only after the release of their respective seat matrices by the departments concerned, KEA Executive Director H Prasanna said.
Mock allotment results will be declared on July 19. Students can revise their choices till July 22. Final allotment results will be announced on July 25.
KEA has urged students to thoroughly go through the UGCET-2025 seat allotment information brochure and follow the preference order carefully. Instructional videos are also available on the KEA Vikasana YouTube Channel.
Candidates with practical ranks in veterinary, agriculture and animal husbandry must enter options for both regular and practical quota seats separately.
Admissions for medical and related courses will follow the regulations laid down by the National Medical Commission (NMC), Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the State Medical Education Department.

UG admissions: MGCU starts online counselling
Patna: Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU) in Motihari has commenced online registration for candidates seeking counselling and admission to its four undergraduate programmes for the current academic session (2025-26). MGCU's public relations officer Shephalika Mishra said that registration for counselling-cum-admission of all candidates who appeared in the CUET-UG-2025 examination, selecting MGCU as one of their study centre options, has started without considering the cut-off score in the test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). "Candidates desirous of seeking admission at MGCU can apply through the official e-Samarth portal. The last date for submission of the application is July 24," she said. This year the university will be admitting students on 132 seats (33 seats in each) in four UG programmes, including BCom (honours with research), bachelor of library and information science (honours with research), bachelor in journalism and mass communications (honours with research), and BTech/MTech in computer science engineering(four/five years), she said. She further pointed out that a standout feature of this year's academic offerings is the integrated BTech-MTech programme in computer science and engineering. "This flexible programme allows students to exit after four years with a BTech degree or continue seamlessly into the fifth year to earn an MTech degree," she said, adding that this integrated programme is fully aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, which emphasizes flexibility and a strong foundation in research. MGCU examination controller K K Upadhyaya said candidates willing to take admission in these programmes are required to register themselves on the MGCU portal ( by July 24 by depositing Rs 500 (for candidates belonging to general/ OBC/EWS categories) and Rs 200 (for SC/ST/PWD candidates).

Youth workshop begins in Mangaluru
Mangaluru: A three-day residential youth workshop, titled 'Pragati and Sphoorti – 2025', has commenced at the World Konkani Centre in Mangaluru, focusing on skill development, personality enhancement, and community values for students of the Kudala Deshastha Brahmin community. Organised jointly by Shri Poornananda Seva Pratishtan and the Dakshina Kannada District Kudala Deshastha Adya Gaud Brahmin Sangha, the programme is designed for college and pre-university students from the community. Inaugurating the workshop, World Konkani Centre President CA Nandagopal Shenoy stressed the need for holistic education that includes both academic knowledge and personal development. He also highlighted the role of the Konkani language in reinforcing cultural identity and self-confidence. The programme includes modules on communication, leadership, cultural preservation, and technological awareness. Vice-President of the World Konkani Centre, D.
