Wuthering Waves has been luring players through its mysterious blend of exploration and multi-layered narration. The newest event, Deep Sea Survey, is no exception. Running from July 24 to August 27, 2025, it offers a fully immersive experience that takes the players underwater and into a world that is both eerie and beautiful known as the Fabricatorium of the Deep.
And it's not just another side quest-a treasure hunt involving snapshots with deep lore connections and rewarding gameplay.
How to Unlock: Entry Requirements
Before entering into the survey, certain groundwork must be laid. To unlock the Deep Sea Survey, players have to:
Complete Main Quest Chapter II Act VII: Dreamcatchers in the Secret Gardens
Finish the side quest Scale of Past
These requirements provide the narrative continuity and the proper context needed for the lore-heavy underwater Fabricatorium in which the event takes place.
Event Mechanics: Snapshots from the Abyss
At the very center of the Deep Sea's Survey are explorations.
Players must find six Chrono Traces hidden about the chilling halls of the Fabricatorium. Only this is no simple hunt-there's a photojournalist in disguise.
Following in-game clues, the player is led to explore a certain zone and are then tasked to:
Take pictures of key locations or
Search and interact with hidden elements at specific locations
Each time a task is completed, it adds to the Chrono Trace Collection, a sort of visual and narrative map of the secrets lying beneath the oceanic complex.
Deep Sea Survey FULL QUEST Wuthering Waves
Permanent Lore, Limited-Time Prizes
One of the most exclusive features of the Deep Sea Survey is its hybrid nature: while the rewards of the event are time-bound, the lore exists forever.

Past August 27, players might even revisit "Scale of Past" and delve deeper into mysteries through Trace Scale, thereby giving latecomers a chance to soak in the lore without the constraint of time.
That said, long are the winters for those who show up during the official event timeline!
Rewards
Each Chrono Trace brings rewards of value.
It is quite a delightful thought to have Astrite for stash any time they want.
Advanced Resonance Potions are perfect for bringing combat advantages.
Advanced Energy Cores and Advanced Sealed Tubes are necessary for a weapons upgrade and for Echoes.
The kind of rewards that Telesto is famous for are not filler, they will support your progression and give you think for future challenges.
Deep Sea Survey is not merely a limited time treasure hunt. It epitomizes a very important thing Wuthering Waves is proud of-welding gameplay with atmosphere and narrative. The mere act of taking photographs of strange ruins, unearthing lost histories, and redoing quests well after the event has closed, speaks of that big commitment to worldbuilding and player engagement.
So whether you're gathering Astrite, unearthing lore, or just taking in the eerie calm of Fabricatorium, this event has something fulfilling for everybody. Don't miss your moment to mark the depths.

She's also invested in chin and jaw reshaping, cheekbone enhancement, and breast augmentation, taking her from a 75C to a 75E bra size. A New York Post article reports that she has already spent around $1,900 on the cheekbone, and she plans to spend more. Despite warnings from doctors who have refused to perform additional injections for safety reasons, Ivanova says she intends to continue with the procedures. A look that's always evolving By 2022, Ivanova had already completed nearly 32 procedures. She told Jam Press that her goal is to 'model and gain significant enlargement' of her facial features, and that more surgeries are already planned as a 'gift' to herself for Christmas. She also revealed that she helps fund her cosmetic journey by auctioning off 'kisses for cash' on Instagram. Critics and concerns Despite online criticism and repeated medical warnings, Ivanova is committed to her look. 'I don't worry about people's comments, as I have my own taste and views on beauty – I follow them strictly,' she said. Though several clinics have declined to treat her due to the health risks involved, Ivanova remains firm in her plans: even bigger lips, larger cheekbones, and more surgeries ahead, regardless of the cost.
