Diddy Stopped 'Freak-Off' To Confront Suge Knight In Los Angeles, Cassie Testifies

Yahoo13-05-2025
During her bombshell testimony against Sean 'Diddy' Combs Tuesday (May 13), Cassie Ventura alleged that one of their 'freak-offs' was put on hold so that the Bad Boy founder could confront rival Suge Knight at a Los Angeles diner.
The 'Me & U' singer made the reveal during the second half of her testimony Tuesday (May 13) as she detailed having a 'freak-off' in LA that Puff cut short after hearing Knight was at a nearby restaurant.
'We were having a freak off in one of his homes in L.A. and he said Suge was at Mel's Diner and we packed up and drove down there,' Ventura testified, as per NBC. 'I was screaming and crying, 'Please don't do anything stupid.' I didn't know what they were going to do.'
While Ventura didn't go into further detail, Puff and Suge's longstanding rivalry stretches all the way back to the 1990s East Coast vs West Coast rap feud that led to the deaths of both Knights' Death Row artist, Tupac Shakur, and Puff's Bad Boy artist, The Notorious B.I.G.
More recently, Suge — who is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence — teased that he knows 'secrets' about Diddy's past. 'I'll tell you what, Puffy, your life is in danger 'cause you know the secrets of who's involved in that little secret room you guys are participating in,' Suge said on his Collect Call with Suge Knight podcast September 2024. 'You know they gonna get you if they can… I turned myself in. Sometimes you gotta face the music, that's most of the time.'
Knight further taunted, 'Puffy, I'm gonna give you some real advice. Two quick things. You gotta make a decision. When you go to prison, either you're gonna be standing up pi**ing or squatting, sitting down pi**ing'. I advise you to try to take the first one 'cause if you squatting and pi**ing you know what that means. Do not do your time going by Brother Love. Brother Love is not a good code name.'
Combs is currently on trial for racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Ex-Girlfriend Gina Huynh Says She Will 'Always Have His Back'

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' ex-girlfriend, Virginia 'Gina' Huynh, doubled down on her support of the 55-year-old as he awaits sentencing on prostitution charges. Speaking on social media, Huynh explained her reasoning for penning a letter advocating for Combs' release, despite being identified by prosecutors as one of the disgraced mogul's victims. 'I've never been the type of person to follow crowds & trends. I'm not a follower,' she exclaimed. The posts were screenshot and shared by The Shade Room. 'You sheeps [sheep emoji] act like I can't forgive a man I once loved… I'm not gonna kick him while he's down cause yall want me to. BI**H I DONT EVEN KNOW YOU… TF lol [tears of joy emoji] goofies… ima always have his back. [pink heart emoji]' Earlier this week, a letter was written by Huynh to the judge, in which she confirmed herself as Victim-3 and advocated for Combs' release. Although identified as a victim, Huynh was never called to testify as prosecutors lost contact with both her and her lawyer ahead of the trial, despite being subpoenaed. 'I believe it is important for the Court to have a full picture of who he is beyond the allegations,' she wrote. 'Our relationship, like many, was not always perfect. We experienced ups and downs, and mistakes were made, but he was willing to acknowledge his mistakes and make better decisions in the future.' Huynh's letter and a motion requesting bail filed by Combs' legal team did not move Judge Arun Subramanian. He denied granting the Mt. Vernon native bail for the fifth time, claiming Combs presented a 'risk of flight or danger' in his ruling. Combs is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 3, 2025. Diddy Accusers Speak Up After Hearing Of His Plans To Counsel Abusers: 'Utterly Preposterous'

Diddy is working hard to get out of spending any more time in jail than necessary, and he is seemingly willing to try anything, even if it is ill-advised. The 55-year-old entrepreneur hopes to counsel abusers, which has prompted his accusers to speak out against such an act. Alexandra Shapiro, one of the controversial mogul's trial lawyers, spoke to Business Insider about his plans of becoming an anti-domestic violence counselor. 'That's something that he actively wants to pursue in the future,' she said. 'The idea is that he would work with programs and be able to go in and talk to people, talk to youth, talk to others about the issue in a proactive way and be an advocate for this. And sometimes, people like him can be the best spokesperson to try to help.' Again, this doesn't appear to be entirely selfless or noble, as these plans are part of his attempt to get time served for his two convictions of transportation to engage in prostitution. His alleged victims and their teams held nothing back in sharing their thoughts on his plans. 'This is utterly preposterous,' Douglas Wigdor, Cassie's attorney, told Rolling Stone. 'How are you going to counsel someone else when you haven't done the work on yourself?' another source, who was allegedly physically assaulted by the controversial mogul in 2010, said. 'This is manipulation at its best.' His need for rehabilitation seemed to be a common theme, as another one of Puff's alleged victims said 'It's [making] a mockery of the system. It's a mockery of everyone he's harmed. He needs intensive therapy.' The 'I Need A Girl' artist was acquitted of his racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges last month. It closed an almost two-year saga that included him being sued, his homes being raided by Homeland Security, footage of him abusing Cassie coming out, and him spending 8 months in jail. "Os Encantados" by Romane Iskaria

Self portrait Her work is also rooted in a personal connection: the one she has maintained since adolescence with the region of Paraíba, her father's homeland. This emotional and familial bond nourishes an artistic and spiritual quest, giving rise to "Os Encantados", a project at the crossroads of photography, oral storytelling, and historical-anthropological analysis. This work sheds light on the histories, struggles, and spiritualities of the Jurema communities, while challenging dominant narratives about Brazilian identity. It celebrates a living heritage and tribute to those who inhabit, defend, and dream this land, a world both enchanted and deeply grounded in reality." About the artist Romane Iskaria is a French photographer and artist working in Brussels, Belgium (1997). She graduated with a Master's degree in photography from ENSAV La Cambre in 2022 and a DNA (National Diploma in Plastic Arts) from INSEAAM Beaux Arts in Marseille in 2018. She also completed an exchange at the U-LAVAL Visual Arts school in Quebec, Canada. The photographer highlights the injustices and inequalities of invisible communities with a documentary and fictional approach. Her images, specific to 'Care', tell a story and allow her subjects to become aware of their painful stories. The artist uses photography and the field of video, but also textiles, sound, and sculpture to create immersive installations. She tells stories that take the form of a long-term investigation across several territories. Romane replays specific rituals and stories that also transcend borders, addressing questions around migration and exile. The photographer creates plastic forms allowing her to subvert the codes of documentary. Romane is laureate of TIFF 2024 Emerging Belgian Photography, by FOMU Fotomuseum Antwerpen and the european platform FUTURES Photography.
