Is Arteta under pressure to deliver success next season?
Will Mikel Arteta be under pressure at the beginning of next season?Former Premier League striker Clinton Morrison believes so after Arsenal came up short in this campaign and their wait goes on for a first domestic title in over 20 years."This was their best opportunity," said Morrison on BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast. "If you look at the points they have got over recent seasons then you can see they have been nowhere near good enough this season. "They have been pushing Manchester City right to the wire, but not this season. I credit Liverpool because they have been consistent but I think this campaign was a great opportunity or Arsenal."I know they have had injuries but every club has. For me, I say it every time I am asked and I just do not see how you can win the Premier League without a number nine."That is what Arsenal need and that is probably what they will strengthen in the summer. But for me, Mikel Arteta is under pressure at the start of next season."The club will back him this summer and allow him to sign players but he needs to start winning trophies and in particular the Premier League."They are the 'nearly club' at the moment, so they need to be better."Listen to the Football Daily podcast on BBC Sounds

Who are Sunderland's most skilful players ever?
Throughout Wednesday, we are revealing who Sunderland legend Marco Gabbiadini believes are the club's most skilful players fifth place, its 1960s and 70s legend Billy Hughes. Hughes was an integral part of the 1973 FA Cup-winning side and Gabbiadini told BBC Radio Newcastle the striker brought a different skillset to other forwards of that time:"People have always talked to me about Billy Hughes. He was involved in a very successful team, and he is just one of those players who fans really engaged with. He was a little bit different - not a big bustling centre forward, which was the norm in his era. "He was wave-like, almost like George Best. "He scored really interesting goals. When you see them, they are really clever and he really used his imagination. For me, that is what defines his skills."Listen on BBC Sounds - and come back later for the rest of the list!

The match became more heated in the second half, and reached a boiling point with 20 minutes remaining. Challenging for the ball, Fernandez's high boot caught Colombia star Kevin Castano in the face. The midfielder was subsequently sent off for the challenge, while Castano received treatment. Lionel Messi appeared to be frustrated by the incident, and was seen animatedly exchanging words with Colombia veteran James Rodriguez. Just a few minutes after the flashpoint, Messi appeared to throw an elbow towards Crystal Palace's Daniel Munoz. The Inter Miami star, 37, was surprisingly substituted in the 78th minute, being replaced by Exequiel Palacios. It proved to be an inspired move, with Palacios setting up Thiago Almada's equaliser for 10-man Argentina just a few minutes later. Argentina have already qualified for next year's World Cup, with last night's draw putting them 10 points clear of second place Ecuador in the South American standings. Fernandez will serve a suspension when Scaloni's men return to action this September. The reigning world champions will host Venezuela on September 9, before travelling to Ecuador on September 14.
