Romano: Inter Milan End Pursuit of Lookman

Rana Atef Inter Milan decided to walk away from negotiations for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Talks with La Dea stalled despite Inter's verbal agreement with the Nigerian international, with Atalanta rejecting the Nerazzurri's €45 million offer and sticking firmly to their €50m valuation. Reports linking Nicola Zalewski's potential move from Inter to Atalanta as part of the deal have also proven inaccurate. With no progress in sight, Inter are preparing to notify Lookman's camp that the deal is off. The 27-year-old is expected to resume training and be available for Atalanta's Serie A opener against Pisa this weekend. Although Atletico Madrid have also been linked, there are no active negotiations at present. For now, Lookman looks set to remain in Bergamo, though a late Premier League bid could still change the picture before the transfer window closes. Having pulled the plug on Lookman, Inter are now prioritizing midfield signings over attacking reinforcements. French talent Manu Koné remains a leading target, but Roma have already turned down a €45m proposal. Genoa's Morten Frendrup is also under consideration, with the Danish midfielder continuing to impress as one of Serie A's brightest prospects. In defense, Inter are monitoring Udinese centre-back Oumar Solet. Meanwhile, Benjamin Pavard has drawn interest from Galatasaray, Marseille, Lille, and Barcelona, potentially opening the door for further movement in the market. read more Japan Stun Spain 2-1 to Qualify for World Cup Last 16 World Cup 2022: Get to Know Confirmed Line-ups of Japan and Spain Group E Decider Saudi Arabia Bid Farewell to World Cup after 2-1 Loss to Mexico Tunisia Achieve Historic Win over France but Fail to Qualify Tunisia to Clash against France in World Cup Sports Get to Know Squad of Group D Teams in World Cup Sports Al Ahly Gift EGP 70,000 to Players After Claiming Egyptian Super Cup Title Sports Bencharki Hits First 2 Goals with Al Jazira Since Leaving Zamalek Sports Arsenal Possible Line-up for Nottingham Forest Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News The Jessica Radcliffe Orca Attack? 100% Fake and AI-Generated

Alonso: Alexander-Arnold Not Guaranteed Starting Spot at Real Madrid

Rana Atef Xabi Alonso has admitted that Trent Alexander-Arnold is not assured of a starting role at Real Madrid, with Dani Carvajal back in contention following his recovery from a serious knee injury. Alexander-Arnold was Madrid's marquee summer signing, arriving from Liverpool for £8.5 million after the club paid to terminate his contract early so he could feature in the FIFA Club World Cup. The England international quickly became a regular, starting five of Madrid's six matches at the tournament before a minor injury ruled him out of their semi-final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain. But Alonso has made it clear that the right-back spot will be shared. 'It's not about being fair or unfair — I'll just have to divide what's there,' Alonso explained. 'I have many positions double-covered, and this is one of them, with two exceptional players. Carva has worked tirelessly to get back close to his best level, and Trent brings his Liverpool experience. That competition can only improve the squad. With the number of games we'll play, we need both at top level.' Carvajal, who ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament last October, has only made two substitute appearances since returning but remains a key figure, having finished fourth in the Ballon d'Or last year. Alexander-Arnold returned to action in a friendly against Tirol last week and is expected to be available for Madrid's La Liga opener against Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabéu on Tuesday. After a trophyless campaign last season that saw Barcelona sweep a domestic treble, Real Madrid are determined to bounce back. Alonso will be counting on a refreshed defense, with the additions of Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth, Álvaro Carreras from Benfica, Alexander-Arnold's arrival, and Carvajal's return to full fitness. read more Japan Stun Spain 2-1 to Qualify for World Cup Last 16 World Cup 2022: Get to Know Confirmed Line-ups of Japan and Spain Group E Decider Saudi Arabia Bid Farewell to World Cup after 2-1 Loss to Mexico Tunisia Achieve Historic Win over France but Fail to Qualify Tunisia to Clash against France in World Cup Sports Get to Know Squad of Group D Teams in World Cup Sports Al Ahly Gift EGP 70,000 to Players After Claiming Egyptian Super Cup Title Sports Bencharki Hits First 2 Goals with Al Jazira Since Leaving Zamalek Sports Arsenal Possible Line-up for Nottingham Forest Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News The Jessica Radcliffe Orca Attack? 100% Fake and AI-Generated

Saudi Super Cup: Al Nassr to Face Al Ittihad Tonight

Rana Atef Tonight, Hong Kong Stadium will host the highly anticipated clash between Al Nassr and Al Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final. Al Nassr step into the match full of confidence after an active summer transfer window, determined to deliver their first official trophy alongside Portuguese icon Cristiano Ronaldo and make amends for last season's setbacks. For the Riyadh side, victory over Ittihad would provide a huge boost ahead of the new Saudi Pro League campaign, especially with the spotlight on the duel between former Real Madrid legends Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. Al Ittihad, meanwhile, arrive as the reigning league and cup champions, aiming to extend their dominance. The 'Tigers' see the Super Cup as a chance to complete a historic treble, strengthening their status at home and building momentum before the challenges of the upcoming season. While Ittihad qualify as league and cup holders, Al Nassr earned their spot in the competition by finishing third last season. The winner of this high-profile encounter will face either Al Ahli or Al Qadsiah in the final, scheduled for Wednesday. The tournament, running from August 19 to 23, is being staged in Hong Kong as part of the Saudi Football Federation's efforts to expand the global footprint of its domestic competitions. read more Japan Stun Spain 2-1 to Qualify for World Cup Last 16 World Cup 2022: Get to Know Confirmed Line-ups of Japan and Spain Group E Decider Saudi Arabia Bid Farewell to World Cup after 2-1 Loss to Mexico Tunisia Achieve Historic Win over France but Fail to Qualify Tunisia to Clash against France in World Cup Sports Get to Know Squad of Group D Teams in World Cup Sports Al Ahly Gift EGP 70,000 to Players After Claiming Egyptian Super Cup Title Sports Bencharki Hits First 2 Goals with Al Jazira Since Leaving Zamalek Sports Arsenal Possible Line-up for Nottingham Forest Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News The Jessica Radcliffe Orca Attack? 100% Fake and AI-Generated
