Noel Edmonds, 76, reveals the weird quirk in his home which is actually an adorable tribute to his 'earth angel' wife Liz Davies, 55

Noel Edmonds has revealed there is a very weird quirk in his New Zealand home, where all his clocks are stopped at 11.06.
But it's no mistake, and instead a very sweet tribute to his wife of 16 years.
Speaking in his new show Noel Edmonds' Kiwi Adventure, the presenter, 76, revealed 11.06 is actually the time he met his wife Liz Davies, 55.
The pair were first introduced in 2006 when she was his make up artist on Deal Or No Deal and they tied the knot three years later.
'Generally speaking, when you round here, see a clock at six minutes past 11, it's not broken,' Noel said.

'That was the time on the sixth of October, 2006, yep, when my earth angel arrived and introduced herself.'
Despite two previous failed marriages, and Noel saying he'd never tie the knot again, the television personality said he felt Liz's magnetic energy before they even met.
Gushing about Liz, Noel said: 'Liz was sent to me. She is an earth angel, which I know some people will fall about laughing. I knew she was in the room before I turned around. I looked her and went, Oh, thank goodness, there you are, the sustenance of her energy is my lifeblood. I mean, it really is.
'You will never, ever pull us apart, because we are one. To find that in your life is a gift.
'I believe it's a gift from the cosmos. It was an unforgettable moment. So the clocks are there, the time of my life.'
In response to her husband's kind words, Liz joked: 'I thought someone has got to look after him. Doing my little bit of care in the community.'
ITV dropped a first look at Noel's new life abroad last week after quitting the UK and being replaced on Deal Or No Deal.
The TV personality and radio presenter was best known for his stint hosting the Channel 4 game show from 2005 to 2016 when it ended, before its revival with Stephen Mulhern in 2023.

But after more than 50 years on British TV and radio, Noel left the UK in 2018 with his wife Liz to build a new life in New Zealand.
They have now opened a hospitality business in the small rural, riverside town of Ngatimoti, which includes a vineyard, coffee cart, general store, restaurant and pub.
And ITV has now given viewers a first look at his new reality show Noel Edmonds' Kiwi Adventure, set to launch on June 20 - which sees the presenter literally bare all.
First-look images of the programme show Noel stripping down to show off his toned physique, seemingly to enter a kind of plunge pool.
Other pictures show Noel and Liz at work on their business, known as River Haven, with one depicting them outside its on-site pub, cheekily named The B***er Inn.
With some showing them beaming, and others seeing them in deep, serious conversation, it suggests their entrepreneurial journey has not always been smooth.
The couple only bought the land for their business two years ago - so it is only just now entering its second full season of trading.
And Noel admits in the first-look trailer: 'New Zealand's a great place to come to. It's not the easiest place to set up a business.'
The veteran presenter also confesses at another point in the clip: 'We're haemorrhaging money at the moment.'
Not only are they trying to get their existing business up and running, Noel will also strive to build New Zealand's first energy garden in the upcoming show.
It is a lot of pressure after moving 11,500 miles away - and the programme will see the couple battle unseasonal weather, bad press and feelings of still being outsiders.
It remains to be seen whether they will survive the challenges life down under throws at them.

Baywatch reboot underway as original bikini-clad series surges in popularity on streaming channels

The beach is back. The highly-anticipated Baywatch reboot is finally inching closer, two years after it was first announced. 'We're in advanced talks with Fox in the U.S. about the Baywatch reboot,' Fremantle's Bob McCourt told Deadline this week. The series was first announced in 2023 and officially landed at Fox a year later. Writing has been underway from Burn Notice creator Matt Nix, who was brought in this year to do rewrites. In addition to Burn Notice, Nix is known for working on the Turner & Hooch TV series, which was based on the 1989 film, and the True Lies series, based on the 1991 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. The reboot comes as the original Baywatch has surged in popularity on digital streaming platforms. Baywatch made its way into the digital era after Fremantle invested in clearing and replacing all the original music, along with remastering and relaunching the show. 'It hadn't been cleared for streaming. The music hadn't been cleared and it was also in standard definition. We made the decision to remaster all episodes into high definition and then clear the music… with a big upfront investment,' McCourt explained. 'It was a big risk that actually paid off 10 times over. Baywatch has sold to every territory and around the world, including to Amazon, Hulu, RTL in Germany, and France TV in France.' At its peak, Baywatch was the most-watched television series in the world, bringing in over one billion viewers each week. The series, which ran from 1989 to 1999, launched the careers of Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, Yasmine Bleeth, and David Hasselhoff. A big budget remake film was released in 2017 starring Zac Efron, Dwayne Johnson, Priyanka Chopra, and Alexandra Daddario. Last year, many of the stars from the original series reunited for a tell-all Hulu documentary called After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun. Among the claims made in the exposé was that the actors were only paid $3,500 per episode. Erika Eleniak, who played lifeguard Shauni McClain from 1989 to 1992, recalled: 'I remember freaking out seeing my first paycheck after the taxes were taken out... how am I gonna live on this money?' Billy Warlock, who played lifeguard Eddie Kramer across the same time frame, added: 'There's not one rich actor on Baywatch. Everybody was disposable and if you didn't fit into their brand at the price they were paying you, you were gone.' Alexandra Paul, who played Lieutenant Stephanie Holden from 1992 to 1997, noted: 'The Baywatch budget was so much smaller than all the other shows that were filming at the time.' Several members of the cast reportedly had to take pay cuts when the NBC show was saved from cancellation in syndication, but David Hasselhoff - who produced and starred as lifeguard Mitch Buchannon from 1989–2000 - enriched himself off the rerun royalties. 'We are blessed to be in this business. We are blessed to have this job. We are blessed to be doing this interview. Why am I doing this documentary?' the 72-year-old veteran TV actor said. 'We're doing this documentary because Baywatch is the gift that keeps on giving. It's given me an incredible life.' One way Baywatch producers cut costs was by padding each episode full of their gratuitous montages full of hard bodies in tiny swimsuits on the beach. Speaking of which, the actresses' small red one-piece swimsuits got skimpier throughout the 12 seasons of Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz, and Gregory J. Bonann's action drama. 'For me, that's when my comfort level went [down],' Eleniak lamented. 'The second year, I felt like necklines plunged.' Kelly Packard - who played lifeguard April Giminski among other roles between 1991–99 - added: 'It was ridiculous. You couldn't even function in it.'

Brian Wilson's touching love story with wife Melinda: How the late Beach Boys singer met his 'savior'

The late Brian Wilson and his wife Melinda Ledbetter had a powerful love story that all began in 1986 at a car dealership. While the couple split three years into their romance as a result of the Beach Boy singer's therapist and then-legal guardian Dr. Eugene Levy, they eventually wed and started a family together. They remained married until Ledbetter's death in January 2024. Just over a year later, on Wednesday, Wilson's children announced his passing at age 82. The couple's inspiring romance even was the subject of the 2015 biopic, Love & Mercy, which starred John Cusack as Brian and Elizabeth Banks as Melinda. 'I remember meeting her at her dealership, Cadillac, and I said, "God, she's a pretty girl,"' Wilson told ABC News during a joint interview with his wife in 2015. 'I just said to myself, "God, I think I'll see her again sometime.' 'That's what attracted me to him,' Ledbetter said. 'He was so nice.' The sale was the fastest Ledbetter had ever conducted, according to Rolling Stone. 'And he bought the ugliest car,' she said with a giggle during a 1999 interview with the magazine with her husband 'Honey, I always thought that was an ugly Seville, that color brown.' 'I liked it,' her husband insisted. At the time, Landy wielded heavy influence over Wilson's life. But Ledbetter was key in assisting Wilson in extricating Landy from his life. Landy, who died in 2006, was barred from any contact with the Beach Boys artist in 1992, a year after Wilson's relatives sued Landy and said that he had 'undue influence' over the musical artist. Landy was the one to call Ledbetter to arrange their first date. His life was pretty choreographed,' she said. 'But I just thought Brian was, like, the sweetest guy I had ever met. I thought, 'I gotta go see what this is all about.' They were together for three years until Landy intervened and ended the romance. 'He was overmedicating Wilson and doing a lot of things that doctors shouldn't do,' Ledbetter recalled to the publication. 'I was questioning things, and that pissed him off. But I had seen something that was so wrong — it was like someone taking a child and abusing them, and none of the neighbors wanted to know about it.' Three years later, after the law intervened to remove Landy from his life, that they reunited. 'I was driving down Pico Boulevard one day and I nearly ran over him,' she recalled of their fateful 1992 reunion. 'He had gone across the street from his studio to sneak a cigarette and I almost hit him, so I stopped and we just started to see each other again. It was like fate.' The relationship between Wilson and Ledbetter was chronicled in a 2014 biopic film titled Love & Mercy. The motion picture examined the Beach Boys singer's past battles with mental illness; and his controversial dealings with his late therapist. Ledbetter said in a 2004 appearance on Larry King that Wilson was largely estranged from his friends, family and colleagues when she met him in the 1980s during his time under Landy's care. She said of Landy, 'He was called into help and I think originally he did help. He helped Brian lose weight. He helped Brian care about himself physically again. 'As time went on, he became very captive of Brian. Brian was primarily a prisoner.' Ledbetter in May of 1998 spoke with The Chicago Tribune about Wilson rebuilding his life after parting ways with Landy, as well as the problematic upbringing he endured. 'He came from an incredibly dysfunctional family,' Ledbetter said. 'His father was abusive, his father was abused. And Brian should have been an abuser too. Instead, Brian just withdrew. He was never involved with his kids.' Ledbetter continued: 'Now, although music is still extremely important to him, he's learned that there's love, family. I just wonder what the music would have been like if he had this sooner, what he could have done if he had a supportive, loving family around him all along.' During their marriage, Brian and Melinda adopted five children together - Dakota Rose, Daria Rose, Delanie Rose, Dylan and Dash. The singer also has daughters Carnie, 57, and Wendy, 55, from his first marriage to Marilyn Rovell. Last year, weeks after the death of Melinda, it emerged that Brian had been diagnosed with a neurocognitive disorder similar to dementia. His children announced their father's death on the singer's official Instagram page this Wednesday, alongside what appeared to be a recent photo. 'We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved father Brian Wilson has passed away. We are at a loss for words right now,' they wrote. 'Please respect our privacy at this time as our family is grieving. We realize that we are sharing our grief with the world. Love & Mercy.'
