Former teen idol Bobby Sherman diagnosed with stage 4 cancer
Brigitte Poublon, his wife of 14 years, shared the news with her husband's 'cherished fans' on Facebook.
'As many of you know, Bobby has been retired for some time and is no longer able to participate in cameos, sign autographs or make appearances,' she wrote. 'It is with a heavy heart that we share Bobby has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. During this challenging time, we kindly ask for your understanding and respect for our privacy.'
Sherman, 81, rose to fame as a teen idol in the 1960s, appearing as a house singer in the musical variety show 'Shindig!' followed by acting roles in series such as 'Here Come the Brides,' 'The Partridge Family' and its short-lived spinoff 'Getting Together.'
From the early '60s to the mid-'70s, he released 10 albums and more than 100 songs, including Top 40 hits like 'Little Woman,' 'Julie, Do Ya Love Me' and 'La La La.'
Though his last onscreen appearance was a cameo as himself in a 1997 episode of 'Frasier,' his music continued to be heard on the soundtracks of multiple movies and TV shows.
Sherman largely left the entertainment industry in the mid-1980s to work in law enforcement. He joined the Los Angeles Police Department, where he taught CPR and other life-saving techniques to incoming academy recruits. He later became a reserve deputy sheriff for San Bernardino County before retiring in 2010.
In 2011, he and his wife co-founded the Brigitte & Bobby Sherman Children's Foundation, with a mission to empower underserved youth in Ghana through education and music.

Priscilla Presley Hits Back At $50 Million Lawsuit Claiming She Let Her Daughter Die
legal drama with her former business partners skyrockets with scathing allegations leveled against her! The media personality, famously known as the ex-wife of the late Elvis Presley, became embroiled in a new lawsuit a year after suing her former business partners for financial elder abuse. The new allegations painted Priscilla Presley as a scheming con artist who made money from the fraudulent use of her name, image, and likeness (NIL). Additionally, the plaintiffs alleged that she influenced and exploited her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley's death. Priscilla Presley Accused Of Exploiting Her Daughter's Death According to the bombshell lawsuit obtained by The Blast, plaintiffs Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko are suing Priscilla for over $50 million in damages. They filed their allegations at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, August 13, accusing Priscilla of exploitation and more. Kruse and Fialko argued that Priscilla had influenced and exploited her daughter's tragic passing. They alleged that she "ignored Lisa's health complaints before she suffered cardiac arrest and later quickly took her off of life support." The plaintiffs' accusations continued with claims of Priscilla using her daughter's death as a smokescreen to reclaim control of the assets she sold and to erase contracts she no longer found convenient. Eventually, Kruse and Fialko became a liability to Priscilla, with the lawsuit alleging she went behind their backs to cut deals before throwing them under the bus with her financial elder abuse claims. The Plaintiffs Claim They Were Wrongfully Deceived Kruse and Fialko explained that their business relationship with Priscilla started in 2022 when she approached them to revitalize her brand and stabilize her dire financial situation. She allegedly owed nearly $700,000 in taxes, was behind on car payments, and was close to insolvency. The plaintiffs claimed they spent seven figures fixing Priscilla's problems, from rebuilding her brand to settling lawsuits and cleaning up multiple private disputes within her family. Their efforts, per the lawsuit, saw Priscilla's event profits increasing from under $10,000 to as much as $50,000 per show. Kruse and Fialko added that they were also instrumental in negotiating the $2.4 million payout Priscilla received during her legal dispute with her granddaughter, Riley Keough, over Lisa Marie Presley's trust. Their alleged services continued with the formation of several companies at Priscilla's request to exploit her NIL. Kruse and Fialko noted that they invested their money, time, and resources into Priscilla because she falsely claimed she had ownership of her NIL. However, she allegedly sold the rights to the last name "Presley" and "Graceland" for $6.5 million in a 2005 secret deal. The King Of Rock And Roll's Ex-Wife Refutes The Allegations Priscilla addressed Kruse and Fialko's allegations through her attorney, Marty Singer. The legal rep told TMZ, the lawsuit was a desperate and fabricated effort to tarnish his client's image, stressing that it was a "disgusting publicity stunt." Singer noted that bringing the late Lisa Marie into the picture was "not savvy advocacy" but a "malicious character assassination" that must be condemned. He added that the late media personality's daughter, Riley Keough, was equally shocked by the false allegations. The attorney claimed Riley "stands behind her grandmother 100% and is equally disgusted with this latest, vicious attempt by Kruse to attempt to ruin her grandmother's life." Singer added that he believed the lawsuit would be dismissed, pointing out that the plaintiffs were on their fourth set of lawyers. The Legal Drama Stemmed From The Media Personality's Financial Abuse Claims The issues between Priscilla and her former business partners surfaced in 2024 when she accused them of financial elder abuse. The Blast covered the story, reporting that she claimed Kruse and Fialko had abused their power over her finances. Priscilla accused them of interfering with her ability to earn a living, claiming they had been spamming her business associates, assistants, and family members with "baseless cease and desist letters." She claimed these letters demanded that people stop doing business with her. Priscilla stressed that Kruse and Fialko were not only sabotaging her professional relationships but had tricked her into signing deals that filled their pockets. She claimed they transferred over $620,000 from her account and demanded $1 million in compensation. Priscilla Presley's Daughter Accused Her Former Partner Of Abuse A year after her tragic passing on January 12, 2023, Lisa Marie's memoir "From Here to the Great Unknown" was released posthumously in October 2024. The Blast reported the book contained shocking allegations against her mother's former partner, actor Mike Edwards. Lisa Marie accused Edwards of molesting her when she was 10, recalling he came into her room at night for an unsolicited sex education. He allegedly touched her chest and between her legs before kissing her, an incident he later apologized for after Priscilla learned about it. Unfortunately, the alleged abuse did not end there, as Edwards would find reasons to spank Lisa Marie and jerk off, per her recollection. Although the actor vehemently denied the claims, he had once confessed to feeling sexually attracted to Lisa Marie. He dropped the shocking revelation in his 1988 book "Elvis, Priscilla and Me." Jennifer Aniston warns of Hollywood safety concerns after man rammed car into her gate
Jennifer Aniston gave a stark warning about safety after a man rammed into her home gate. Aniston, 56, admitted her security team is "not glamorous in any way," in the September cover issue of Vanity Fair. "It's a necessity." "People are out of their minds," she added. "Who wants to put that energy out there?" Authorities arrested a man on May 5 after he rammed his car into the gate securing Aniston's home, the Los Angeles Police Department previously confirmed to Fox News Digital. The "Friends" star was home at the time of the incident. The man was charged with multiple felony charges but found incompetent to stand trial. Before driving his car into Aniston's home gate, he had been sending the actress unwanted voicemail, email and social media messages beginning in 2023. Aniston's close friend Sandra Bullock insisted these terrifying encounters with celebrity stalkers are not just a "one-off." "The Unforgivable" star once hid in her closet after a man, who had been stalking her for days in 2014, successfully broke into her home. Joshua Corbett, who believed Bullock was his wife, carried a notebook that featured photos of the actress along with poems he had written and a love letter. "It makes me think, 'Do I really have to go outside and navigate the world?' There's the cases where they got into the house, the cases where they're outside the house, the cases where you're on a film set, and they figured out where you are, and the cases that no one hears about," Bullock told Vanity Fair. "It's ongoing. It's not a one-off. And it does create a mindset where your home also, unfortunately, becomes your fortress." Aniston isn't a stranger to celebrity stalkers. In 2010, the "Just Go With It" star was granted a restraining order after a man traveled across the country looking for her. He was detained in Los Angeles with a sharp object, duct tape and love letters to Aniston, according to the BBC. "[Fame is] not real. My interests are other than that." The actress revealed her discomfort with the level of attention she's found herself receiving after three successful decades in Hollywood, admitting the fame "still hits me sideways sometimes." "You have to manage it and put it in its proper place and into its proper size. Because otherwise, if you don't… I've gone through many… I'm still trying to figure it out." The "Along Came Polly" star claimed aspects of the job have become embarrassing, including paparazzi. She even chooses not to let fame define her. "It's not real," she told the outlet. "My interests are other than that." "I've always been more into metaphysical things and 'What if there's something bigger out there than all of us?'"

Owner Tammy Kowalyshen told Newsweek via email that her dog, Marshi, is obsessed with the bathtub. It doesn't matter whether it's filled with water or not; you can find Marshi in and around the tub, but he especially loves splashing and a splashing. "He loves splashing and trying to get the tub stopper out," she said. "He constantly jumps in and out of the tub all day." Teresa Young Our first finalist for this week is a 13-year-old Chihuahua named Pinky, who has been with her owner, Teresa Young, since she was just a 3-month-old pup. Young told Newsweek via email that Pinky was the runt of the litter. She barely weighed a pound as Young scooped the pup's entire body into her hand. Now, she's full of character, bossy, loving and sweet. "I started training her the day I got her," she said. "I'm a runner, and she would go for long runs with me." Despite her senior age, Pinky still enjoys her walks with Young, and on occasion, she'll have a "spark" and do a tiny run. The 20-month-old dog has already earned honorable titles, including International and National Champion and American Kennel Club Champion. Vaughan said he'll be a "serious contender" for the Westminster Dog Show in 2027. But on the side, Crew helps with the Los Angeles Police Department's Blue Line Therapy Dog Team, providing emotional support and comfort to officers and civilians as part of the department's wellness program. Crew serves as part of LAPD's Blue Line Therapy Dog Team, crisis canines, and visits many other groups that benefit from these wonderful dogs and their handlers.
