Leo Cullen makes three changes to team for Glasgow Warriors URC semi-final
Following on from last weekend's 33-21 win over Scarlets in the quarter-finals, Cullen has decided to shift Jimmy O'Brien to full-back as Tommy O'Brien comes in on the wing, while Scott Penny has been named at openside flanker and Dan Sheehan gets the nod at hooker
Jack Conan captains the side yet ahain, with Ryan Baird taking the six shirt alongside Penny in the back row. Joe McCarthy and James Ryan continue their partnership in the engine room while Andrew Porter and Thomas Clarkson will line up either side of Sheehan in the scrum.
Jamison Gibson-Park and Sam Prendergast are the halfbacks with Jamie Osborne and Jordie Barrett continuing in the centres. Having scored against Scarlets last weekend, James Lowe is again selected on the left wing and moves within two tries of equalling Shane Horgan's club record of 69 tries for Leinster.
Leinster Senior Coach Jacques Nienaber said: "It's a privilege for any team to be involved in the knockout stages.
"It's a privilege for us definitely to be testing ourselves against Glasgow this weekend, the reigning champions, who obviously understand how to play knockout games if you look at what they did last year. It's a privilege to test ourselves against a quality side like that."
Rónan Kelleher is joined by Jack Boyle and Rabah Slimani on the bench, with Max Deegan and BKT URC Players' Player of the Season RG Snyman providing reinforcements in reserve.
Luke McGrath and Ciarán Frawley are also named among the replacements alongside Ross Byrne, who will be making his final appearance at Aviva Stadium for Leinster ahead of his move to Gloucester this summer after a decade of service
The 22-times capped Ireland international has scored 1,194 points in 184 appearances in blue to date and will hope to add to that total on Saturday.
Glasgow Warriors Head Coach Franco Smith added: 'Leinster are the standard setters in this competition.
"They finished top of the standings for a reason, and have consistently out-performed teams across the course of this season while showing their strength in depth.
'It is a challenge that we know we will need to be at our best to meet, and the players are focused on the task at hand.

Profits at Johnny Sexton management firm surge by €425,952 to €2.67m
The management company owned by former Ireland rugby captain Johnny Sexton recorded post tax profits of €425,952 last year. Sexton retired from playing during the year under review in October 2023 following the Rugby World Cup and new accounts filed by Sexton's JAS Management & Promotions Ltd show that it recorded bumper profits for the 12 months to the end of September last. The €425,952 post tax profit followed a post tax loss of €83,240 in the prior year - a positive swing of €509,192. The profit for last year resulted in the firm sitting on accumulated profits of €2.67m at the end of September last. Cash funds at the company last year more than halved from €1.3m to €554,744 while during the same period, the value of the company's financial assets increased by €1.22m from €881,826 to €2.11m. The accounts - signed off by directors, Johnny Sexton and wife Laura Sexton on August 6 - show that aggregate pay to directors last year decreased sharply from €322,334 to €238,606 made up of emoluments of €63,759 and pension contributions of €174,856. Sexton added to his company's coffers in the current financial year with sales from his "Obsessed: The Autobiography" by Johnny Sexton which was the biggest selling non-fiction book of 2024 in Ireland. The paperback release of the book - which won Eason Sports Book of the Year at An Post's 2024 Irish Book Awards - in May of this year resulted in a fresh surge in sales. Sexton also benefited from the Government's innovative tax relief programme - introduced in 2002 - for professional sportspeople which allows them to receive a generous tax refund in the year they retire permanently from their sport. After retiring from the game in October 2023 following Ireland's World Cup loss to New Zealand, Sexton took up a senior role with glass bottle and tin-can maker Ardagh. However earlier this year, Sexton was added to the British and Irish Lions coaching ticket ahead of taking up a full time coaching role with Ireland rugby team this month as well as working with men's and women's senior and age-grade teams. The former Leinster out-half had been working with the Ireland men's squad in a part-time coaching capacity since the 2024 Autumn Nations Series. Sexton, a former World Rugby Player of the Year, was appointed Ireland captain by Andy Farrell in January 2020. Sexton is one of Irish Rugby's most decorated players and led Ireland to a Grand Slam in 2023 and won four European Rugby Champions Cups with Leinster.

He noted: "The CCC based it on what went on on that weekend last year. "We had requests coming in from all over the place and everybody wanting to play their matches on a certain day at a certain time. "So we just had the weekend free in the calendar. "Unfortunately, we were out of our inter-county championships earlier than we had hoped this year and we just had the weekend to play with and we said we'd put it in then." 'From a Kildare point of view, their progress has risen so quick up the ladder that they can only get better. "Now, have they got the skill levels? Have they got the drive to stay up at that level? Or is this just a pop up and a pop back down? 'But I think Kildare, naturally the club in Naas are producing top-class hurlers but yeah, Kildare are going to be a threat to Wexford as well. "They're great hurlers, but the level we're at, I wouldn't be surprised if Kildare could even beat us."

GAA club wish 'speedy recovery' to legend as retirement U-turn ends in injury
Kildare legend Johnny Doyle came out of retirement at the weekend to help his club's bid to avoid relegation from the senior ranks - but ended up in hospital. The evergreen 47 year old, whose steady hand guided Allenwood to Kildare and Leinster intermediate titles in late 2023, hung up his boots at the end of last season after 30 years of adult football, having first lined out for the club all the way back in 1995. But with Allenwood struggling this year and without a victory in their 11 league games, All Star forward Doyle answered an SOS and leapt to his club's aid. Doyle returned for the Kildare SFC preliminary round encounter with Clogherinkoe. However, he failed to appear for the second half after sustaining what appeared to be a serious shoulder injury which required hospital treatment. Allenwood lost the game by a point, 3-11 to 1-16, after being 13 points down at half-time in a match where a win would have secured their senior status. Doyle was part of the last Kildare side to win a Leinster SFC, back in 2000 and won an All Star in 2014, before announcing his inter-county retirement in 2014. He also holds a Kildare Senior Championship medal from 2004. Allenwood now enter the losers section of the group stages with relegation from senior football still a possibility, and Doyle unlikely to appear again this year. The club posted on 'X' to say: 'A speedy recovery to the great JD! Always there to answer the call when his club needs him.'
