Communications startup Proto Hologram could have stuck with broadcasting holograms of celebrities into places like concerts and airports; instead, founder David Nussbaum brought the technology to health care. The Los Angeles-based company now beams holograms of real doctors to clinics in rural areas, helping cut down on travel time while ensuring patients get a more realistic image of their provider during virtual appointments. Nussbaum is the driving force behind Proto, touted as the world's first holographic communications platform, which was certified HIPAA compliant this spring. 'Nothing is more important than connecting with your doctor in person to create that emotional, physical connection, especially when you're talking about something as important as cancer or Parkinson's or some life altering news,' he says.
Proto also offers translation services into nearly 300 languages, making it possible for doctors to talk to foreign-language-speaking patients without an interpreter. Nussbaum envisions holograms becoming as ubiquitous as iPhones, and even being used in facilities like nursing homes so that older people can have realistic interactions with far away loved ones. When he started in the business, projecting a hologram could cost up to a million dollars, but as it develops he's bringing prices down: the first unit he sold was $90,000, and the current product runs $24,900 plus a $5,000 per year software fee. Nussbaum's goal, he says, is a consumer product that costs under $1,000 and that 'will essentially allow anybody, for any reason, to beam anywhere.'

Why Law Firms Are Adopting Custom CRM Development Services in USA

The legal industry, traditionally known for relying on paper trails and legacy systems, is undergoing a digital transformation. At the forefront of this change is the widespread adoption of CRM development services — not just any CRM software, but custom-built CRM solutions tailored specifically for law firms. In the United States, legal practices of all sizes are now recognizing the value of customized CRM platforms to streamline operations, manage client relationships, and stay competitive in an evolving legal landscape. In this article, we explore why law firms are rapidly embracing CRM development services, the benefits they offer, and why a custom solution often outperforms off-the-shelf alternatives. CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems were once considered tools primarily used by sales and marketing teams. However, the scope of CRM has evolved significantly. For law firms, a CRM system is more than just a digital address book—it's a central hub for managing client interactions, case progress, communications, and even billing workflows. The need for CRM development services has grown alongside rising client expectations. Today's clients want transparency, faster responses, and personalized communication. Law firms that continue relying on spreadsheets or generic software are often unable to meet those demands efficiently. Off-the-shelf CRM platforms like Salesforce or Zoho are powerful—but they're also generalized. Law firms have unique workflows, client confidentiality requirements, and compliance standards that generic CRMs often can't address without significant (and expensive) customizations. That's where custom CRM development services come in. A bespoke CRM is built from the ground up to serve the specific needs of your legal practice. Whether you're a personal injury attorney, corporate law firm, or immigration specialist, a custom CRM aligns with your operational style and internal processes. At the heart of every law firm is the attorney-client relationship. Custom CRMs help firms store comprehensive client data, case histories, documents, and communication logs in one secure location. With the right CRM in place, attorneys can provide faster responses, personalized updates, and better service overall. Legal practices involve countless repetitive tasks—like sending appointment reminders, updating case statuses, or generating invoices. CRM development services integrate automation tools that reduce administrative burden and free up valuable billable hours for attorneys. Custom CRMs are often equipped with secure document sharing, storage, and version control. This means teams can collaborate on case files without worrying about data leaks or breaches. Developers in the USA are well-versed in meeting compliance standards such as HIPAA or ABA data handling guidelines. A custom CRM can log every email, call, and message associated with a case or client. This ensures seamless communication, even if multiple attorneys or paralegals are working on the same file. No more scrambling through emails or searching through folders. Modern law firms want data-driven insights. How many cases did we close this quarter? What's our average billing rate per client? Which referral source is most effective? Custom CRMs can be built with dashboard views and analytics tailored to firm goals and KPIs. While CRM developers are available globally, many U.S. law firms are choosing to work with developers based locally for a few important reasons: Compliance with U.S. legal data protection laws Easier collaboration in the same time zone Experience working with other U.S.-based law firms Familiarity with ABA and state-specific practice regulations Choosing CRM experts within the USA ensures that your solution is not only functionally efficient but also legally compliant and culturally aligned with your firm's needs. A family law firm in Chicago partnered with a CRM development service provider to streamline its intake and communication process. Previously, new client information was tracked manually, leading to missed follow-ups and errors. After implementing a custom CRM: Client onboarding time was reduced by 50% Follow-up emails and appointment scheduling were automated Case progress tracking became accessible to all team members The result? Happier clients and a more efficient practice. If you're considering investing in CRM development services, here are some must-have features for your legal CRM: Contact and case database Document management system Task and deadline tracking Billing and invoicing modules Email and SMS integration Role-based access controls Audit trails for compliance Analytics and reporting dashboard Each of these can be tailored by experienced developers to match your practice's size, structure, and legal specialty. In today's fast-paced, client-centric world, law firms must evolve beyond manual processes and outdated tools. CRM development services offer legal professionals the power to manage cases, clients, and operations more effectively—and with greater control over security, customization, and scalability. By investing in a CRM designed specifically for their needs, law firms across the USA are setting themselves apart from the competition and preparing for sustainable long-term growth. How Costly is Air Duct Cleaning in Hamilton

What Determines the Cost of Air Duct Cleaning Hamilton? Being a Hamiltonian, you have probably wondered how much you are supposed to pay for your ducts to be cleaned professionally. The cost depends on the size of your home, the state of your ventilation system, and even the company you outsource. While others might be thinking it's a simple service, there are a number of things going their way. To help you further make an informed decision, let's cover all that you need to know regarding Duct Cleaning Hamilton. Why Is Air Duct Cleaning Significant for Hamilton Residences? Why would Hamilton homeowners even go through the trouble of duct cleaning at all? The solution really comes down to how your HVAC system works. As time passes, dust, allergens, mold spores, and even small pieces of debris fill up air ducts. In addition to lowering air quality, it can make your system work harder, which means your energy bill will rise. Cleaning your ducts relieves the excess burden from your heating and cooling system and makes your home environment healthier. What are the problems caused by dirty air ducts? The most common problems are low airflow, non-stop allergy attacks, and strange odors traveling all over the house. In most instances, families also notice excessive dust, mold pet dander buildup, clogged vents, poor ventilation, and inefficient HVAC performance. Other issues include strange noises coming from your ductwork, unbalanced room temperatures, and heightened asthma or respiratory conditions. Neglecting these issues can shorten the lifespan of your system and lead to costly repairs in the future. What Are the Main Advantages of Regular Duct Cleaning? The most obvious advantages are a cleaner indoor air, reduced allergens, and reduced chance of mold contamination. Furthermore, the occupants get more airflow, lower energy bills, improved efficiency of the furnace, cleaner vents, odor-free units, longer HVAC lifespan, and less furniture dust. According to one of the Hamilton-based HVAC professionals: 'Think of duct cleaning like giving your system a fresh start.'.
