DUBAI (WAM) The Museum of the Future has announced a new lineup of insightful talks and interactive workshops taking place throughout the month of May.Covering a diverse range of topics including the future of finance, regulation, governance, and the future of wellness, these activations reflect the museum's ongoing commitment to fostering innovation and serving as a dynamic hub for knowledge exchange.Participants will engage in enriching learning experiences led by distinguished experts and specialists.On May 15, the Museum of the Future will host an insightful talk on the future of digital finance, taking place on the 'Future Today' floor. A panel of leading experts in digital assets will discuss global trends and key regulatory shifts shaping the future finance landscape in the UAE.This session is tailored for investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, students, and fintech enthusiasts.It will provide a dynamic platform for exchanging insights, addressing pressing challenges, and uncovering new opportunities within this rapidly evolving sector.Renowned historian Dr. Roy Casagranda will continue his lecture series 'Lessons from the Past at Museum of the Future,' with a captivating interactive session titled 'Decoding Systems: Exploring Nations and Governance' taking place on May 22.Dr. Casagranda will delve into how systems operate and evolve across history.Through compelling storytelling and deep analysis, Dr. Casagranda will draw meaningful connections between the past, the present and the future.On May 25, the Museum of the Future will host a two-hour interactive workshop exploring the transformative power of gratitude.

14 Aug 2025 14:47 DUBAI (ALETIHAD)Dubai Police have enhanced their renowned fleet of luxury patrol vehicles with the addition of the new Audi RS7 move underscores their commitment to improving security and safety by adopting cutting-edge technologies and continuously upgrading their world-class tourist patrol fleet in collaboration with strategic unveiling ceremony took place at Dubai's iconic Museum of the Future, led by Major General Eid Muhammad Thani, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, and Major General Rashid Al Falasi, Director of the General Department of Transport and Rescue. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, had a special guest at high-level meeting in Dubai's Union House on Wednesday - a humanoid robot! In a video posted by national news agency Wam, the Unitree G1 robot by Dubai Future Labs was seen interacting with Sheikh Mohammed before meeting other officials in the majlis. He noted that over 131,000 wealthy individuals settled in the UAE by 2024, up from 116,000 in 2023, with a further rise expected this year. He added that, driven by visionary leadership, Dubai welcomed 9.88 million visitors in the first half of 2025 and is now seen as the world's top destination to live, work, and visit. Sheikh Mohammed also highlighted the UAE's continued progress in building a distinctive development model based on openness, competitiveness and support for entrepreneurship.
