Gainsborough e-bike rider stabbed man in back as he rode past
The victim, who is in his 40s, had been walking along Trinity Street with his partner between 00:10 and 00:30 when Emmingham rode past on an e-bike several times while making threats to assault him.They changed course, but Emmingham returned and rode up behind the victim on a footpath by Dickenson Terrace.He stabbed him in the back before riding off.Police were called at 00:36 BST and found the victim with a stab wound in the middle of his back. He was treated in hospital.Emmingham was tracked down to a property in Bob Rainsforth Way, about a mile and a half away, and arrested.Lincolnshire Police said it worked with West Lindsey District Council to gather evidence from CCTV footage.

Man charged with murder of father and son near London Bridge
A man has been charged with the murder of a father and son who were fatally stabbed at a business near London Bridge. Terry McMillan, 58, and Brendan McMillan, 27, died following the incident near the office of housing provider Trademark Homes in Long Lane, Bermondsey two weeks ago. A 47-year-old man was also stabbed and badly injured, while a fourth man, Hassan Cevik, 31, also sustained stab wounds and was admitted to hospital shortly Cevik was discharged from hospital on Saturday and later charged with two counts of murder, grievous bodily harm and carrying an offensive weapon. Mr Cevik, of Mount Pleasant Lane, Hackney, is due to appear before Croydon Magistrates officers and paramedics were called to Long Lane to reports of a multiple stabbing at about 13:00 BST on 28 McMillan died at the scene, while his father died later in hospital. They were from Chislehurst in south-east London.

Body of pregnant woman tragically discovered in plastic storage bin
Two men in Ohio have been arrested after police found a pregnant woman's body stuffed inside a plastic tote on the side of the road. Jackson Township police said they received a call just before 8pm on August 3 that a bad smell was emanating from a cooler along Fort Anthony Road, the Dayton Daily News reports. 'I didn't want to open it,' one 911 caller said, according to WHIO. 'The smell was so bad, you know, I mean there's a difference between dead smells and this is not a normal dead smell.' When officers then arrived at the scene, they found a plastic tote stuffed behind a dirt hill with the lid screwed on. Inside was the body of 28-year-old Brittany Fuhr-Storms, wrapped in a towel and a tarp. An ensuing autopsy then determined that Fuhr-Storms had been pregnant, and the unborn child did not survive. After searching the victim's last known address, police were led to an apartment in Middletown, where it is believed Fuhr-Storms visited two men and later died. There, authorities found a suspected blood stain on the carpet, a blue tarp, wooden screws and a set of towels that matched the description of the ones found with Fuhr-Storms' body. The lessee, James R Rothenbusch, 52, was then detained at the scene as police collected drug paraphernalia from his residence. Upon questioning, police say Rothenbusch admitted to drug trafficking and said Fuhr-Storms died at his home under 'suspicious circumstances.' He also told police was left in the shower for around four days before it was disposed of. A second suspect, Ricky J. Sheppard, 47, was also found nearby and allegedly tried to run as police approached him. 'Sheppard attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended and detained,' deputies said, according to Fox 19. 'He later stated that the deceased died from an alleged overdose and she remained in the house for approximately a week before being removed.' Both of the suspects said they knew the 28 year old was pregnant at the time of her death, deputies noted. Rothenbusch is now facing felony charges of corrupting another with drugs specific to a pregnant woman, tampering with evidence, gross abuse of a corpse, trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs. He is also facing misdemeanor charges of failure to report a crime or death and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sheppard, meanwhile, is charged with gross abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Chief of Staff Jeremy Roy praised local law enforcement for coming together to nab the suspects. 'Everybody dropped everything as they should when you find out that a mother-to-be was just dumped on the side of the road,' he said. 'You don't always get that cooperation all the time around the US and in Ohio, but in this case you kind of have to tip your hat.' Yet questions about Fuhr-Storms' death remains, as police say tests are still pending from the coroner's office even as her family raises money for her funeral. Many neighbors are now left shocked and confused. 'I had no clue,' Cody Lewis told Fox 19. 'I had no clue something like that was happening right next door. 'It was surprising.'

Horror after 'pioneering' house painter is found dead in her home in 'quiet' suburb - as her partner is arrested
A woman has been found dead inside her home, while her partner has been arrested, with neighbours left shocked by discovery in their quiet suburb. House painter Zoe Walker, 38, was found inside her home on Seaby Avenue at Upper Ferntree Gully, in Melbourne 's east, just before 8am on Sunday. Her partner Daniel Horanyi, 46, was arrested at the scene and will be interviewed by detectives. Ms Walker died nine years after she lost her younger brother Tyson in 2016. Her father Robert Walker described his daughter as 'full of life' and revealed that she ran a small business called Zoe's Painting. 'She was a pioneer in her field,' he told 7News. 'She struggled on in her trade, which is hard for women to be in. 'Every job, even the ones she wasn't familiar with, she had to prove herself, whereas other males didn't have too and she had to struggle, but she did it.' One local described the area as 'quiet' while another said they were 'shocked' by the news. 'I have never seen a police car. Never heard any noise,' he said. 'I never heard the police cars arrive. It was only when I went out about 3.30pm or 4pm that I saw the police cars were there with the tape.' Mr Walker said his daughter had been working hard every day to 'pay her mortgage'. In July, Ms Walker celebrated her graduation from Swinburne University of Technology, where she completed a Certificate III in General Construction (Painting and Decorating). 'Qualified since 2014 through apprenticeships,' she wrote. 'How times have changed!'
