Emmerdale confirms first arrest in Nate story in ITVX release
The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn't aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX.
Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) has been arrested in Emmerdale.
The character was told a few days ago that Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) had been found dead at the bottom of the lake. Reeling in the aftermath, it didn't take Tracy very long to accuse Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) of killing his son.
This was because Cain and Nate had a major fight shortly before he was killed. At the time, Cain believed the rumour that Nate was sleeping with Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) again, but it wasn't true.
Cain attacked Nate so brutally Tracy thought he was going to kill him. It's this moment that Tracy has kept in her mind since she learnt about her partner, convinced Cain murdered Nate shortly after the fight.
Cain and a few others now believe that Tracy might be pointing the finger elsewhere as a deflection tactic. She was questioned yesterday after Nate's phone was found in Frankie's playhouse, and the same thing happened again tonight.
DS Walsh revealed to Tracy that Nate was definitely killed the day he was meant to go to Shetland, and she needed confirmation of what Tracy was doing that day. She immediately created an alibi, saying she was with Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) and their children.
Walsh made her way to the vets a few hours later to find Vanessa. When she asked her to match Tracy's story, there was an element of hesitancy and doubt.
Meanwhile, Cain (Jeff Hordley) was being supported in the pub by the likes of Liam (Jonny McPherson) and Charles (Kevin Mathurin). It took him a little while, but he eventually came to accept that the two men are just trying to look out for him, as they've both lost children themselves.
Cain, Charles, Liam and then Moira (Natalie J Robb), Ruby (Beth Cordingly), Aaron (Danny Miller) and John (Oliver Farnworth) all decided to raise a glass to those they've lost – but the moving moment was interrupted by Tracy.

Tracy was furious to see Cain with his friends and family, and reckoned he was just playing everyone. As her anger grew, Ruby decided to press Tracy's buttons. More Trending
A fight broke out between the two women, but it stopped when DS Walsh arrived. She had come to arrest Tracy, due to her weak alibi.
As Tracy was led away she screamed at Vanessa, adamant lives had been ruined because she told a bad lie.
And John? He was sat in the pub, watching the chaos unfold, and not doing a single thing about it.

Jamie Borthwick's EastEnders job 'at serious risk' over Strictly disabled slur
EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick recently apologised for using a disabled slur. It has been reported his job at the soap is at risk over the scandal EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick's job at the long-running soap is reportedly at risk after he used a derogatory term about disabled people. The 30-year-old actor, who has appeared on EastEnders since 2006, in which he plays Jay Brown, reportedly used offensive language in a video that was allegedly shared with friends. It was reported that the star was recorded using a derogatory word to describe locals in Blackpool, where BBC show Strictly Come Dancing filmed a glitzy live episode from the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. The word he used is a derogatory term regarded as a disabled slur. The star sparked condemnation from the disability charity Scope and a local politician in Blackpool. It is reported that footage was made of Jamie using the word, which was then sent to one of his friends. He has since issued a grovelling apology for using the offensive slur. An insider claimed how his character hasn't been part of a 'central role in the show for a while'. He recently issued a grovelling apology which had been shared by The Sun on Sunday, stating: 'I want to apologise sincerely and wholeheartedly for the words I used in the video showing my reaction to making it through Blackpool week on Strictly. 'I am deeply sorry for any offence and upset my words and actions have caused. It is no excuse, but I did not fully understand the derogatory term I used and its meaning. That is on me completely. 'Now I am aware, I am deeply embarrassed to have used the term and directed it in the way I did. It was wrong." He went on to issue an apology to the people of Blackpool and reiterate his regret over his words. After the publication claimed that he was suspended from EastEnders, a BBC spokesperson told The Mirror: "This language is entirely unacceptable and in no way reflects the values or standards we hold and expect at the BBC. Lisa reassures Betsy as past character's Corrie return confuses everything
Betsy Swain attempted to do some investigating (Picture: ITV) Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) was on a mission in tonight's Coronation Street as she tried to find answers regarding the life her mum lived before she died. Lisa Swain's (Vicky Myers) ex-partner Becky was also a copper, but she apparently died after being hit by a car. This week, Lisa told Carla Connor (Alison King) more about Becky's life as a police officer. She said that, before her death, Becky was being investigated by the anti-corruption unit, and Lisa was keen to keep that information from her daughter. Lisa emotionally opened up about how she and Becky had fought over the allegations the day Becky was killed, and though the investigation was dropped, she didn't get the funeral she deserved. Betsy and Lauren headed to the station (Picture: ITV) Lisa attempted to talk to Betsy about her mum, but when Betsy insisted that she hadn't read the letter because she wasn't interested in knowing who her sperm donor was, Lisa decided to keep quiet about what the letter was really about. She confessed that she was convinced Becky's hit and run had been a coverup of some sort, and asked Lauren for her help in getting to the bottom of things. The smug character told her that it would cost her, and Betsy was happy to pay him from her trust fund. Logan span a story to Betsy but laughed at the end, revealing it was just a massive wind up. Back at the flat, Betsy confessed to her mum that she went to see Logan for answers. Lisa did her best to reassure her daughter, noting that the investigation into Becky potentially being corrupt was dropped. As much as she would like to know more about her other mum, Betsy is also very accepting of Lisa's new partner Carla. Towards the end of the episode, the couple surprised Betsy and revealed that they are going to buy a bigger place together, and she loved the idea.
