Akhil Akkineni, Nagarjuna's younger son, is all set to marry Zainab Ravdjee. The two got engaged last November, just before Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's wedding. Since then, they've been in the spotlight, and now fans are even more excited as their wedding date has finally been confirmed.
The actor will marry Zainab Ravdjee on June 6, 2025. Reports say that wedding preparations are in full swing. The couple plans to exchange vows in the presence of close family members, friends, and prominent personalities from the film and political worlds.
According to reports, Akhil might get married at his family-owned Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. There's also talk that it could be a destination wedding in Rajasthan. However, neither Akhil nor the Akkineni family has officially confirmed anything yet.
The wedding is expected to be a private event, similar to Akhil's brother Naga Chaitanya's ceremony. But there are rumours it might be a destination wedding, with a big reception later in Hyderabad if they choose another place. Akhil Akkineni's future wife, Zainab Ravdjee, is a talented artist famous for her beautiful and abstract paintings. She is the daughter of well-known industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee. Born in Hyderabad and now living in Mumbai, the 39-year-old artist has balanced her creative work with a short acting career. She acted in MF Hussain's film Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities alongside Tabu and Kunal Kapoor, playing the role of Naghma's friend.
Nagarjuna first shared the news of Akhil and Zainab's engagement on social media last year. Posting heartfelt photos of the couple dressed in white, he expressed his joy, saying, 'We are thrilled to announce the engagement of our son, @AkhilAkkineni8, to our daughter-in-law-to-be Zainab Ravdjee!
