British Paralympian missing in Las Vegas for two weeks found safe
Sam Ruddock, 35, was reported missing last Thursday. His mother, Fran Ruddock, said he was attending WrestleMania 41 in Paradise.
The gold medalist from Rugby, Warwickshire, travelled to the US on April 13 to attend the tournament.

His friend, Chris Graves, told Metro earlier today: 'We just want to know that he's safe, that's the bottom line really.
'There's been no direct contact with him or any social media activity since April 16. There's just so many options of what the situation could be that we just want to know he's safe.'
The ParalympicsGB athlete's last known movement had been riding in an Austin-Healey sports car with an American man he seemed to have just met, with a point-of-view video of the journey posted on his Instagram channel on the day he went missing. https://www.instagram.com/p/DIhOSDMo3-p/?hl=en
Staff at a hostel where he was staying said he had not checked out and has left his belongings in his room.

The fugitive faces trial on five offences – including reckless driving and two counts of wounding – with prosecutors demanding a four-year prison sentence if convicted. His ongoing case has been suspended until he is tracked down and extradited. Three other people standing just feet away only escaped by sprinting out of the car's path as it veered towards them. Police said the victims had no involvement in the row that preceded the hit-and-run and were simply 'in the wrong place at the wrong time.' Miraculously, both survived without serious injury. It is understood Hulme had stormed off following a bust-up with another Brit after their partners reportedly clashed. Moments later, he allegedly ploughed into the innocent pair in his hire car before speeding away. During his first court appearance, he reportedly claimed he hadn't meant to run anyone over and blamed his poor vision on someone 'spraying him in the eyes with an aerosol.' As part of his bail, Hulme was ordered to register his contact details with court officials and notify them of any move. But after failing to comply, a judge declared him in contempt and issued an international arrest warrant. A Spanish police spokesman confirmed at the time: 'A British man who was on holiday in Majorca has been arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide following an early-hours hit-and-run incident in Magaluf. 'He was held at nearby Son Matias beach after a police search for him and his vehicle. 'The incident was preceded by some sort of argument that is still under investigation. 'One of the people hurt was a Polish woman and the other a British man. Both were also on holiday in the area.' The case echoes a string of violent incidents involving Brits in Magaluf. In 2019, Brit Max Barnes, 25, also went AWOL after being bailed for a bottle attack on a nightclub bouncer. He was eventually tracked down and handed an 18-month suspended sentence after paying his victim £35,000. And in 2018, Manchester woman Kemi Coaker, then 30, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after running over her ex's new girlfriend in a hate-fuelled rage. State sends National Guard members to Washington at Trump team's request
Governor Patrick Morrisey said in a post on Saturday on X that he was deploying '300-400 skilled personnel' from the West Virginia National Guard to support Mr Trump's 'initiative to make DC safe and beautiful'. Mr Morrisey said the step reflects 'our commitment to a strong and secure America'. They will arrive in the District of Columbia along with equipment and specialised training services, his office said in a statement. 'West Virginia is proud to stand with President Trump in his effort to restore pride and beauty to our nation's capital,' Mr Morrisey said. 'The men and women of our National Guard represent the best of our state, and this mission reflects our shared commitment to a strong and secure America.' The move comes as federal agents and National Guard troops have begun to appear across the heavily Democratic city after Mr Trump's executive order on Monday federalising local police forces and activating about 800 DC National Guard troops for his plan. Maj Gen James Seward, West Virginia's adjutant general, said in a statement that members of the state's National Guard 'stand ready to support our partners in the National Capital Region' and that the Guard's 'unique capabilities and preparedness make it an invaluable partner in this important undertaking.'
