Al-Samai: Yemeni women have confronted soft war and systematic targeting by aggression
A member of the Supreme Political Council, Sultan Al-Sami'i, stressed that Yemeni women have confronted the soft war and the systematic targeting by the aggression, to break their will, pointing to their essential role in building society and protecting the homeland.
This came in a statement on the occasion of International Women's Day, where Al-Samai congratulated Arab and international women, especially Yemeni, Palestinian and Lebanese women, praising the sacrifices of the mothers of the martyrs.
Al-Samai pointed out that celebrating women is not just an occasion, but rather a recognition of their status and active role in building civilizations, stressing that societies can only integrate the efforts of men and women.
He also stressed the importance of enhancing the role of Yemeni women and empowering them in various fields to ensure their participation in decision-making and contribute to construction and development.
Al-Samai stressed that Yemeni women deserve appreciation despite the difficulties they face as a result of the aggression and blockade, praising their honorable positions in supporting stability in various sectors.
