Kaizer Chiefs won't RUSH Rushwin back to action

Rushwin Dortley was cruelly ruled out of the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery. Kaizer Chiefs won't rush their star defender back.
In March 2025, Rushwin Dortley underwent knee surgery to address an issue that was far more serious than initially thought. There are no specifics on a timeframe for his recovery, but it's unlikely we'll see him play any competitive football before September. Still, the player will feel that the worst is over. It's also not uncommon for players to become more resilient and mentally tough after serious setbacks so early in their careers. Dortley will almost certainly miss the start of the 2025-2026 campaign as the club looks to err on the side of caution. Their reward will be a fully fit and motivated Rushwin Dortley.
