JoJo Siwa spills on late-night bedroom antics with Chris Hughes that never aired on ITV

Daily Mirror29-04-2025
Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa has revealed that several intimate late-night interactions with fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chris Hughes were never shown on TV
JoJo Siwa has lifted the lid on intimate moments from the Celebrity Big Brother house that didn't make it to air - including some cryptic handwritten messages shared with fellow contestant Chris Hughes.
Appearing on The Useless Hotline Podcast, the Dance Moms alum confessed that what fans saw was only part of the story. According to JoJo, she and Chris exchanged a series of secret messages under the cover of darkness - far more than what viewers might expect.

'In those first few nights, we were just chatting for fun,' JoJo recalled. 'I don't really remember the exact word or words I scribbled, but I can tell you this: I wrote a lot more than people think. There was a whole hand conversation going on that night - not just four letters.'

Curious fans have been trying to decode the brief message seen on camera, but JoJo insists they're missing the bigger picture. 'People keep asking, 'What were the four letters? What did you mean?' And I'm like, 'No, no, no, babe.''
This low-key method of communication didn't go unnoticed. The Big Brother team penalised JoJo and Chris for the rule-breaking stunt by forcing them to communicate only through megaphones for a period of time.
In the Diary Room, JoJo was asked directly what she had written on Chris's hand. Her response was strikingly candid: 'It's something that I'm not ready necessarily to be open about or upfront about but it has to do with gender and how do I feel.'
She elaborated, visibly wrestling with her thoughts. 'Let's put it this way. Oh my God, this is a lot. Essentially, you have female, you have male. I've met a lot of females and love them but don't feel like I'm them. Met a lot of males, love them but definitely not them.'

Then came her revelation. 'I've met a lot of people in my life that are non-binary and these beautiful non-binary people are who I feel the most like. It's not something that I want to say about myself yet but it's something that is confusing. So, that's probably why we were talking about it last night.'
The show's response was compassionate. 'JoJo, thank you for being so honest and sharing with Big Brother,' the voice of Big Brother told her.
It comes after Chris hit back after trolls branded his 11-year age gap with JoJo as "creepy". Chris, 32, and JoJo, 21, have been at the centre of romance rumours since forming a close friendship inside the Big Brother house - which involved intimacies such as massages and forehead kisses.

The pair have continued to see each other since the show's final on Friday, which has fuelled further speculation about the nature of their relationship. Chris found himself the target of online abuse after JoJo was spotted leaving the UK yesterday wearing his clothes. A troll commented under a photo of them playing tennis, claiming their friendship was "inappropriate".
Chris quickly fired back, saying: "I have friends who are 50+ too, you weirdo." Despite all the speculation, both JoJo and Chris have insisted their bond is purely platonic.
During an appearance on This Morning Chris explained: "It's just a really strong bond between two people, which is just a strong friendship. And I think you can have like a soulmate friendship. And to me it's like that energy of where it's not like the standard friendship that you have with your friends. But you know it's still a friendship, and it's just nice."

MasterChef's Gregg Wallace 'ruins' chance of redemption after 'slipping at first hurdle'

EXCLUSIVE: Gregg Wallace was given the boot from BBC cooking show MasterChef last month, following the result of an inquiry into alleged misconduct Gregg Wallace may have already ruined his "only route to redemption" following his exit from MasterChef last month, according to a celebrity PR expert. In November 2024, the 60-year-old took a break away from the BBC programme after 13 individuals came forward with accusations about inappropriate sexual remarks against him, spread over 17 years. ‌ Speaking the following month, Gregg claimed the complaints were made by "a handful of middle-class women of a certain age", a remark he later apologised for. ‌ During his absence from screens, 50 more people accused him of uncomfortable encounters across various shows and locations, according to BBC News. ‌ Following an inquiry into these allegations, the presenter was axed from the show after 20 years last month. Speaking to The Sun shortly after, the broadcaster said he is "so sorry" to anyone hurt by his behaviour, but claimed he is "not a groper, a sex pest or a flasher". ‌ He went on to say that his recent autism diagnosis also meant that he struggles "to read people". Speaking on behalf of Betfred, Kayley Cornelius said: "While Masterchef may survive this controversy, Gregg Wallace's presenting career is looking already dead in the water. "With an overwhelming number of upheld accounts against him, it would take a broadcaster with real guts to commission him for another TV show. ‌ "The only real route to redemption he had to wiggle his way back into the industry was the hope of being offered a spot on a reality series such as Big Brother or I'm A Celebrity, where he'd appear as the token 'controversial' figure." Kayleigh reckons this chance would serve as "a form of crisis PR" in an attempt to regain public favour and save his reputation, but questions whether it might already be too late. The PR expert explains that the initial steps a celebrity takes after a scandal are "crucial", and "can set the tone for the lasting impact it will have on their career". ‌ Given that Gregg spoke out so quickly after facing accusations, Kayleigh suspects this may have deterred producers from offering him an opportunity to redeem himself. "Gregg had the likes of Phillip Schofield's and Wynne Evans' mistakes to learn from. However, he's already slipped up at the first hurdle and dug himself even deeper into a hole he'll struggle to get out of," she observed. ‌ "In his exclusive interview, he came across as rash and directionless, and as a result, he made himself a laughing stock online, proving that the public aren't ready to take him seriously, nor welcome him back in. "This will undoubtedly be a huge turn-off for producers." Gregg's former co-presenter John Torode will also not have his contract renewed, after an allegation against him using "an extremely offensive racist term" was upheld. In a statement, he expressed that he had "no recollection" of the alleged incident and was "shocked and saddened" by the accusation. The latest series of MasterChef returns to screens tonight, and controversially features both presenters. According to The Independent, the final episodes will see Wallace succeeded by Irish chef and restaurateur Anna Haugh.

Rylan Clark shares painful relationship confession as he says 'I thought it'd be easier'

Rylan Clark's marriage to Dan Neal came to an end in 2019 and he has now admitted that he thought it would be much "easier" to meet someone new, during a conversation with celebrity friends TV star Rylan Clark has confessed he believed his celebrity status would make the chances of meeting someone new "10 times easier" as he opened up about his quest for romance. ‌ Following the breakdown of his marriage four years ago, the former X Factor favourite has been refreshingly frank about wanting to find love again. ‌ During a recent heart-to-heart with close mates and fellow celebrities Emma and Matt Willis, he provided a revealing glimpse into his private life. ‌ On his Rylan: How To Be In Love podcast, the celebrity couple offered their thoughts on what kind of partner Rylan should pursue next. ". He went on to elaborate: "I genuinely thought it'd be 10 times easier, because I've never been single and known (a celebrity)." ‌ Rylan first crossed paths with his ex Dan Neal on Big Brother in 2013. At the time, Dan was a contestant on the show, while Rylan was part of the presenting team for its spin-off, Big Brother's Bit on the Side. Fast forward two years from their reality TV encounter, and Rylan and Dan were saying their vows at Braxted Park Estate, Essex. The couple celebrated their special day surrounded by a host of celebrity guests, including Matt and Emma Willis, Katie Price, Eamonn Holmes, and Ruth Langsford.
