Noise Buds F1 review: Priced at Rs 1,099, these budget-friendly earphones are light and long-lasting
Noise F1 Buds: Beautiful and light-weight designBefore we step into the audio performance, it is worth mentioning that the Noise F1 Buds have an eye-catching design. The buds and case combo is light and compact and so, the buds remain mostly comfortable in the ears even on extended use while the charging case they come in slips easily in your pocket. Noise also offers a good selection of colours that should attract many people, particularly the youth. We have the mint green variant, it looks cool and fresh (no pun intended).

The case has other conveniences apart from pocketability. It has a USB Type-C port and an LED pairing indicator, the latter isn't very common even among some of the pricier options so it's nice that Noise thought of that. This LED serves several purposes, indicating low battery, pairing status, charging and more.The lid of the case is quite sturdy for the price and stays put in day-to-day use without much trouble. The buds remain securely in place unless you drop them hard. Having said that, it is prone to smudging easily. Inside, you have the buds and a reset button.The earbuds are also lightweight, so much so that I often forgot I was even wearing them. They come with three sizes of ear tips: small, medium, and large, with the medium tips fitted by default. I found the Noise F1 Buds to be exceptionally comfortable. I was able to wear them for hours without any significant discomfort.
The buds also sport touch sensors on the stem area. Equipped with 11mm drivers, the earbuds manage to capture most of the beats and rhythm, but the bass performance leaves you asking for more. Tracks ranging from Imagine Dragons' 'Believer' to Ali Zafar's 'Vo Dekhnay Mein' tend to sound a bit flat, lacking the depth and richness that strong bass usually brings. Hence, if you are looking for a decent TWS and do not care much about immaculate sound – which is what you won't find at this price anyway - the Noise F1 Buds are worth a look. The lack of active noise cancellation is a missed opportunity, but again, it is understandable at this price.Moving on, the Noise F1 Buds feature a quad-mic system with ENC. Phone calls made through them are good, not great.advertisementBattery life and connectivityNow, the best part about the Noise F1 Buds is their battery life. The company claims that the TWS can run 50 hours on a single charge. At first it seems to be a little far-fetched, but after using the buds I can say that it is close. I used the buds for a week, and I have only charged it once. Specifically, I use the earbuds for at least 6 hours every day, and even longer, say 7 hours, on the weekends.
These earbuds are fast and easy to connect to any device. Noise says it uses proprietary technology called HyperSync to pull this off. I tried connecting them to an iPhone and a laptop, and switching was quick and seamless.Noise F1 Buds: Should you buy?Priced at Rs 1,099, the Noise F1 Buds offer decent sound quality, impressive battery life, and a comfortable fit. While the audio may feel somewhat flat and the absence of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is sorely missed, compared to other TWS options, they still manage to stand out as a fine choice for everyday use.

Price remains same, but Pixel 10 Pro Fold looks like significant upgrade over previous Fold
Looks can be deceiving. Because if you look at the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Pixel 9 Pro Fold side by side, you may think that the two Google phones are quite similar. And more so if you take into account the pricing, which remains unchanged for the Pixel Fold this year. Yes, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is launching at Rs 1,72,999, which is the same as that of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold launched last is that the case? Is the Pixel 10 Pro Fold just a minor bump over its predecessor? Not really, if you go beyond the looks. Despite identical shells and contours and the same price, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is a significant step up from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. And not just because it sticks to last year's price. It's because, at the same cost, it delivers a lot more value — the kind Google didn't even highlight properly on stage. From what we can gather on the basis of its feature set and specifications, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold brings significant improvements that make it a much better package overall.A stronger hinge with real durability gainsFirstly, the very thing that makes a foldable possible — the hinge. Durability is the number one concern for buyers, and here the Pixel 10 Pro Fold takes a big leap. It features what Google calls a gear-less hinge. In theory, it is twice as strong and durable as the hinge on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. But the durability boost doesn't end there. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also the first foldable to come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Water resistance is something we've come to expect, but dust resistance has been a challenge for foldables until now. With this, Google seems to have cracked it. The phone also comes in two colours — Jade and Moonstone — while staying as slim and sleek as last year's model, though in India only Moonstone is going to be sold. The only trade-off is the weight: at 257 grams, it's going to feel heavier in the hand, especially when other foldables are starting to drop closer to 220 grams. Still, when you look at the hinge, dust and water resistance, and overall build, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is clearly a more robust product, even if it looks very displays, inside and outMoving to the display, again at the first glance, things may appear similar. But they aren't. The outer screen now measures a slightly larger 6.4 inches, while the inner screen remains at 8 inches. Both are OLED panels, but brightness is where the new phone really stands out. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold already had bright displays, but the Pixel 10 Pro Fold pushes peak brightness up to 3,000 nits. More importantly, it improves HDR brightness — 2,000 nits on the cover screen and 1,800 nits on the inner display, compared to 1,800 nits and 1,600 nits, respectively, on the 9 Pro Fold. This difference should be most noticeable when watching HDR content or using the phone outdoors on bright, sunny days. Simply put, the new Fold is always going to look brighter and clearer than the old battery and software take the biggest leapadvertisementThe biggest leap, though, comes with hardware and software. Pixel phones have always excelled in cameras and AI features, but aren't quite known for their performance and battery life. Google seems to be taking this seriously with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It packs a larger 5015mAh battery (around 400mAh more than the 9 Pro Fold), supports faster 30W wired charging, and now adds 15W Qi2 wireless charging with magnetic support, similar to Apple's MagSafe. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the new Tensor G5 chip built by TSMC on a 3nm node, which should deliver better performance and efficiency compared to the Samsung-made chips of earlier the software side, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold debuts with Android 16 out of the box and promises seven years of software updates. It also gets a suite of exclusive AI tools not found on the 9 Pro Fold, including Magic Cues, real-time Live Translate during calls, and conversational photo editing, among others. These are not gimmicks, but practical features designed to improve everyday are a strong point for PixelsFinally, there's the camera. While the hardware setup looks similar to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Google hasn't confirmed whether the sensors are new or not. What is clear, though, is that the Tensor G5 brings an improved ISP (image signal processor), along with new photo and editing features. Given Pixel's track record in computational photography, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold should comfortably edge past its predecessor in camera performance the Pixel 10 Pro Fold worth it?All things considered, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold looks like a significant upgrade over the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The fact that Google has delivered a stronger hinge, dust and water resistance, brighter displays, a bigger battery, faster charging, new AI features, and Android 16 right from launch — all while keeping the price unchanged — makes it hard to argue against the value on offer here. However, having said that, this is an expensive phone and, like with any other expensive phone, the value is in the eye of the beholder. But if you opt to choose it, do know that on the surface, it may look the same as the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but under the skin, this is a much better phone.- Ends

Asus Flow Z13 Review: Stylish, Portable and Powerful
I'll start off with a confession — I am a big fan of the tablet form factor and have a lot of time for any device that promises to deliver laptop-grade performance in a smaller size. This is where the new Asus ROG Flow Z13 comes in. This 13-inch device from the Taiwanese tech giant not only comes in a tablet form factor with Windows 11 built in but also promises to run hardcore games onboard. I have been testing the device for about a month and here's my two bits on how it performed in the real world. Opening the box of the ROG Flow Z13, you are greeted with the device itself in a flashy yet classic ROG style, with a diagonal line and transparent strip showing off some of the internals. The exterior comes in a matte black finish with a textured surface that, while carrying the ROG gaming vibe, also makes sure the device can be carried in a professional setting. Apart from that, you get a 65W Asus charger with a USB-C interface and an Asus stylus bundled inside the box. With a weight of around 1.2kg (keyboard excluded), the Flow Z13 is definitely heavier than most tablets out there but much lighter compared to gaming laptops from Asus and other OEMs. Flow Z13 Design Flow Z13 Design The ROG Flow Z13 comes with a 13.4-inch WQXGA IPS display with a 180Hz dynamic refresh rate. This is a very good-quality display for a gaming device. It makes for a vibrant and rich viewing experience, and the 500 nits of peak brightness are enough for most indoor tasks, though it may feel slightly lacking in places with a lot of natural light. The built-in speakers come with Dolby Atmos branding and provide detailed, crisp sound. However, loudness isn't the best on this device, and for gaming sessions, one might still need to opt for dedicated headphones. Flow Z13 Display The Flow Z13 is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max 390 processor and AMD Radeon 8050s integrated GPU. It comes with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD. As for ports, the Flow Z13 includes 2 USB-C ports, 1 USB-A port, a headphone jack, an HDMI port, and an XG Mobile port. Sadly, there is no Thunderbolt port, which could be a major miss for content creators. Now, I am no gamer so I couldn't test the laptop's gaming performance to the fullest. I did try a couple of popular titles and, for what it's worth, the Flow Z13 managed to handle them easily. Since the fans are placed on the back of the device, you don't get a burning sensation even if you play games on your lap. The 56Wh battery on the Flow Z13 is good enough to last a full working day in my experience, typically giving around 7–8 hours of backup. That drops drastically to about 2 hours when gaming. Battery life is decent for normal usage but nowhere close to the carefree experience you get with the new ARM-based Snapdragon X series processors. Honestly speaking, I've been using the OnePlus Pad 3 as my primary work device for about 3 months, and battery life was one of the areas that bugged me when switching to the Flow Z13. The chiclet-style keyboard on the Flow Z13 comes with well-spaced keys and decent key travel, but it feels significantly cheaper compared to keyboards on other Asus devices. It does have multi-coloured RGB lighting, which is a decent addition considering this is a detachable keyboard, though the lighting intensity could have been better. Given the current trend of elongated trackpads on most modern laptops, the one on the Flow Z13 feels a little outdated. Personally, I prefer to use a mouse with my laptop, and while the trackpad is smooth and responsive, it didn't convince me to move away from my mouse. Flow Z13 keyboard Flow Z13 keyboard Another problem is stability — if you're travelling or don't have a flat surface to type on, it becomes very hard to keep the keyboard in place. This is the trade-off you make for portability with this device. The front camera on the Flow Z13 is a 5MP 1440p shooter that makes for a decent video calling experience, though details could have been better. The 13MP shooter on the back is of much higher quality and can easily be used for quick photos in case of an emergency. At a price of ₹ 1,99,999, the Asus Flow Z13 is not meant for everyone. It is specifically aimed at gamers who want a 2-in-1 form factor with portability as their top priority. The Flow Z13 makes for a compelling option in its price range with a gaming-focused design, a powerful AMD processor and GPU, good battery life, and a solid display.
