A "Royal Warrant of Appointment" is a "mark of recognition" given to people who "have regularly supplied goods or services to the Royal Household," as per the royal family's website.
Those who now hold Royal Warrants can apply to keep their desired status until the end of this month. Applications for new warrants from the couple will be accepted beginning in early 2026.
'Their Royal Highnesses are delighted to be able to recognise and celebrate British industry, creativity and skills through the granting of Warrants,' Sir Ian Patrick, Private Secretary to The Prince of Wales said in a statement.

To be eligible for a warrant, an entity must have provided services to the royal family for five of the previous seven years. Naturally, it needs to exhibit excellent standards, service, and environmental practices.
There are 800 warrant holders at the moment, representing businesses that range from restaurants and food manufacturers to hotels, tailors, and more.
Additionally, specific service providers might be granted warrants; Queen Camilla recently gave the distinction to Jo Hansford, her personal hairstylist.

The King is reportedly planning a significant concession by including Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their kids, Archie and Lilibet, in his own state funeral arrangements.
According to The Telegraph, King Charles has subtly demanded that the Sussexes—that is, Harry and Meghan—play "prominent roles" at Westminster Abbey. He even joined the family vigil at Westminster Hall while he was laying in state. Archie (6) and Lilibet (3) are also included; they have meticulously planned roles during the Abbey service and the committal at Windsor's St. George's Chapel.

LL Cool J says he wont perform at Philadelphias July Fourth festival in support of workers strike
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Rapper LL Cool J and R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan say they will not perform at a Fourth of July festival in Philadelphia in support of a strike by nearly 10,000 city workers in Philadelphia. LL Cool J had been scheduled to appear at the Wawa Welcome America Festival on Friday, along with Sullivan and other performers. LL Cool J said in a video posted on social media that 'there's absolutely no way that I can perform, cross a picket line and pick up money when I know that people are out there fighting for a living wage.' 'I hope, I hope, I hope that, you know, the mayor and the city can make a deal. I hope it works out,' he said. LL Cool J also said that he never wants to disappoint his fans and that he plans to be in Philadelphia in case an agreement is reached. The festival comes as the strike moved into a fourth day Friday. Trash has been piling up in some areas, and more than 30 Medical Examiner's Office staffers have been ordered back to work because of a growing backlog of bodies in storage. Sullivan, a Philadelphia native and Grammy award-winning artist, said in a post on Instagram on Friday that she would stand with the striking workers 'until the city and the union find a way to bring fair living wages to our working class. Mounting trash piles in some parts of the city were also still causing grief for residents and officials, who have strongly urged residents to follow the collection guidelines imposed when the strike began Tuesday. They also urged residents to report problems at the trash collection sites, and noted trash is being cleared as fast as possible and the city is working to open more sites.

1 2 Lucknow: A powerful theatrical production showcasing the courage and sacrifices of India's freedom fighters left the audience deeply touched at the UP Sangeet Natak Akademi on Thursday. The play, titled "Bade Aa Se Aazadi," showcased the emotional journey of freedom fighters and was prepared during a month-long theatre workshop organised by Sangeet Natak Akademi and Dastak Manch. Written by Sangeeta Jaiswal and Deepak Kabir and directed by Shubham Tiwari, the show began with scenes of freedom fighters protesting for the nation and facing cruelty from the British. The play also depicted the differences in society, highlighting how some wealthy people stayed away from the country's issues, while the poor suffered the most under British rule. The main highlight of the play was the dramatic scene of the Kakori Train Action that took place on August 9, 1925. In this historic event, revolutionaries like Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqullah Khan, and others looted a British govt train carrying money to fund the freedom struggle. After the incident, many revolutionaries were arrested across India. A long trial, known as the Kakori conspiracy case, followed and lasted about one and a half years. In the end, Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqullah Khan, Rajendra Lahiri, and Roshan Singh were sentenced to death, while others received long prison terms or life imprisonment (kala pani). The play reached an emotional high point when Ashfaqullah Khan delivered a strong message asking people to stay united for the fight for freedom. Ashish Yadav played Ram Prasad Bismil with great energy, while Mohammad Talib acted as Ashfaqullah Khan. Rahul Sachan appeared as Chandrashekhar Azad, and Karan Singh played Thakur Roshan Singh. Satish Tamanna performed several roles, including Justice Archibald Hamilton. Female revolutionaries were played by Gargi Gautam, Kanchan Tiwari, Mihika Srivastava, Deepa Pandey, and many others who contributed as freedom fighters, police officers, narrators, and backstage helpers.
