What happened to Boston Celtics forward Reggie Lewis? The Celtics dynasty of the 1980s that started under Boston Hall of Famers Larry Bird, Robert Parish, and Kevin McHale looked poised to continue with the rise of Lewis after the Celtics drafted him out of the NCAA ranks.
But a hidden health issue would take the young Boston star from his family, friends, team, and fans far too soon, Lewis collapsing on a court with a rare heart issue that would ultimately take his life. Celtics beat writers from that era Bob Ryan and Dan Shaugnessy took some time on a recent episode of the "NBA History and Storytellers on CLNS" show to talk over his untimely loss.
Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about what was lost -- and what might have been.

Alabama football 2025 season preview, predictions: Domani Jackson

Entering year two in Tuscaloosa, Jackson transferred into the Alabama program a year ago, and similar to fellow defensive standout LT Overton, opted-to return to college for another year, bypassing the 2025 NFL draft in the process. With this return to Alabama, Jackson now enters the 2025 season cemented as a starting cornerback, and could potentially be set for a career-year yet again. What does it mean to be the head coach of the Boston Celtics?

What does it mean to be the head coach of the Boston Celtics? With famous greats like Red Auerbach, Bill Russell, Tommy Heinsohn, Bill Fitch, K.C. Jones, and Doc Rivers having held such a post to name just some of the legendary names helming the Celtics over the years, it is a certain level of rarified air to even be in the same conversation with names like these. And now current Boston head coach Joe Mazzulla is among them with a title to his name as coach of the Celtics, so the Rhode Island native knows something about the answer to that question. The man himself took a stab at answering it on a recent episode from fellow New England sports legend Julian Edelman's "Games with Names" podcast, Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what Mazzulla had to say about what it means to coach the Celtics.

Cedric Maxwell expects a bad Boston Celtics season ahead

Former champion Boston Celtics forward and current Boston broadcaster Cedric Maxwell has seen the Celtics at their best and worst, both as a player and as a member of the media. So we ought to take him seriously when he is bracing for what he thinks will be a particularly bad season for the Celtics in their coming 2025-26 campaign. After Boston elected to trade away veterans Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday while letting critical backup big man Luke Kornet walk in free agency to the San Antonio Spurs, it became pretty clear in a hurry that a soft tank for the team was in the cards. When they signed former Minnesota Timberwolves depth players Luka Garza and Josh Minott to help backfill the minutes Kornet, Holiday, and Porzingis will leave behind, it all but confirmed that this was the plan. The hosts of the CLNS Media "Cedric Maxwell" podcast, the eponymous Cedric Maxwell and his co-host John Zannis, took some time on an episode of their show to talk it over. Check it out below!
