Kajol reveals she couldn't stop laughing at Shilpa Shetty's feet during Baazigar shoot for THIS reason: 'It was the dead body sequence...'
Even the most intense scenes can lead to unexpected giggles—and Kajol has the perfect example. In a recent interview, the actress shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes moment from the sets of the 1993 thriller Baazigar, where she simply couldn't stop laughing during a serious death scene involving co-star
Shilpa Shetty
.
In conversation with The Lallantop, Kajol shared a light-hearted memory from the set of Baazigar, revealing how she was scolded by director Abbas for laughing during a serious scene. The moment involved Shilpa Shetty's character lying dead, but Kajol couldn't hold back her laughter after noticing Shilpa's feet. She found it hilarious that someone could have such perfectly polished nails in a death scene, which led to her laughing uncontrollably—much to the director's frustration.
The actress further recalled that she couldn't stop giggling, saying she kept laughing over how funny it was to see Shilpa Shetty's perfectly polished feet in a death scene. Director Abbas tried to get her back into character, reminding her to cry for the shot. But when she couldn't control her laughter, he sternly scolded her, asking if she would react the same way if it were her real sister lying there. That one line, Kajol said, instantly changed her mood and brought the required emotion to the scene.

Paras Arora on Gharwali Pedwali: Comedy shows are rare and I love being part of one
Paras Arora Last seen in Gehna Zewar Ya Zanjeer, Paras Arora is gearing up for his next role in Gharwali Pedwali, a family comedy with a supernatural twist. He plays Prithvi Mishra, also known as Jeetu, a man navigating life with two sets of everything: parents, bosses, and even wives. Speaking about his return to the comedy genre, Paras says, 'Comedy shows have become quite rare these days and I enjoy working in this space. While drama dominates Indian television, not many shows aim to genuinely make people laugh. I consider it a privilege to be part of one that does. It had been a while since I explored this genre and I truly connected with the script, the concept, and my character Jeetu. Another appealing aspect is that most characters in the show are rooted in Uttar Pradesh, which adds a nice cultural layer. ' Describing his character, he shares, 'What I find most fun and fascinating about Jeetu is how he's caught between his gharwali and pedwali, constantly juggling both lives. The situations he finds himself in are bizarre, humorous, and oddly relatable. Jeetu isn't street smart or manipulative, he's just trying to keep things from spiralling out of control. There's an innocence to him that makes him very likeable.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like This Could Be the Best Time to Trade Gold in 5 Years IC Markets Learn More Undo Paras also touches on the complexity of playing Jeetu. He says, 'One of the biggest challenges was striking the right balance, ensuring he didn't come across as either too clever or too naïve. There's a thin line between being sharp and being wise and walking that convincingly was something I really enjoyed.' The show also promises to blend traditional values with contemporary humour in unexpected ways. On the title, he adds, 'Gharwali Pedwali is quirky and fits perfectly with the story's tone. It sets the stage for the kind of chaos the audience can expect, with enough surprises to keep them hooked.'
