Now that the school holidays are in full swing for summer, the mum-of-four has been on the hunt for cheap activities and days out to enjoy with her brood.
And she recommends a "wholesome family day" at the National Museum of Rural Life in East Kilbride, just 20 minutes away from Glasgow.
In a recent video documenting the "10/10 day out", Lisa said: "From the kids' explorer section with colouring-in and dress-up fun, to meeting the pigs, horses, cows and chickens at the farmhouse – it was a perfect day out for our family of six."
The mum used her National Trust of Scotland membership card to gain free entry to the museum itself.
But don't worry if you don't have one, the play park and animal enclosures are still completely free outdoors.
And the visitor attraction is open from 10am until 5pm, allowing for a full day out with the family.
Lisa said: "We headed round and we just had a wee explore of the inside bit [at the museum] and there's a wee kids bit now which I don't remember being there the last time at all and I think there's been quite a few things added.
"Obviously there's the museum part where you can see the tractors and everything to do with agriculture and mine are all the age where they like looking but they're not gonna stop and read anything.
"I do try but they're just not really that interested. There's a cafe [and] a little explorers room which the kids absolutely loved and there's wee dress up stuff."
She continued: "Then we went out had a play in the play park and then we had a go on the tractor.
School banned my daughter, 12, from 'diversity day' for wearing Union Jack dress - the reason was ridiculous
"We headed up to the little farm area where you can see pigs and piglets and chickens and cows and the kids loved that bit.
"Then there was a farmhouse that you could explore which the kids actually really enjoyed.
"I thought they wouldn't really care but they actually enjoyed it.
"They had a good wee look around everything. They moaned about how it smelled but I mean it was just that old house smell and it was a bit hot and clammy to be fair.

"There was also a bit of dress up in here as well which we took full advantage of.
"Finished off the day with a roll down the hill."
Other mums were left just as impressed by the day out, as one gushed: "Looks so good."
A second wrote: "This looks like an amazing day out."
Meanwhile, a third said: "We love it there!"

Matt Fitzpatrick defies his wife at The Open as he sets the record straight

Matt Fitzpatrick has emerged as a leading contender at The Open Championship but has refused to take his wife's advice so far during the tournament at Royal Portrush Matt Fitzpatrick has refused to use the golf balls that his wife marked for him ahead of The Open. The 30-year-old found himself second on the leaderboard on nine-under-par, one shot behind leader Scottie Scheffler, at the halfway point of the tournament. ‌ The English golfer is targeting his second major title after winning the US Open in 2022. Fitzpatrick carded four under on Thursday before improving with a five under on day two, putting him in firm contention for The Open title. ‌ While his focus will be on overtaking Scheffler, the attention during his post-round press conference was diverted to a video Fitzpatrick's wife Katherine had posted on social media. When asked by reporters, he quickly denied that he had used balls marked up by his wife for the major. ‌ In a TikTok clip, Fitzpatrick's wife showed herself writing personalised messages on golf balls for her husband. He shut down the suggestion that his partner regularly marked balls for him. 'She does not mark my golf balls,' Fitzpatrick replied. 'She does not, no, and I would not let her, no.' When asked if he had used the balls shown in his wife's video during The Open, Fitzpatrick replied: 'I have not, no.' Katherine had filmed herself opening a pack of balls ahead of The Open and scribbling messages for her other half. 'I always mark my husband's golf ball up for every tournament he plays. It's just like a special way for me to get involved,' she said, seemingly tongue-in-cheek as she gave a look off camera and smirked. ‌ Displaying the golf balls to camera, her messages included 'MF is cute' and 'I love you'. She added: 'Most of the time I do hearts and stars. Sometimes, if it's more of a serious tournament, I'll do fish.' However, Fitzpatrick's father Russell interrupted his daughter-in-law's story. 'What are you on about,' he quipped as he questioned Katherine's claims. ‌ 'No, I know you don't do that because I get all the second-hand balls and none of them look like that,' he laughed. 'All the golfers also know he don't mark them like that.' An undeterred Katherine continued: 'Well, anyway, I'm still going to give you a pack of special golf balls, Matt. You don't have to use them, but they're packed and sealed with love.' ‌ Matt and Katherine Fitzpatrick were first known to be dating in January 2023. The couple tied the knot in October 2024. Following another impressive round at Royal Portrush on Friday, Fitzpatrick suggested there was less pressure on him than Scheffler . The American is world No.1 and chasing his fourth major victory, having triumphed at the PGA Championship earlier this year. 'He's going to have the expectation to go out and dominate. I wouldn't say I necessarily feel as much pressure,' Fitzpatrick said. 'He's an exceptional player. He's world number one and we're seeing Tiger-like stuff. 'I think the pressure is for him to win the golf tournament. For me, I hope I'm going to have some more home support than him, but it's an exciting position for me to be in given where I was earlier this year.'

Having spent five years working at TK Maxx, the ex-employee, known as Patience on the platform, claims there are "secrets" the huge retailer would rather customers didn't know. According to Patience, cash-savvy shoppers should make a morning visit, right as the doors open for the day. She notes in her video that most stores receive their new deliveries just before opening to the public. "I am pretty sure at my TK Maxx they got deliveries at 6am every single morning and there would be people from 6am sorting it out and putting it away on the shelves," she revealed. In some cases, shops will get double deliveries, with brand new items hitting the store in the late afternoon around 3pm. ''Technically, the best times to shop are at 8am to 10am and 4pm to close,'' she revealed in the clip, advising ''to never go at lunch time''.
