Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan first met on the set of their 2015 film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, where Vignesh was the director. They reportedly fell in love while working together and later got engaged in 2021. The couple tied the knot in June 2022 and joyfully welcomed twin sons through surrogacy in September 2022.
Currently, on the work front, Nayanthara is busy shooting for Mookuthi Amman 2. She was last seen in the film Test, directed by S. Sashikanth, where she starred alongside R. Madhavan, Siddharth, and Meera Jasmine. Before that, she made her much-talked-about Hindi film debut with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan. While the film received mixed reviews from audiences, it turned out to be a massive box office success.
