It is also releasing four limited-edition Dairy Milk Summer Edition bars with unique packaging
Cadbury has launched a special chocolate bar that blends its classic Dairy Milk chocolate with a creamy coffee filling and crunchy biscuit pieces.
It also releases four limited-edition Dairy Milk Summer Edition bars with unique packaging.
This packaging changes its appearance when chilled, thanks to special thermochromic technology, revealing bright, summery designs.
The new chocolate bars will hit the shelves in June and will be available throughout the summer period.
Mara Popa, Brand Manager at Cadbury's parent company Mondelez, said: "We know that over half the nation is already chilling their chocolate, and we're ready to truly embrace this debate!
"With our limited-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk Summer Edition Bars and innovative colour-changing packaging, we're celebrating the fun and unique ways people enjoy their chocolate.
"This special pack design highlights the chilled chocolate trend in a playful way – so whether you are team fridge or team cupboard, the choice is yours!"
Cadbury has more new products coming next month.
It is adding to their Twirl range with a limited-edition Twirl White Dipped bar, which will be available from early June 2025.
This new version combines the classic Twirl milk chocolate layers with a smooth coating of white chocolate.
Shoppers beg Cadbury's to bring back 2005 recipe on iconic bar - as they moan current one 'tastes like candle wax'
The iconic chocolate brand shared the news in a post on Facebook earlier this month.
"OK but we've really outdone ourselves with this one," it told chocoholics.
It described the new flavour as "unreal, indulgent, smooth, swirly, creamy, melty, new, and mouthwatering."
However, the confectionery veterans also revealed that this new buy "won't be around forever".
So once this exciting new bar hits shelves, Cadbury fans may want to stock up while they can.
"Introducing Twirl White Dipped, keep your eyes peeled for when you can get your hands on it," the post read.
The launch image showed the famous flaky texture of a Twirl bar en-coated in white chocolate instead classic milk chocolate.
Cadbury representatives confirmed the bar is set to hit shelves on June 2.
How to save money on chocolate
We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs...
Go own brand - if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars.
Shop around - if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers - supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars - most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
Making a comeback
Earlier this month, chocolate fans were buzzing with excitement after spotting a new Cadbury treat that brings back fond memories of a beloved classic.
The discovery was shared in the popular Facebook group, Food Finds UK, where shoppers were quick to notice its striking similarity to the nostalgic Cadbury Tasters.
The new treat, named Cadbury Dairy Milk Balls, is said to resemble the discontinued Tasters, which first appeared in 1996.
These small, round Dairy Milk chocolates were similar to Maltesers but lacked the crunchy centre.
Despite their rich, chocolatey taste, Cadbury Tasters were quietly discontinued in the mid-2000s due to low sales.
However, it's clear that fans have never forgotten them.

Paddy McGuinness show with huge ratings axed after just one series
The new BBC show, which saw former Top Gear presenters Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris reunite, reportedly won't be back for another series Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris were back behind the wheel last year for a new show together - months after the latest version of Top Gear was axed in late 2023. But now their new show Paddy and Chris: Road Tripping is said to have suffered the same fate after the BBC reportedly haven't renewed it after just one series, despite huge ratings from fans. The road trip show saw them travel around Europe on a quest to crack the code of ageing well (or not so disgracefully) as the pair - who both in their early 50s - searched for a cure to the 'mid-life crisis'. Though it had good viewing figures - with 3.2 million tuning it for the first episode on Sunday September 24, 2024 - it's not thought to be coming back for a second season. A BBC spokesperson confirmed the news and said in a statement to The Sun: "Whilst viewers can enjoy all episodes of Road Tripping on BBC iPlayer now, there are currently no plans for any new episodes at the moment." It comes after a TV insider told the publication that "it certainly wouldn't have helped" that a few weeks before the show began, host Chris was "slating the corporation following Freddie Flintoff's horror crash while they were filming Top Gear." They added: "He said he'd warned show bosses that someone could be killed or seriously injured on the show claiming producers were devising increasingly 'stupid and dangerous' stunts. The timing was not great, but by that stage Road Tripping, which saw Chris reunited with Paddy without Freddie, had already been made and was ready to go out on air." Freddie was out of the spotlight for a while after his horror Top Gear horror in December 2022 which left him with life-changing and long-lasting injuries. The former England cricket star had a mixture of hard and soft tissue injuries, broken teeth, lost teeth and elements of the upper jaw bone that were also fractured and displaced. Surgeon Jahrad Haq, who treated Freddie, told a Disney+ documentary about what happened: 'He lost a really significant portion of his upper lip - the skin and some of the underlying muscle - and also his lower lip.' Mr Haq added the injuries were in the "top five" in terms of severity of those he had seen during his career. The crash at Dunsfold Park in Surrey was in a Morgan Super 3 car with no roof which flipped. Recalling the moment, Freddie said: "It were a three wheeler, a reinforcement windscreen and a bar covering half me back. So I'm exposed. 'We're probably doing about 40 or 45, they were showing me how to get the car going sideways, and the wheel came up at the front. It's a funny thing rolling a car because there's a point of no return, and everything slows down. It's so weird.' Landing face first, Freddie feared his face had been ripped off in the accident. He continued: "I looked down and blood was coming down. And my biggest fear was I didn't think I had a face. I thought my face had come off. I was frightened to death.' Dad-of-four Freddie has scars on his face, but has since recovered from the accident. He recently went back to visit the hotel in London where he had facial surgery to thank his 'superheroes'. Upon Freddie's return to St George's Hospital in Tooting, he said: "I just want to say a massive thank you to all the staff at St George's. I came here probably the lowest I've ever been, in need of help and the expertise, the love, the compassion they showed me was incredible." He added: "I'll be eternally grateful - absolute superheroes."

ITV 'launch formal investigation into Good Morning Britain' after shocking blunder
ITV have reportedly launched a formal investigation into an incident that sparked outrage on Good Morning Britain earlier this year on Holocaust Memorial Day ITV have reportedly launched a formal probe into Good Morning Britain after one 'humiliating blunder too big to ignore' left viewers outraged. The broadcaster's long-running early morning programme aired a tribute to the victims of one of history's biggest atrocities on Holocaust Memorial Day earlier this year. On that day, presenter Ranvir Singh was reporting and while she mentioned that the six million people killed in the death camps were 'disabled, gay or belonged to another ethnic group', but did not make it clear that that figure applied to solely the Jewish victims, and didn't appear to realise that there were 11 million victims in total. The episode in question aired on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau in January, and it is now thought that the incident has become the subject of a formal investigation. A source told The Sun: "Good Morning Britain is a flagship programme for ITV and to allow a blunder like this was too big to simply ignore. They are now investigating how this happened and the top brass want answers. ITV pride themselves on their news coverage but this was lower than sub par." The insider also claimed that 'the probe will uncover who allowed it to happen and there will be consequences' for those involved, adding that it 'has been hugely humiliating and is a headache the bosses over at ITV really could do without.' The Mirror has approached ITV for comment on the probe they have launched. At the time, the blunder sparked outrage and Ranvir, who also regularly covers for Lorraine Kelly on her eponymous daytime show, was quick to apologise for her error. She said: "In yesterday's news when we reported on the memorial events in Auschwitz, we said six million people were killed in the Holocaust, but crucially failed to say they were Jewish. That was our mistake, for which we apologise." Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the show said: "In our studio introduction to the report on the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz we failed to acknowledge the Jewish community which we have since apologised for live on air in today's programme. "This failure was done in error, however clear reference to Jewish people in the correspondent news report from Auschwitz immediately followed, as well as a further extended programme report referencing the six million Jewish victims. Yesterday's programme also included a live studio interview with a survivor of Auschwitz, Rachel Levy alongside Olivia Marks-Woldman, Chief Executive of the Holocaust Memorial Trust, both of whom talked candidly about their own experiences as Jewish people." The clip came under fire on social media, with one person writing: "Disgusting shameful!" A second added: "This can't be for real?" "This coverage is utterly disgraceful! This history must not be forgotten, nor must it be distorted. The Jews were the victims then - we must make sure that they will never be the victims again," said another.

Maura Higgins 'cashes in with new US job' just weeks after wrapping up Traitors US in a huge career boost
has reportedly 'cashed in with a new US job' just weeks after filming the Traitors US. The Love Island star, 34, is set to host a newly commissioned Aftersun for the upcoming Love Island Games after she impressed bosses on the regular show. An TV insider told The Sun: 'The first series of Love Island Games didn't have an Aftersun sister show as it was pre-recorded and aired at a later date, but this time around for season 2 it will air in real time like the regular show does. 'As a result, bosses have commissioned an Aftersun series to run as a companion show and it will be fronted by Maura Higgins, who hosts Aftersun for the regular Love Island USA. 'Maura was thrilled to be asked to do it, as Games is a totally separate show so there was no guarantee she would be offered it.' The source added the Irish stunner was 'over the moon' when bosses approached her, branding her 'a key fixture in the Love Island USA family'. The source added: 'Her stateside career is going from strength to strength and comes off the back of her doing Traitors US. Maura would love to spend more time doing work in the US and it feels like this is the next step to that.' The TV favourite was previously featured on Love Island USA's fifth season, which streams on Peacock, and is now rumoured to be whisking off to Fiji for her next gig. The report comes after it emerged her and Danny Jones are reportedly set for an awkward reunion, months after their drunken kiss at the BRITs hit the headlines. The married McFly singer, 39, and his marriage to model wife Georgia, 38, was rocked after the I'm A Celeb winner shared a drunken kiss with campmate Maura at a Universal Records party and further reports claimed the pair had continued their night until 6am, sharing wine together at Nobu Hotel bar. Since the scandal, neither have been attended any of the same events, but now Danny and Maura, 34, could soon come face to face, as they walk the red carpet for the National Television Awards at the beginning of September. The ITV jungle show has picked up 15 nominations and is traditionally shortlisted for Best Entertainment category. In the past, the winner of I'm A Celebrity has joined hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly on stage as they collect the gong - meaning Danny could be at risk of bumping into Maura. A source told The Sun: 'Danny is expected to attend NTAs on September 10, as have all previous reigning jungle winners and Maura is also going. 'She is the queen of a red carpet moment and adores getting glammed up. There will have to be some clever choreography to ensure they don't end up next to each other when walking the red carpet but they could both end up on stage if I'm A Celebrity wins. They added: 'Maura won't be answering any questions about the kiss. She's put the incident behind her and feels she has nothing to be ashamed of.' At the time of the incident, Danny, apologised to his wife and family for 'putting them in this situation'. Georgia, who is a former Miss England, temporarily moved out of the family home in the wake of the kissing scandal back in April. But after deciding to give their marriage a second chance, she returned to the property as sources claimed Danny was willing to do 'anything to make it work.' In recent weeks, Danny has been quietly working on repairing the couples 11 year marriage and has just come back from a family holiday with Georgia and their little boy Cooper, seven. Sharing a slew of snaps to his Instagram, the family looked happy and relaxed as the posed by the sea all together, glowing from the sun and fresh faced from their sunny getaway. Danny and Georgia beamed for the camera and in another shot, Danny posted a picture of the three of them walking down some cobbled streets, with Georgia grinning from ear to ear. Since the scandal, neither have been attended any of the same events, but now Danny and Maura could soon come face to face, as they walk the red carpet for the National Television Awards at the beginning of September (pictured together on I'm A Celebrity) Georgia, who's a former Miss England, temporarily moved out of the family home in the wake of the kissing scandal last month but decided to give Danny a second chance (Danny and Georgia pictured) Alongside the images, he wrote: 'Sunshiiiiine' in a nod to the Oasis gig he had been privy to witness a few days earlier.
