Though the Indiana Fever were without star guard Caitlin Clark for the fourth straight game in Saturday's matchup with the Chicago Sky, but as it turns out, they didn't really need her.

The Fever ran away with a 79-52 win behind a 17-point performance from Kelsey Mitchell, plus 13 points from Natasha Howard and 12 points from Clark's replacement Aari McDonald as the team won its second straight game and pulled its record even at 4-4.
And while Indiana didn't have the benefit of Clark's expertise on the court, she did assist in another, equally valuable way.
X user @chrisclxrk posted a video of an animated Clark on the sideline coaching and firing up her teammates with the caption, 'Idc what she says this is a future head coach.'
The video caught the attention of several Fever fans, many of whom hit the comment section to express their thoughts on Clark as a future head basketball coach.
'And they are dialed into what she is saying. They all know. She is the one. Look at DB nodding her head in agreement. They all know,' one fan noted.

'🤔At some point long down the road Caitlin and Kate (Martin) will be Head Coach and assistant head coach at Iowa 😳😜😎,' another fan stated.
'She literally has this Veteran Team nodding in Agreement with What she was saying!!! She inspires Confidence in her teammates & they Believe what she is saying cuz she is Proof that it can be done, so they Do!' a third fan exclaimed.
'THIS IS A LEADER OF A TEAM YAW, EVEN WHEN SHE NOT ON THE COURT 💪 #CoachCC,' one user replied.
'I love how she's feels more comfortable being the voice in the locker room,' remarked another user.

There is some cautious optimism that Clark could be ready for the team's matchup against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday.
'I think we're trying not to put an exact date out there because it is kind of a day-by-day thing and seeing how I feel,' Clark noted. 'With this type of injury, you don't know if I'll feel different than the day before and we'll see. It could be a possibility [to play against Atlanta] but I could also not be able to play in that game too.'

Lakers, Warriors, or Pacers? Myles Turner's Free Agency Landing Spots Revealed

The Indiana Pacers advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in five games and will take on either the New York Knicks or the Boston Celtics. However, they have a busy offseason ahead of them. They own their own first-round pick, and starting center Myles Turner will be an unrestricted free agent. Advertisement Turner has long been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Golden State Warriors have a very clear need in the frontcourt. On league insider recently revealed where Turner is leaning with his decision. Myles Turner free agency Fisher Turner averaged 15.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and two blocks this season. He shot a solid 48.1 percent from the floor and 39.6 percent from deep, serving as one of the best floor-spacers in the league. While the Lakers and Warriors can offer bigger markets and superstars for him to play next to, Turner has only ever played for the Pacers. On top of that, Indiana did not get eliminated in the earlier rounds like the Lakers and Warriors did, making his choice easy. Advertisement "The rising expectation, league sources say, is that Turner will be extending his stay in the Hoosier State," NBA insider Jake Fischer wrote. Indiana can offer just as much money, if not more, than LA or Golden State, and allow him to be the third-best player on the team, barring a breakout from Bennedict Mathurin or Andrew Nesmith, which would be welcome. Indiana seems ready to march to their first Finals appearance since 2000 this season, and will be able to run things back next year with a similar roster. With the Cavs reeling from an early elimination and the Boston Celtics dealing with injuries and difficult financials, the usually weak Eastern Conference will be the Pacers' for the taking next season, provided they retain Turner. Simone Biles doesn't realize what she's admitting about trans women in her posts, Riley Gaines says

Riley Gaines pointed out a discrepancy in Simone Biles' personal attack on her as she called for the possibility of a third category for transgender athletes to compete in. Gaines broke down the social media post aimed at her from Biles in a recent episode of OutKick's "Gaines for Girls" podcast. The former NCAA All-American swimmer specifically talked about the Olympic gymnast, imploring her to create a "new avenue where trans feel safe in sports" and offering the idea of a "transgender category in all sports." "I don't think she realizes in that one sentence she's admitting that these people who say 'they are transgender women' are really just men," Gaines said. "She's admitting that by saying we should have a third category. I hope she realizes that. "Secondly, this has been done several times now. FINA (now known as World Aquatics), which is the international governing body of swimming, they were very quick to do this. Following the national championships, they did create a third category, even at the international, really high-level meets – to which they said we welcome all who are non-binary, gender non-conforming, those who identify as transgender, this is a category for you." World Aquatics developed the open category for transgender athletes who were barred from competing against the gender they identify as. Lia Thomas challenged the organization's rule change and lost in the Court of Arbitration for Sport last year. Additionally, World Aquatics was forced to scrap its open category race in the 2023 Berlin Swimming World Cup due to lack of interest. "This compromise that you're trying to make, don't come to me with it," Gaines said. "You should go to the other side and see how they feel about this compromise, because it's a compromise that they are not willing to make." Thomas won an NCAA championship in 2022. Nearly three years later, the NCAA changed its gender-participation policy in an attempt to align with President Donald Trump's "No Men in Women's Sports" executive order.
