BREAKING NEWS Caitlyn Jenner's pal Sophia Hutchins cause of death revealed after horrific accident in Malibu
Hutchins' life was cut short on July 2 after she plunged 350 feet down a cliff on the vehicle after she was believed to have struck a car bumper.
On Wednesday her cause of death was shared.
A death certificate from the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, which was obtained by People, shows Hutchins died from 'multiple blunt force injuries.'
The case remains open, but her manner of death has been 'ruled an accident.'
The reality TV star will be laid to rest at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Los Angeles on July 24.
Hutchins was featured heavily in the reality series, I Am Cait. The series ran for just two seasons but it gave glimpses into Jenner and Hutchins' unorthodox life together.
Later Sophia became the CEO and director of the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation.
Caitlyn Jenner 's late friend Sophia Hutchins died at the age of 29 in a horror ATV accident in Malibu. Hutchins was killed on July 2 after she plunged 350 feet down a cliff on the vehicle after she was believed to have struck a car bumper
In 2017, Hutchins moved into Jenner's home and began working as the star's manager in 2015.
Before that Kris Jenner managed Caitlyn.
DailyMail.com sources revealed that after striking the car's bumper, the impact forced the ATV and Hutchins ended up 'plummeting 350ft down into a ravine.'
First responders pronounced Hutchins dead at the scene.
Investigators told DailyMail.com that she was believed to have been speeding in the 2013 Polaris ATV, and was 'side by side' a Mazda when she rear-ended the car.
The impact caused the ATV to veer off the cliff off the winding mountainous road in Malibu.
The two individuals in the car struck by Hutchins and the ATV were not injured.
Hutchins was in Jenner's inner circle for over a decade after she came out as a transgender woman in 2015.
The case remains open, but her manner of death has been ruled an accident; seen in 2019
Hutchins met Caitlyn that year and appeared in multiple episodes of the television documentary series I Am Cait, a spin-off of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Despite living under one roof, Hutchins previously told The New York Times that they 'were never romantically involved', insisting it was all about work and friendship.
'Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship,' Sophia said.
In 2020, Sophia posed for an online ad campaign for Kim Kardashian's highly successful clothing line SKIMS.
Sophia was particularly close to Kris Jenner, speaking to her regularly, and Hutchins also had a good relationship with Jenner's daughters Kendall, 29, and Kylie, 27. The siblings once gave Sophia a stunning heart-shaped diamond necklace for Christmas.
'I'm on good terms with all the family, but I'm closest with Kris, Kim, Kylie and Kendall', Sophia said.
The tragedy comes nine years after Jenner was involved in a fatal car crash while driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. The collision involved four cars and resulted in the death of Kim Howe, 70.
Jenner was not charged in the crash, but an investigation by the LA County Sheriff's Office determined that Caitlyn was driving too fast. That opened her up to blame in civil lawsuits, which was later settled out of court.
Despite living under one roof, Hutchins previously told The New York Times that they 'were never romantically involved' with each other — a sentiment that pair have repeated over the years.
'I don't feel a need to address my sex life, quite frankly, unless I want to,' Sophia sternly told the outlet at the time.

Sickening moment cop launches heinous attack on adorable animal... before vile threat to his colleague
A New Mexico police officer laughed as he fatally injured a tiny baby rabbit by throwing it at his vehicle, after threatening his colleague with a TASER. Grant County Sheriff's Deputy Alejandro Gomez, 27, was caught in cellphone video from August of last year horrifically injuring the animal. In the clip, Gomez can be seen demanding that an unnamed deputy hand over the animal that was found outside the town of Hachita, near the Mexican border. The deputy who found the small critter was holding the animal close, saying that he thought Gomez would kill it. Gomez swears on his kids he won't kill the animal. He only hands it over after Gomez threatens him with a stun gun, telling him: 'Give it to me right now'. Now holding the animal, Gomez then throws it against the side of their vehicle while smiling as fellow officers laugh. According to the Albuquerque Journal, the other deputy later told New Mexico State Police that the animal was fatally injured and had to be killed so 'it would not suffer'. Gomez has been placed on leave and is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon upon a peace officer and one count of extreme cruelty to animals. The Grant County Sheriff's Office said that he would remain on leave until the case was resolved. State Police, who are probing the incident, said the sergeant and corporal who witnessed the cruelty 'failed to intervene as required by New Mexico Statute'. Neither of the two have been placed on leave and both are still employed at the office, the journal reported. Gomez's attorney Gary Mitchell told the outlet: 'We don't think he did anything wrong, obviously. 'We're waiting to see what evidence the state has. But it sounds like an inner-office situation that should not have turned into a criminal case.' An arrest affidavit says the group of officers stopped in the road after spotting the rabbit in the middle of the road. The deputy seen reluctantly handing over the animal said that he 'believed that if he just set the animal loose, Deputy Gomez would be able to pick it up and hurt it'. It added: 'Deputy Gomez threw the animal with such force that it fatally wounded the animal. A huge thud was heard as it struck the side of the patrol vehicle.' The deputy reported the incident and the Grant County Sheriff's Office conducted their own probe. The affidavit said that the internal investigation resulted in 'little or no action being taken against the deputies or supervisors involved'. It is also claimed that Gomez and the deputy had a run in days before the incident, after Gomez pointed his Taser at the deputy after having stole the deputy's phone. A few hour after the rabbit incident it is alleged that Gomez pointed his gun at the deputy behind his back and said he was 'only testing his duty-mounted light', it adds. The clip has surfaced on social media, sparking widespread outrage over Gomez's behavior. One person said: 'That's so inhumane and these are the people that are supposed to be protecting our community.'

CNN panel ends in chaos after liberal guest makes shock claim about Trump
A CNN panel descended into chaos when a liberal pundit cast doubt on whether President Donald Trump was shot during the July 2024 assassination attempt. Touré stunned his co-panelists with a comment that prompted gasps and immediate demands for an on-air correction during a segment about the president's health. 'He supposedly got shot in the ear,' the podcaster said, referencing the incident in Butler, Pennsylvania last year. 'We never heard from his doctors about that.' The remark triggered an explosive exchange as CNN NewsNight anchor Abby Phillip struggled to maintain order. Touré got an instant rebuke from conservative CNN commentator Scott Jennings, who sounded off in disbelief. 'Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Did you say supposedly?' Jennings snapped, turning to Phillip looking for her to intervene. 'Abby, Abby…' Phillip, who had already been attempting to corral a loud round of crosstalk between guests, tried to bring the panel under control. 'If y'all stop screaming at the table, maybe I can actually respond,' she said firmly. But by then the on-air brawl was in full flow. 'Supposedly. That's where we're at now,' added conservative radio host Ben Ferguson, shaking his head. 'Touré, he was shot in the ear.' As voices clashed across the table, Jennings pushed back: 'He had blood on his face! Where did it come from?' he demanded. 'I went to the Republican National Commission — he had a bandage on his ear.' But Touré doubled down, challenging the panel and White House for not providing more transparency. 'But did we hear from the doctors?' he pressed. 'Wouldn't we always hear from his doctors when he gets shot?' Phillip interjected again, trying to steer the segment back to its original focus on Trump's visible hand injuries and his doctor's recent note. 'This is not really what we're talking about,' she said. 'He is fine. It's just a function, frankly, of being an older person.' Phillip eventually cut through the noise. 'He was shot in the ear,' she said, firmly. 'We saw the blood. We saw the bandage.' Touré's eyebrow-raising comments came just over a year since 20-year-old Michael Thomas Crooks fired eight shots from a rooftop at Trump during a campaign stop in Butler, Pennsylvania, killing a rally-goer, injuring two others, and grazing Trump's right ear in what law enforcement later admitted was a catastrophic breakdown in security. Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), a former White House physician, said Trump's wound came 'less than a quarter of an inch from entering his head,' and that it resulted in 'significant bleeding and marked swelling.' Photos of the aftermath showed the then-former president's bloodied face and bandaged ear, images that instantly became symbolic of what his supporters call his political resilience — and what his critics feared would reshape the race. The Secret Service response, however, was widely condemned, and multiple federal investigations later confirmed there were glaring lapses in planning, communication, and threat assessment. Investigations found that the rooftop from which Crooks fired, just 135 meters from the rally stage, was known to pose a risk. But plans to obstruct the view with farm equipment were never executed, and no agents were posted to the vantage point. Worse still, local law enforcement and Secret Service personnel were operating from two separate command posts, with communication described as a 'chaotic mixture' of text messages, phone calls, radio chatter, and emails. Despite repeated requests for additional manpower in the days leading up to the rally, the Secret Service was stretched thin. A Senate report released this month declared: 'There were multiple, unacceptable failures in the planning and execution of the July 13 Butler rally.' Crooks was ultimately killed by a Secret Service countersniper moments after his rampage began. He left behind no manifesto and little trace of motive, and authorities believe he acted alone. The attack nevertheless prompted the swift resignation of Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle and spurred urgent reforms. That context made Touré's use of the word 'supposedly' all the more jarring — not just to his co-panelists, but to viewers still reeling from a shooting that nearly changed the course of US history.

Morgan Wallen calls out 'side chicks' in concert audience after Coldplay kiss cam CEO chaos
Morgan Wallen took a cheeky dig at audience members with 'side chicks' during his latest show - days after a CEO was infamously caught cozying up to his female colleague on a Coldplay concert kiss cam. Andrew Byron, the head of the billion-dollar AI startup Astronomer, was broadcast on the big screen at Boston's Gillette Stadium with his arm around the company's HR chief Kristin Cabot during Coldplay's gig there Tuesday night. They rapidly covered their faces, with Byron diving out of view and Cabot turning her back to the camera, but their reaction caught the attention of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, who joked: ' Either they're having an affair, or they're just very shy.' The clip went instantly viral and Byron was placed on leave this Friday before the company announced his resignation on Saturday. Public records suggest both Byron, 50, and Cabot, 56, are married - but that they live at different addresses to each of their spouses' registered abodes. As the awkward moment exploded across the internet, Wallen, 32, appeared to make a sly reference to it at his own Friday night show in Glendale, Arizona. 'Anybody in here with their side chick or whatever, I think you're safe here,' he said in fan footage posted to TikTok, before quipping: 'I don't condone cheating…anymore.' The next morning, Astronomer issued a statement announcing that Byron had resigned from the billion-dollar company. 'As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met,' the statement said. 'Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted.' Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy will stay on as interim CEO. 'While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not. We're continuing to do what we do best: helping our customers with their toughest data and AI problems.' Byron and Cabot were caught red-faced as the kiss-cam at a Coldplay concert in Boston panned to the CEO with his arms wrapped his subordinate on Tuesday. The pair immediately ducked and turned from the cameras after realizing their faces were on the big screen. Astronomer announced the CEO's resignation on Saturday following an internal investigation that put Byron and Cabot on leave on Friday Astronomer acknowledge the awkward situation in the statement announcing Byron's resignation. 'Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI,' the statement read. 'While awareness of our company may have changed over night our product and our work for our customers have not'. The couple have gained infamy since the moment went viral. At the time Coldplay front man Chris Martin, cracked a joke which stirred rumors over the couple's awkward reaction. 'Oh look at these two! Oh what? Either they're having an affair, or they're just very shy,' Martin said to the crowd. Public records suggest both Byron and Cabot are married - but that they live at different addresses to those listed as their spouses. Speculation of the suspected affair became the talk of the internet, and Daily Mail confirmed that Cabot is in fact currently married to another CEO. Massachusetts property documents dated in January confirmed that Cabot is currently married to Andrew Cabot, the chief executive of Privateer Rum, a Massachusetts-based booze maker. It is unclear exactly when the pair tied the knot, but the documents confirm that Cabot, whose maiden name is Stanek, was married at the time of selling a $1.8m property in Watertown, Mass, earlier this year. Privateer Rum's website lists Andrew Cabot as its CEO and COO of the company, and public documents show that he has been married at least twice before, in 1993 and 2014. He shares two children with his first wife Maud, who shared a picture of her ex-husband with Cabot looking loved up at his daughters 25th birthday party on social media in April of last year. Cabot even posed with his son Henry, 30, in the snaps, and was seen wearing a wedding ring at the event - which was missing during her cozy Coldplay date with Byron. Byron is also married, with his wife Megan Byron, removing his last name from her social media accounts shortly after the exchange with Chris Martin went viral. It comes after AI-tech start-up Astronomer said they have launched a formal investigation into the moment of intimacy. 'Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability,' they said in a statement. 'The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.' When Cabot joined the firm as HR boss in November 2024, Byron heaped praise on her, saying she would be a 'perfect fit' at his company. 'Kristin's exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and scaling people strategies will be critical as we continue our rapid trajectory,' he said in a press release at the time. 'She is a proven leader at multiple growth-stage companies and her passion for fostering diverse, collaborative workplaces makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer.' Byron's firm is valued at over $1 billion, with the company experiencing rapid growth since he became CEO in 2023.
