Sanjana Sanghi, On 5 Years Of Dil Bechara, Shares BTS With Sushant Singh Rajput
Sanjana Sanghi, who made her acting debut as a child artist in the 2011 film Rockstar, got her breakthrough in 2020 with Dil Bechara. The coming-of-age tragedy romance film, directed by Mukesh Chhabra in his directorial debut, starred the actress opposite the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. Although the romantic drama film did not have a traditional theatrical release, it was a hit amongst movie buffs. Now that the movie has clocked its 5th year, the diva shared a video expressing her gratitude.
On Instagram, Sanjana Sanghi shared a video featuring an array of BTS glimpses from the sets of the film Dil Bechara. Alongside the clip, she opened up about the gratitude-filled journey she had with the film and said, 'Dil Bechara, it's the journey that changed my life and is one that I struggle to articulate because of everything that it means to me."
She continued, 'On the fifth anniversary of Dil Bechara, the articulation I do have is of endless gratitude to the universe for choosing me to kickstart my leading actor journey, to Mukesh (Chhabra) for the kind of faith that he has shown in me, to the best actor in the world, Sushant (Singh Rajput), someone we miss every single day, to Rucha (Pathak, Chief Creative Officer of Fox Star Studios, India), our backbone, to (A.R.) Rahman sir, for our album and our team to make this the journey that it has been, but most importantly to all of you for giving me a permanent home in your hearts."

She also reflected on her role and mentioned, 'Kizie Basu will be my forever favourite and embodying her made me fall in love with this magical craft that is acting and I hope to do so much more and create so many more such characters and the fact that this was the start of my journey will always be the most special feeling. The Dhak Dhak actress further hosted an 'Ask Me Anything" session with her fans to discuss her favourite moments in the movie. When one user mentioned that it is when Kizie gave the speech in front of Manny (Sushant's character), that is fabulous, Sanjana added, 'So glad to hear that! It was one of the most nerve-wrecking moments, too, doing a 3/4 page monologue on a night shoot. But a huge learning curve."
In yet another picture on her Instagram stories, the diva posted a pale photo of herself alongside a caption that read, 'Here's Kizie from set 5 years ago, exhausted after a long scene saying thank you."
Someone even talked about the scene where Kizie proposed to Manny, she said, 'One of my favourites too!"
In one of them, the actress also wondered about the Re-release of Dil Bechara in the theatres, saying, 'Agreed! Never got to watch it on the big screen, here's putting that out into the universe."
After Dil Bechara, Sanghi has appeared in a number of movies, including Rashtra Kavach Om, Dhak Dhak and Kadak Singh.
