Universal Studios shutting down "Fast & Furious—Supercharged" Studio Tour attraction
"Fast & Furious—Supercharged" launched in 2015, with the studio tram rolling into a virtual high-speed 3D chase. It's set to close on March 10. The Fast & Furious universe will continue at the park, with high speed becoming the literal experience on the new outdoor roller coaster "Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift" -- set to open in 2026. It will be the park's first high-speed, outdoor roller coaster.
Park officials say its design leads the way with cutting-edge, innovative technology not yet used on a roller coaster.
"As Universal Studios Hollywood continues to evolve, the arrival of 'Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift' will be a powerful game changer that will infuse a new level of thrill into our already dynamic theme park, and we look forward to welcoming guests when it races onto the scene in 2026," said Scott Strobl, Executive Vice President & General Manager, Universal Studios Hollywood.
Highlights of the roller coaster include 360-degree rotation of the individual ride vehicles along a speeding track, with sound reduction technology. "These attributions will create a seamless sensation of drifting cars as guests spin in motion at furiously fast speeds," according to the park.
"Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift" will be located on the Upper Lot of Universal Studios Hollywood. Guests will queue up within a large, red brick, garage-style structure before settling into ride vehicles, modeled after several authentic cars featured in the films.
Universal Pictures' Fast & Furious films have become the studio's most profitable and longest-running franchise.

‘Nobody 2': What Happens During The End Credits?
The Bob Odenkirk crime comedy Nobody 2 has something going on during the end credits, but does it indicate whether the film will get a sequel? Nobody 2 is the sequel to Odenkirk's crime comedy hit Nobody. In the 2021 film, Odenkirk (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) stars as Hutch Mansell, a by-the-numbers working stiff who harbors a secret past as an off-the-books government assassin. After Hutch, his wife, Becca (Connie Nielsen) and kids (Gage Munroe and Paisley Cadorath) are held up in a home invasion, the seemingly mild-mannered office worker begins taking out the bad guys with his particular set of skills, leading him to a massive confrontation with a Russian mobster. Set four years after the events of the original film, Nobody 2 finds Hutch back at work as full-time assassin, mainly because a criminal organization bankrolled the $30 million Hutch needed to pay back the Russian mob after burning their gigantic stash of cash in the 2021 film. Knowing Becca is frustrated by him working all the time, Hutch takes his wife, kids and father (Christopher Lloyd) on a summer getaway to Plummerville, the location of an antiquated theme park where Hutch and his brother Harry (RZA) had their happiest childhood memories. However, when townies at the park mess with Hutch and his family, the undercover hitman snaps, which sets off a chain of events where he will eventually face off against Ladeena (Sharon Stone) — an evil mobster who uses Plummerville as a clearinghouse for her massive bootlegging operation. Note: The next section contains spoiler details from 'Nobody 2.' What Do 'Nobody 2's' End Credits Tell Us? Generally, end-credits and/or post-credits scenes either wrap up loose ends from a scene earlier in the movie or set up a sequel. Nobody 2 has something that occurs during the end credits, but it's not necessarily a scene, but a summation of what happens at Plummerville over the course of the movie. During the film, the Mansell family members share a disposable 35mm camera to take pictures of what they did on their very eventful vacation. At the end of the film, the Mansell family gathers in Hutch and Becca's house around a slide projector and instead of seeing the images from the camera on a screen on a wall, the photos show up alongside the end credits. The photos, however, don't have much to do with the murder and mayhem that happens when Hutch confronts Summerville's villains or Ladeena, but instead show the happy memories that Hutch was hoping for on the vacation. Only the last photo during the end credits pictures the fiery aftermath of Hutch's ultimate battle with Ladeena. There is no post-credits scene in Nobody 2. And while the photos that are shown during the end credits of the film give no indication of whether there will be another Nobody sequel, the odds are in favor of Bob Odenkirk and company if they decide to pursue it. To begin with, it won't take much for Nobody 2 to become profitable, since, according to Variety, it cost $25 million to make before prints and advertising costs, a number that is relatively low for a summer movie release. Perhaps the biggest requirement for any sequel potentially happening is whether what comes before it makes money. The next key is whether Odenkirk wants to do another Nobody movie, and if a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter is any indication, he's up for it. 'I'd do more [Nobody]. I'd love to do more of it, but I don't think I'm going to dig right in,' Odenkirk told THR. 'I have another action film called Normal that's coming out [at the Toronto International Film Festival 2025], so that's already in the can. But, right now, I think I want to do some comedy if they'll let me.' Also starring John Ortiz and Colin Hanks, Nobody 2 is new in theaters nationwide.

'OK Not to Be OK,' 'Solo' and 'No Promises' While 'Fast' may be Lovato's first top 10 on the Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart, its arrival marks her fourth trip to the highest tier on the Dance Digital Song Sales ranking. Julia Garner Confident She May Live to Tell Madonna's Story in Stalled Biopic: ‘That's Supposed to Still Happen'
Julia Garner isn't giving up hope of slipping into a cone bra just yet. The Fantastic Four: First Steps star stopped in to the SmartLess podcast for this week's episode and told hosts Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes that despite the delayed Madonna biopic getting put on ice in 2023 she's still confident it will happen at some point. Hayes asked for an update on the Universal Pictures project and Garner said, 'Yeah, that's supposed to still happen,' without divulging any additional details of timeline for the biopic that was first announced in 2020 and then put on indefinite hold as Madonna went on the road for her Celebration world tour. Garner was rumored to have landed the coveted lead role and she told the trio that the casting made perfect sense given her superfandom. Admitting that she has no formal dance training — unlike Madonna, who attended the University of Michigan on a dance scholarship and trained with famed choreographer/dancer Martha Graham — Garner, 31, said she had to learn how to dance and then show off her moves in front of Madonna herself. 'And convince her that I can dance, basically, and sing with her,' she said. When Bateman asked what that high-pressure situation was like, Garner described approaching it with a WWMD (what would Madonna do?) attitude. 'Which is like, convince you that she deserves to be in this room.. and I owned it,' she said. 'I was kind of like, 'you can take it or leave it. But if you leave it, if I leave, then that's on you. If you take it, great.'' The bottom line, Garner said, is that the stalled project is 'still brewing,' noting that anything great 'takes a long time.' After the movie was paused, Madonna appeared to tease that it was back on last July when she posted a since-deleted photo of herself sitting at a typewriter working on a screenplay entitled Who's That Girl, an apparent reference to her 1987 film and song of the same name. That news came two months after Deadline reported that Madonna had teamed up with Deadpool & Wolverine producer Shawn Levy to develop a limited Netflix series based on her life and career; at press time The Hollywood Reporter said the series is in the 'early stages' of development at the streamer. Further muddying the waters, in November, Madonna floated the idea of doing a TV series about her life, saying that a number of 'producers and agents' had told her that a movie wouldn't allow her the space to tell her whole story. 'Downsize-down scale-think smaller-they say—I realized that everything in my life is going to be challenged,' she wrote in the deleted post, asking her fans if they would prefer to see her story adapted into 'a series or a feature film.'
