After weeks of silence and controversy, comedian and YouTuber Samay Raina has returned to Instagram with a powerful and emotional post, marking his first public appearance since the backlash surrounding his show India's Got Latent .
In a black-and-white video shared today, Raina is seen walking silently toward a spotlight on an empty stage, hinting at a quiet but determined comeback. The post was captioned only with fire and cloud emojis, leaving fans to interpret its meaning, but the comments made one thing clear — 'Samay is back.' View this post on Instagram

Earlier, amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, Raina had broken his silence via Instagram Stories to share a heartfelt note about his family in Jammu. The comedian recalled his last phone call with his father, a journalist based in Jammu, who had assured him of safety despite the ongoing drone strikes and blackouts across several Indian states including Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.
'My father calls me one last time tonight from Jammu to say goodnight. His voice, steady and calm, urges me to sleep and not worry — the Indian armed forces have everything under control,' Raina wrote. 'My utmost respect to the armed forces and their families for all the sacrifices they make for our safety. Goodnight. Jai Hind,' he added, saluting the soldiers on the front lines.
This emotional message resonated with many, especially as citizens across border regions faced repeated drone threats and power outages.
Samay Raina had earlier found himself in hot water after a controversial episode of India's Got Latent sparked legal and public backlash. The show, known for its edgy humor, drew criticism after a comment by guest Ranveer Allahbadia led to multiple police complaints. Raina, the show's creator and host, was summoned thrice by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell and also faced questioning from the Guwahati Crime Branch. He later removed the episode, apologized, and cooperated with the investigation.
With canceled shows and heavy criticism, Raina had remained absent from the spotlight—until now. While the controversy still lingers, today's post signals a possible return and a new chapter for one of India's most prominent comedy creators.

MGK Searches for the ‘American Dream' in New Album Trailer Seemingly Narrated by Bob Dylan
MGK's next album will be a tribute to Americana, and it seems that he tapped one of the subculture's biggest heroes, Bob Dylan, to narrate the project's trailer. In a clip previewing the August-slated LP posted Tuesday (June 10), a voice sounding very familiar to Dylan's can be heard reading a description of the rapper-turned-rocker's Lost Americana, calling it 'a personal excavation of the American dream.' More from Billboard MGK Talks Working With Lil Wayne on 'Alone In The Studio With My Gun,' Has Two Albums Coming & More | BET Awards 2025 Quincy Jones Remembered by Lucky Daye, Luke James & Miles Caton With Smooth 2025 BET Awards Tribute Jamie Foxx Honored by Stevie Wonder & Reflects on Health Scare at BET Awards: 'You Can't Go Through Something Like That & Not Testify' 'It's a sonic map of forgotten places, a tribute to the spirit of reinvention and a quest to reclaim the essence of American freedom,' the Dylan-esque drawl says over fuzzy shots of MGK smoking, riding motorcycles, hanging out with friends, taking in a mountainous landscape in awe and walking the Las Vegas strip. 'From the glow of neon diners to the rumble of the motorcycles, this is music that celebrates the beauty found in the in-between spaces. Where the past is reimagined, and the future is forged on your own terms.' MGK further teased that Dylan is in fact the featured voice by cheekily writing in the video's caption, 'narrated by …' without revealing any names. Later, the 'My Ex's Best Friend' artist not-so-randomly shared a black-and-white photo of the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer on Instagram Stories Tuesday. Billboard has reached out to Dylan's reps for comment. Arriving Aug. 8, Lost Americana will mark MGK's seventh studio album, following 2022's Billboard 200-topper Mainstream Sellout. Leading up to its release, the artist born Colson Baker has dropped singles 'Your Name Forever' and 'Cliche,' which followed his 2024 collaborations with Jelly Roll, 'Lonely Road' and 'Time of Day.' And while a collaboration with the famously elusive Dylan might seem random, the Lost Americana trailer wouldn't be the first time he and MGK's worlds have collided (assuming that it really is the legend's voice in the narration). In February, Dylan left fans confused when, without explanation, he posted an old video of the 'I Think I'm Okay' artist rapping in a Florida music store in 2016 on Instagram. Whether that was Dylan's way of declaring that he's a fan of MGK or just a random moment, the younger musician was amused by the post. 'you having a phone is so rad,' MGK commented at the time. See MGK's Lost Americana trailer, seemingly featuring the voice of Bob Dylan, below. 'Bachelor 'Alum Vanessa Grimaldi Shares She Experienced Second Miscarriage in a Year: 'Still Feels Surreal'
Vanessa Grimaldi has experienced her second miscarriage in less than a year. On Monday, June 9, the former Bachelor star, 37, posted a series of slides on her Instagram and revealed that she experienced another miscarriage, her second in the past year. Titled "When the Heart Breaks Again: Miscarriage No. 2," the slides shared Grimaldi's candid thoughts after learning she had miscarried a second time. "This is my second miscarriage. Saying that out loud still feels surreal," Grimaldi wrote. "Especially finding out during my ultrasound. Again. It adds another layer to the grief, one that's heavier, more complicated and harder to put into words." Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Grimaldi, who is mom to son Winston, 2, shared that the only place that's bringing her peace in her home is sitting in her son's room. "It's comforting in a way I can't quite explain," Grimaldi wrote. "I'm so incredibly grateful for him. My healthy, joyful little boy," she continued. "And at the same time, my heart aches for the baby I never got to meet. I keep thinking about Winston as a newborn. All the firsts, the sleepy snuggles, the tiny milestones. I imagined getting to live through those moments again." "But instead, I'm left with the silence of what could have been. Again," wrote Grimaldi. She went on to say her mind "feels foggy" and said while she's usually good at making space for her feelings, she now just wants to stay busy and avoid the "heaviness." "Grief is strange. It sneaks in, even in the middle of gratitude," Grimaldi said. "But today, Josh helped me do one small thing just for me. He got me an iced cappuccino. Something I haven't had since finding out I was pregnant." "It felt simple. But also like the first step back to myself. A small moment of comfort in a sea of ache," she continued. "And to every mama navigating this kind of heartbreak, I'm sending you so much love and comfort." In September, Grimaldi posted a series of slides on her Instagram and shared that she experienced a miscarriage. "I wasn't sure how to share this. But, I knew I wanted to," she began. "A few months ago, I had the 2 biggest surprises: finding out I was pregnant, then finding out I miscarried," Grimaldi said. She continued, saying it took a while to allow her body to let go as she went through ultrasounds, blood tests, doctor appointments and many conversations with friends. "It was a hard yet bonding process that made me feel less alone and ultimately helped me heal," Grimaldi said. Read the original article on People
