Paige DeSorbo Will Not Return to 'Summer House' After 7 Seasons—Her Statement Explains Why

Yahoo05-06-2025
Paige Desorbo announced on her Instagram Story on June 5, 2025, that she will not return to Summer House season 10.
DeSorbo had a seven-season run on the Bravo series after joining the reality show in season 3.
The media personality will continue to host her podcast, Giggly Squad, and new YouTube show, Hannah and Paige Try New Things, with her best friend and Summer House alum Hannah Berner.Paige DeSorbo will not be summering in the Hamptons this year. While she has yet to reveal how she'll be spending the warm-weather season, one thing is official: she will not return to Summer House season 10 after a seven-season run.
DeSorbo took to her Instagram story to announce her departure from the hit Bravo show.
"I have a little life update for you: I've made the decision not to return to Summer House," she began her statement. "Being part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life - the friendships, the drama, the giggles, all unforgettable. You've seen me grow up over these last 7 summers. I'll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it's time for the chapter to close."
She continued with a message of gratitude, writing, "To my castmates, the fans, and my NBCU family: thank you. I never could've imagined what this journey would turn into - and how many of you would be along for the ride. And you haven't seen the last of me, I promise. So much more to do together, but for now you know you can always find me and Daphne in my bed."
DeSorbo first joined the reality series during season 3 with her best friend Hannah Berner. Though Berner left after two seasons, DeSorbo stayed on to become a core member of the "Bedbug Gang" with Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller. The How to Giggle author even starred in two seasons of the spinoff show, Winter House.
She struck up a romance with Craig Conover in early 2021, though the couple didn't confirm their relationship until September of that year. They called it quits in November 2024.
In addition to making her witty quips on the show, DeSorbo has also been the host of podcast Giggly Squad, along with Berner, since October 2020. Last month, the comedy duo also started a YouTube series called Hannah & Paige Try New Things.
DeSorbo's exit does not come as a huge shock, as she hinted at an eventual end during an April 2025 interview with Glamour. 'There's an end date for me at some point. With the lifestyle of Summer House specifically, I'm probably not fitting into the original show idea anymore,' she said. 'Whenever I see a comment that's like, 'She's a little too old to be on this,' I'm like, 'Yeah, I kind of am.''
Fans were also quick to notice DeSorbo removed "Summer House" from her Instagram bio last month.
While DeSorbo will not be enjoying the big house in Southhampton Town, she will surely be busy giggling with Berner and working on her new sleepwear line, Daphne, set to drop online on June 10.

Brooke Hogan did not attend Hulk Hogan's funeral: ‘He didn't want one'

Brooke Hogan, daughter of recently deceased pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan, did not attend her father's funeral Tuesday. The WWE star was estranged from his daughter for years prior to his death. Brooke Hogan said that while there was no 'big fight,' their estrangement was due to 'a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know or understand.' Instead of attending the funeral, Brooke celebrated her father's life with her husband and newborn twins at the beach. In an Instagram post the day of the funeral, she commented, 'My father hated the morbidity of funerals.' Further down, she wrote, 'I had to make my own decision to honor him the best and most genuine way I knew how … privately… the way that made me feel the closest to him.' According to a medical examiner's report, Terry Bollea — better known as Hulk Hogan — died July 24. An acute myocardial infarction, or a heart attack, caused his death, a consequence of atrial fibrillation and chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a kind of slow-moving cancer. The younger Hogan, however, carries doubts about her father's cause of death. According to E! Magazine, she said, 'They're saying, 'Oh, he had leukemia.' And I saw his blood work every time. One doctor, I quote, said his blood is like a 25-year-old's.' Later in the interview, she said that 'we don't have cancer that runs in our family. It just seems weird.'

Two Outside Lands performers drop out due to illness

Two Outside Lands performers have canceled their upcoming appearances just days before the music festival is set to return to San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Both German DJ Koze, who was scheduled for Friday, Aug. 8, and English rock band Wunderhorse, expected to perform on Saturday, Aug. 9, cited health troubles as their reason for dropping out. English DJ Bonobo will now take over DJ Koze's 4:40 p.m. slot on the SOMA stage. Organizers have not announced an artist to replace Wunderhorse's 2:20 p.m. set on the Twin Peaks stage as of Wednesday, Aug. 6. DJ Koze explained he is experiencing 'an acute infection with persistent physical exhaustion and fever,' in an Instagram story posted Tuesday, Aug. 5. Jacob Slater, frontman of Wunderhorse, noted the same day that it is taking longer than expected for him to recover from a recent dental procedure. 'The wound from my tooth surgery is still not fully healed,' Slater posted to Wunderhorse's X account. 'I have been advised that I should not perform for a further 7 days to allow it to heal.' In addition to his Outside Lands appearance, DJ Koze has canceled upcoming appearances at Denver's Civic Center Park on Wednesday, Aug. 6, and Los Angeles' Grand Park on Saturday. Wunderhorse canceled performances at Brooklyn's Warsaw on Tuesday and the Fonda in Los Angeles on Thursday, Aug. 7. This year's event will also see the launch of the new Duboce Triangle stage, which will open each day with a specially selected fan performance. Fan favorites returning to Golden Gate Park include Dolores', the inclusive queer dance floor; SOMA, the open-air electronic dance music space; and the Latin dance music space, Casa Bacardí.
