Masked gang targets £2m home of Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley that she shares with football husband star Phil
Tanya posted video footage of her football manager husband Phil Bardsley talking to police outside their home in Wilmslow, Cheshire, in the early hours of this morning.
It is believed officers were alerted after the would-be robbers were picked up on the couple's security system.
Luckily the masked gang were scared off before they were able to break into the property.
A source told The Sun: 'The family was home at the time, but luckily nobody was harmed.
'Security and police turned up as fast they could, but the two masked men got away.'
Tanya, 44, took to Instagram to warn other neighbours about the attempted break-in.
She wrote: 'Two masked men in Wilmslow. Lock your doors, put your cameras on and call the police if you see them.'
'Thank God for Taurus Security Group,' the TV personality added.
Macclesfield Town FC assistant manager Paul could be seen wearing just a pair of blue shorts and Crocs as he spoke to police.
Tanya, who made her TV debut on The Real Housewives of Cheshire in 2015, is the show's longest serving cast member.
She married Phil in 2014 and the couple share four children together, Rocco, Renz, Ralphi and Gabriella.
Last month they revealed they would be filming a new family reality ITVBe series The Bardsley Brunch.
The Kardashian style series will follow the ups and downs of the couple's life with their children and Tanya's parents Julie and Steve and her nan Irene.
The production team has installed GoPro cameras throughout their home and placed small microphones in plant pots and on picture frames to capture the families life.
It comes after Tanya recalled how she 'didn't understand the world' before her ADHD diagnosis as she gave an insight into her 'chaotic' family life.
The Real Housewives star, who was diagnosed back in 2020, has been open about her struggle and her son Rocco's diagnosis.
Speaking ahead of their new six-part series reality show, Tanya spoke about her home life.
In an interview with OK! Magazine, Tanya described them as 'more like the Clampetts who won the lottery' than the Kardashians as she teased what fans can expect from their show.
Rocco, 16, received his ADHD diagnosis shortly after Tanya shared hers, and she has now told how they live in a house where 'everyone is on the spectrum somewhere'.
She told the publication: 'I'm really proud my children will grow up feeling differently to how I did, because I want them to feel accepted and proud of who they are.
'I feel quite sad for the younger me. She struggled so much and didn't really understand the world.
'This world isn't built for all of us, trying to sit in a classroom in a certain way and learn in a certain way.
'But Rocco just isn't bothered by having ADHD at all, and actually he's quite proud of it now.'

And afterwards, Salah stood in front of the Kop soaking in the moment as supporters sang Jota's name. "We know that this will be a very emotional occasion, given it is the first league game we have played since we lost Diogo and Andre,' Arne Slot had said in his pre-match programme notes. "As I have said previously, the tributes that have been paid throughout the football world, and especially within the LFC community, have been truly special, and I know that tonight we will come together to honour them once more.' Reds captain Virgil van Dijk added in his notes: 'It will be a very emotional occasion for everybody associated with the club, and especially for Diogo's wife, Rute, their children and his family, who will be in attendance this evening. Liverpool vs Bournemouth: Premier League to investigate after Antoine Semenyo reports racist abuse
The Premier League has said it will launch a full investigation after Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo reported being racially abused by a supporter during the match against Liverpool at Anfield. Match referee Anthony Taylor stopped play in the 29th minute and spoke with managers Arne Slot and Andoni Iraola before respective captains Virgil van Dijk and Adam Smith were called over to the dug-outs. It is understood police officers went into the referee's room at half-time, while an anti-discrimination message was read out to the Anfield crowd. A Premier League statement read: 'Tonight's match between Liverpool Football Club and AFC Bournemouth was temporarily paused during the first half after a report of discriminatory abuse from the crowd, directed at Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo. 'This is in line with the Premier League's on-field anti-discrimination protocol. 'The incident at Anfield will now be fully investigated. We offer our full support to the player and both clubs. ' Racism has no place in our game, or anywhere in society. We will continue to work with stakeholders and authorities to ensure our stadiums are an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.' Sky Sports co-commentator Gary Neville said: 'It overshadows what should be an amazing night. First game of the Premier League season, a beautiful day, 62,000 fans in the stadium and that boy (Semenyo) basically has been racially abused and has had to go over to a referee to complain about it. 'I can't even begin to think what would be going through someone's mind, however it's happened and it'll keep on happening and it's a sorry state.' Mohamed Salah secured a 4-2 victory for Liverpool.
