Taco Bell Is Putting A Spin (And Heat) On Its Quesadilla In 2025
When Taco Bell CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) Taylor Montgomery burst onto the stage with a hilarious, high-energy roll call of all the Taco Bell menu items coming in 2025, we weren't expecting to have our jaws dropped by a fresh take on the quesadilla. First, Montgomery recounted recent limited-time menu hits, like the currently available birthday cake churros that are a collab with Milk Bar. Then, he dropped the bombshell: 2025 is going to be the year of carne asada at Taco Bell. You can soon expect a Carne Asada Poblano Rolled Quesadilla that is guaranteed to be your new, spicy obsession. It looks a bit more like a burrito than the flat quesadilla style you know and love, and there's a piquant surprise on the inside: a green poblano pepper!

Montgomery made the very salient point that "the quesadilla is perfect no matter how you eat it," whether you choose to "roll it, flip it, [or] fold it." Taco Bell took that rolling step to heart and paired grilled marinated steak, a three-cheese blend, and a spicy pepper to make a crave-able spin on quesadillas that we already can't wait to try. No word on when the rolled quesadillas are coming to a Bell near you, but Live Más LIVE attendees got to exclusively sample it for the first time, proving the adage that some people have all the luck. Like the normal quesadilla, the new item is made with a flour tortilla, which excludes it from Taco Bell's limited gluten-free menu.
Like you, we're fiends for a saucy moment, and we're already picturing the dipping possibilities that a rolled quesadilla invites. Queso? Guacamole? The new hot honey Diablo sauce that Montgomery mentioned? Yes, yes, and yes! Until we see an announcement that the Carne Asada Poblano Rolled Quesadilla is ready to be ordered, however, we'll have to stick to our normal tricks like the viral hack of creating folded quesadillas in the toaster. It'll work for now, but we're on tenterhooks waiting for the cheesy, beefy, spicy Taco Bell version, to be sure.

Taylor Swift Breaks Donald Trump's Record For Most Podcast Views In An Hour
We're sure there will be bad blood. Taylor Swift has broken a record previously held by President Donald Trump. On Wednesday, the Grammy winner appeared on the New Heights podcast hand-in-hand with her boyfriend and co-host Travis Kelce, as his older brother, Jason Kelce, interviewed Swift for a little over two hours. The Daily Beast reports that 1.3 million viewers tuned to watch the podcast episode on YouTube within the first hour that it was online. The outlet notes that reps for the 'Shake It Off' singer confirmed the number. The figure trumps the record previously held by Trump. His appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience in Oct. 2024 saw 800,000 people tune in within the first hour, according to CNN data analyst Harry Enten. CNN host Kate Bolduan also noted Wednesday the episode is 'already on track to become one of the most watched podcasts of all time.' Trump will likely be pretty peeved about Swift mopping him up. The president expressed hostility towards the 'Blank Space' singer after she publicly endorsed Kamala Harris in the build-up to the 2024 presidential election. Big Event Media / Getty Images 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,' he wrote in all caps on his Truth Social platform at the time. A real post from Trump's Truth Social account: 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT' — philip lewis (@Phil_Lewis_) September 15, 2024 @Phil_Lewis_/X/@realDonaldTrump/TruthSocial / Via We suppose that at least 1.3 million people think otherwise.

New Heights' YouTube glitch raises concerns about Chiefs-Chargers in Week 1
Whenever the NFL migrates to a new streaming platform, concerns emerge as to whether it will work. As it relates to the upcoming Week 1 game to be streamed for free on YouTube, a concern has emerged as to whether it will work. As noted by Chris Bumbaca of USA Today, a glitch in the live stream of megastar Taylor Swift's visit to the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce has raised the question of whether Chiefs-Chargers, which happens three weeks from tonight, will support 20 million or more concurrent streams. The New Heights stream abruptly ended with 15 minutes left in show. While it was resolved, it's fair to ask whether there will be any outages during Chiefs-Chargers. A Google spokesperson told Bumbaca that the New Heights glitch was not a YouTube issue. While there's nothing wrong with being concerned, it would be a surprise if the game doesn't stream without issue. Netflix's Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight has significant issues. Six weeks later, a pair of Christmas games on Netflix worked without incident. YouTube knows what it needs. And the league wouldn't have been inclined to make a bet with YouTube if the NFL wasn't sure YouTube could deliver. We'll find out in 21 days.

Sophie Rain Leaves MrBeast Speechless After Dropping $1 Million on Charity Livestream
Sophie Rain, the 20-year-old OnlyFans star who claims to have made more than $80 million on the platform, had the internet buzzing Thursday night when she called into MrBeast's TeamWater charity livestream and gave $1 million to the cause. The YouTube goliath, which is streaming alongside Adin Ross and xQc, was seemingly left speechless when Rain made the announcement. 'I've been wanting to donate,' Rain said over the call. 'I'm just not sure how to, so I'm glad you called me because I want to donate $1 million, is what I want to donate.' MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, replied with both hands over his mouth and eyes wide with shock: 'You sure?!' Rain replied resolutely, 'I am 100% sure. This is an awesome cause. I appreciate everything you do and you're just an amazing person, and I just want to support this because it's awesome.' TeamWater's Global Goal The #TeamWater initiative, a collaboration between MrBeast and other content creator Mark Rober, aims to raise $40 million in August to provide clean water to millions of individuals worldwide. More than 3,000 influencers have committed to the cause, and as of morning on Friday, MrBeast's stream alone had generated over $10 million in pledge commitments toward its target of $12 million. Overall across the campaign, donations totaled $29.3 million. Rain's $1 million pledge puts her in the top 20 donor charts, together with large gifts from Citadel CEO Ken Griffin ($2.25 million), ($2 million), Shopify CEO Tobias Lütke ($1.5 million), and a $2 million matching fund made by Google and YouTube. Sophie Rain's Controversial Fortune Rain, who lives in Miami, boasts more than 500,000 OnlyFans subscribers and 20 million on her other social media platforms. She has shared on X that the adult-content empire she began in July 2023 has generated $80.1 million in earnings, which bought a private plane, seven luxury cars, and a $2.7 million farmhouse on 20 acres. In a sarcastic post after the pledge, Rain replied to detractors: 'call it dirty money, but i still donated $1m more than you did ???? thank you for the opportunity #TeamWater.' Her Message on Giving Back In a release through her reps, Rain framed the donation as only one aspect of a larger good: 'Access to clean water is something that we all take for granted, but to millions of others, it's an ongoing struggle. This donation is my way of using my platform for something that counts. I wanted to give back in something that would have immediate and tangible effect.' She continued, 'Not everybody can donate a million dollars, and that's okay. Even a little bit can change one's life. If my donation inspires other people to do something, then it's worth every penny.'
