The police confiscated Manoj's phone for further investigation. It was found that the phone had been recording for 1 hour and 40 minutes, but no people were visible in the footage. Manoj confessed to placing the camera and claimed this was the only video he had made. However, police are still checking his other devices.

Poppy husk worth 13L seized after hot pursuit
Palanpur: The local crime branch of Aravalli district along with Malpur police personnel seized 437kg of poppy husk that was smuggled in from Mandsaur in MP when they chased down and intercepted an Innova car near Malpur bus stand despite the suspects shooting at them. While the driver was apprehended, his accomplice managed to escape. Police also seized a country-made pistol, live cartridges, phones and the vehicle used in the crime. According to investigators, the consignment was being smuggled from Mandsaur in MP, through Gujarat, to Rajasthan. Acting on specific intelligence, police tried to flag down a suspicious silver Innova near Galiyadanti toll plaza. The driver sped away towards Malpur, leading to a chase. Near Malpur bus station, the accused allegedly fired a round from a pistol at the police van. Fortunately, the bullet missed. The vehicle was eventually cornered and the driver — Sohnalal, son of Sadarambhai Poonmaram Bishnoi, of Barmer, Rajasthan —was arrested. His associate managed to flee. Police seized 21 sacks of poppy husk (437kg) valued at Rs 13.12 lakh, a country-made pistol (Rs 10,000), two cartridges, two mobile phones (Rs 25,000) and the Innova car (Rs 10 lakh), for a total value of Rs 23.47 lakh. A case was registered under the NDPS Act, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita , Arms Act Sections (25(1)(a), 27(1)) and the Motor Vehicles Act at Malpur police station. Police have named four absconding accused in the FIR: Manohar Bishnoi and Raju of Mandsaur, Bhupendra Bishnoi of Sanchore in Rajasthan and an unidentified accomplice. ‘Four booked for 29-year-old tribal man's death in Chhota Udepur': Police
Four men have been booked in connection with the alleged murder of a 29-year-old tribal man in Chhota Udepur district's Bodeli area, said police adding a probe is underway into the matter. According to Bodeli police station officials, the victim, identified as Sahdev Baria, allegedly jumped from a bridge over Meria river on Monday to reportedly 'escape' an assault by the accused over a tractor that he had taken from one of the accused for a relative. Baria died during treatment late on Monday night. An FIR into the case was registered at the Bodeli police station based on a complaint from Baria's uncle, Govind Baria. According to the FIR, the four accused, including the owner of a tractor showroom in Bodeli, allegedly waylaid Baria while he was riding his two-wheeler through the Meria river bridge and attacked him. The case details were narrated by Baria, when he was found in an injured state by his family under the bridge, according to the FIR. Baria, who was earlier employed at the tractor showroom had a fallout with its owner, Jigesh Ishwarbhai, over a tractor taken for a relative, states the FIR. As per the FIR, Baria had paid Rs 2 lakh to Ishwarbhai for a tractor before handing it over to his relative. 'At that time, Sahdev (Baria) got along well with Jigesh Ishwarbhai… However, soon the owner took back the tractor and fired Sahdev from the job… later he started demanding more money for the tractor and even assaulted Sahdev on the Meria bridge for the same reason,' said the FIR. Apart from the show-room owner, other accused have been identified by their first names as Hemant and Jigesh and an unidentified accused. The FIR states that Baria's family, on receiving a call from an acquaintance, had rushed to the crime spot and found the victim lying under the bridge. Baria was rushed to a private hospital, where he recorded his dying declaration and later succumbed to his injuries, said police. The accused have been booked under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections for attempting to commit culpable homicide (110), voluntarily causing hurt (115), wrongful restraint (126) and criminal intimidation [351(2)], among others, said the police. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
