(Video) Female Fan Pushed Through Group Of Bodyguards To Take Photo With HK Actor Kenneth Ma
Some fans would do anything to get close to their favourite celebrity. Recently, a female fan pushed through bodyguards to take a photo with Hong Kong actor Kenneth Ma (馬國明), prompting mixed reactions from netizens.
Kenneth was recently in Malaysia to perform at the 'Star Glories Shine' concert alongside other TVB stars, including Edwin Siu (蕭正楠), Katy Kung (龔嘉欣) and Joel Chan (陳山聰). The event was held at the Arena of Stars at Resorts World Genting, so naturally, the stars casually walked around the iconic tourist destination. Unfortunately, that also meant crowds of fans following the celebrities wherever they went to try to take photos.
One video posted on social media shows Kenneth walking around the resort while escorted by a group of bodyguards. However, a few fans were trying to push through the crowd, likely to take photos with the actor. One female fan was trying to squeeze through two bodyguards, making it difficult for Kenneth to move. While the security personnel were trying to push the fan away, Kenneth kindly allowed the fan to take a photo with him.
Not only was the actor not angry at the pushy fan, but he told the bodyguards to allow the fan to take a photo with him. Upon getting the okay from Kenneth, the female fan immediately got close and took her picture. Kenneth also had a smile on his face despite the crowd, showing how considerate he is to fans. The same clip also showed him taking a photo with another fan just after the chaotic scene earlier.
Many netizens have since reacted to the video, sharing mixed responses. Many praised the actor for his humble and warm character, noting how he graciously took photos with fans when asked. Some also said his gentlemanly side was what won him many fans. However, others criticised the female fan for trying to push through the crowd for her photo, lamenting that she could've accidentally hurt those around her.
While Kenneth was kind enough to stop for fans, we don't encourage pushing through crowds to get closer to your favourite star. We're just glad no one was hurt, and we hope Kenneth wasn't too upset by the chaos.

HK-born actor Chapman To celebrates 20th wedding anniversary with ex-TVB star Kristal Tin
Hong Kong-born Taiwanese actor Chapman To and former TVB star Kristal Tin recently marked their 20th wedding anniversary with an intimate gathering of close friends. Among the guests was actor Anthony Wong, who made a special trip to Taiwan to join the pair in celebrating the milestone. On June 7, To, 53, shared a throwback photo from his wedding to Tin, 47, surrounded by famous friends such as Andy Lau, Wong Jing and Shawn Yue – all of whom reportedly served as his groomsmen. The couple tied the knot in June 2005 after six years of dating. 'Today, 20 years later, some people remain while others have moved on. I wish everyone happiness. To me, happiness means letting go of the past, not worrying about the future and simply embracing the present moment,' To captioned his Facebook post. He also uploaded a photo with Anthony Wong on his Instagram Story, adding that the 63-year-old is the only groomsman he still keeps in touch with after all these years. The actor then capped off the celebration by posting a short video of Tin talking about how he had transformed her life. Meanwhile, Tin reflected on Instagram how her perception of the word 'tolerance' has evolved over the years. The Brother's Keeper (2012) star admitted that she once perceived the term negatively, saying: 'Why do I have to tolerate things after marriage? Didn't we love each other so much that we couldn't help but be together in the first place?' However, Tin shared that her perception has now shifted, and she views tolerance not as putting up with one's flaws but peacefully accepting them. 'Happy 20th anniversary. Please continue to give me your guidance in the future,' she wrote, alongside a photo with To and their dog.

HK actress Tavia Yeung attends Raymond Lam's concert, then takes bus to supper
The two stars have been friends for over 25 years and even acted together in a couple of TVB dramas including the 2010 drama 'The Mysteries Of Love'. Photo: Tavia Yeung/Instagram Hong Kong actor-singer Raymond Lam is one lucky guy. Not only did he have a lineup of guest performers – including former co-star Linda Chung – at his concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum, he also drew a crowd of celebrity friends to support him in the audience. On one of the seven nights of his concert series, former TVB actress Tavia Yeung was spotted among the crowd. Yeung and Lam go way back, having been friends for over 25 years since graduating from TVB's 13th acting class together. Their fellow classmates include Mat Yeung, Tsui Wing, Meini Cheung, Raymond Chiu, Jones Lee, Bond Chan and Olivia Fu. It's believed that Tavia Yeung attended the concert with some of her former classmates. She and Lam have starred together in several TVB dramas, including Golden Faith , Twin Of Brothers , Face To Fate and The Mysteries Of Love . During the concert, Lam apparently noticed Yeung in the crowd after she shouted, 'See you at hotpot later!' – a line that caught his attention, according to a report by And true to her word, fans later spotted Yeung heading out for steamboat after the concert. Even more impressively, she took the public bus with her pals. Though she wore a purple face mask, passengers quickly recognised her. She even waved at some of them. Later, she took to Instagram to post a photo of herself with her friends making the journey on the bus. Her caption reads: "After watching Raymond Lam's concert last night, I took the bus to go have hotpot at Tsui Wing's place. It was basically a big Hong Kong Coliseum class reunion that Raymond organised for our 13th intake. So happy, it was so much fun, so much fun, so much fun!" As for whether Lam actually joined her at hotpot? That remains a mystery. But we wouldn't be surprised as Yeung has opted to celebrate her birthday with her fellow TVB acting class graduates instead of husband actor Him Law, before.
