Gaza Health Ministry: Catastrophic Famine Deadly Massacres Near 'Death Trap' Aid Centers
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has warned of a catastrophic famine and deadly massacres near American aid distribution centers—described as "death traps"—threatening the lives of thousands in the besieged Strip.
In a press statement on Saturday received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the Ministry confirmed that Gaza is currently experiencing a real famine, marked by severe shortages of basic food supplies, widespread acute malnutrition, and a total lack of medical capacity to treat the consequences.
The Ministry reported a noticeable rise in deaths resulting from hunger and malnutrition. It added that Nasser Medical Complex received 32 bodies and dozens of injured individuals since dawn today, following an Israeli massacre targeting civilians at U.S. aid distribution sites in southern Gaza.
The Ministry warned of an unprecedented health and humanitarian disaster if the current international silence continues.
It called on the international community, United Nations agencies, and human rights organizations to take immediate and effective action to stop the ongoing massacres and to open humanitarian corridors for the safe and regular delivery of food, medicine, and fuel.
