John Cena to win the Money in the Bank match 2025 despite not being an advertised participant? All we know

Time of India04-06-2025
The Money in the Bank match 2025 is around the corner, and it has the potential to change careers. The men's contest will see LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, Andrade, Penta, Seth Rollins and El Grande Americano locking horns for the coveted briefcase. However, in a weird twist, John Cena may win the match despite not even being an advertised participant .
John Cena to win the Money in the Bank match?
John Cena turned heel at Elimination Chamber 2025 on The Rock's instructions and vowed to 'ruin' wrestling on his way out of the business. He then beat Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 to capture the Undisputed title. At Saturday Night's Main Event,
'The Franchise Player' set his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship and tried to cost the reigning champion Jey Uso his match against Logan Paul but his plan was foiled by 'QB1'. Cena could not try to make life difficult for 'The Yeet Master' by winning the briefcase and cashing in on him. This could create a situation where he walks away with both the Undisputed and the Heavyweight belts when he retires from in-ring competition later this year.
Cena is not a participant in the match but could be added to it at the last minute on The Rock's instructions. 'The Final Boss' is a board member of TKO, which (in storyline) could explain the move. Cody Rhodes recently mentioned 'The Great One' on SmackDown, suggesting that he could return to WWE programming somewhere down the line.
Interestingly, if Cena does indeed win the contract it won't be the first time that an unannounced participant walks away with the briefcase, which guarantees the holder a shot at the Undisputed or World Heavyweight title. Brock Lesnar had previously entered the match unannounced and emerged victorious.
That said, the angle with Cena is purely speculative at this point.
Are you ready for the Money in the Bank event?
Cena, meanwhile, will be teaming up with Logan Paul to take on Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. The show will be aired on Netflix in India on June 8. The card also features the likes of Naomi, Becky Lynch, and Stephanie Vaquer.

Jenna Ortega is all set to commit dirty deeds in the final part of Wednesday Season 2, watch trailer

Netflix on Thursday released the trailer for the final part of Wednesday's second season. The Addams family are yet to finish the journey they began back in 2022, and this time around some different faces will have their hands on the reins of the story. The main cast are all returning, including Jenna Ortega, Luiz Guzman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, and Gwendoline Christie. Following the events of the first part, Wednesday finds herself admitted to a hospital of sorts, where she encounters someone she definitely wasn't expecting by her side, Principal Larissa Weems. The dazed teenager takes time to adjust to the fact that she is in fact not dead and is told by Weems that she is her new spirit guide. She was stranded at the school without her psychic powers and had to rely on her wit and sharp detective skills in order to solve the age-old murders that she had stumbled upon. With the help of her chaotic and crazy uncle Fester, Ortega did begin to solve the murder mystery and stumbled upon Lois, who wasn't a person at all but an acronym for something dark and sinister. The trailer then shows the entire Addams family, who are still as determined and weird as ever. As they assemble together, Wednesday says, 'We don't solve anything in this family with words; we do it with deeds, most of them dirty.' An eerie voice-over reminds Wednesday about the urgency of the matter and tells her to hurry before she has nothing left to save. The new season of Wednesday will be available for streaming on Netflix from September 3.

The Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 Trailer Drops Major Surprises, Including Principal Weems And a Hint of Lady Gaga

Wednesday season 2 is set to return to the screens with Part 2. Netflix has dropped the trailer for the final four episodes of the season, which bring back the fan-favorite character, Principal Weems, played by Gwendoline Christie. Moreover, the highly anticipated Lady Gaga will also be making an appearance. While the details of the character that is to be portrayed by the musician are still kept under wraps, her voice is heard in the preview. The story for the second half will be picked up from the ending of the fourth episode, where the audience witnessed that Wednesday Addams was thrown out of the window, and she was lying in blood. What to expect from Wednesday season 2 part 2? The trailer opens with Jenna Ortega's character, Wednesday Addams, waking up from a coma after she was thrown out of the window. At the Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital, she is greeted by Principal Weems, who comes dressed as a nurse and says, 'Rise and shine, sleepyhead! Ready for your sponge bath?' It then cuts to Ortega and Christie's characters in a dream-like sequence. They open the door, which leads to nowhere. Weems says to Wednesday, 'This isn't hell, Miss Adams, but I understand the confusion.' When the latter asks, 'If I'm not dead, why are you here?' The principal quips, 'Because I am your new spirit guide. Surprise!' Elsewhere in the trailer, Wednesday reveals to Enid that she is in grave danger while also revealing that Tyler was going to kill them both. In response, Enid goes on to say to Wednesday, 'Fix it? You're the reason he escaped.' Finally, the trailer closes with a voice-over by Lady Gaga, who is heard saying, 'Beware, there will be a price to pay.' Ever since the announcement of the pop icon making an appearance, fans have been excited to know what depth the musician's character will bring into the ongoing storyline. Wednesday season 2, part 2, will be available to stream on Netflix from September 3.
