How Digital Platform Muzz is Redefining the Muslim Love Story
Alright, single Muslims of the world (and the occasional concerned parent lurking in the background). We get it. The halal dating scene isn't precisely… thrilling. That's because Muslims don't date, they marry! You've either got nosy aunties setting you up with someone who 'works in finance' (read: unemployed) or apps that make you feel like you're auditioning for Swipe Island: Muslim Edition.
That's why Muzz is here to save your love life (and your sanity). Muzz is not about endless swiping or half-hearted convos with people who ghost you faster than you can 'kaifak'. Nope. It is about serious intentions, serious people and beautiful marriages without compromising any of your values.
With 12 million users worldwide, Muzz is the Biggest Muslim Marriage App on the Planet. Over 500,000 couples have been 'nikkahfied' thanks to Muzz. They are basically the halal e-cupid of the Muslim world.
Are you tired of matches who chat once and then vanish into the digital void? Muzz has a Ghost-Free Zone with a five-chat limit; you can only chat with five people simultaneously. And yes, their filters work, and they're free! You can narrow your matches by age, sect, and religious practice so you only see people who tick all your boxes.
But it's not just about matches; it's about safety. With female-friendly features like Privacy Mode, Wali Mode (for chaperoned chats), Anti-Screenshot (because no one needs your profile circulating in random WhatsApp groups), Photo Blur and Verified Profiles, all for free without the paid Gold membership. These features are designed to make your experience more safe and respectful.
Muzz has borne witness to over half a million success stories, from cross-country romances to childhood neighbors who realized, 'Oh, maybe you're not that annoying after all.'
For example, Ameer from Ohio and Hannah from Manchester. Ameer almost gave up after sending his last compliment of the day when Hannah finally responded. Months of chatting later, he got his passport to see her, flew across the Atlantic, and popped the question after meeting her family. Fast forward to today, they're happily married and planning their future together.
Or take Ghussan, born and raised in Saudi Arabia. He found his perfect match just four days after joining Muzz. He was drawn to Fatima's unique blend of ambition, aspiring to become both a doctor and an alima. It didn't take him long to realize she was the one. Despite the challenges of traveling during COVID-19, he made his way to Panama all the way from KSA, and two months later, they tied the knot. And for parents worrying if this is respectable enough for their child, don't panic. Muzz was made for those with serious marriage intentions only and their safety features ensure that catfishing and ghosting is eliminated. Plus, with Wali mode, you can even be part of the process and ensure their safety.

WhatsApp Says Russia Attempts to Block Service for more than 100 Million Users
Taarek Refaat WhatsApp, owned by U.S. tech giant Meta, accused Russian authorities of attempting to block its services for more than 100 million users in the country, citing the app's refusal to weaken its end-to-end encryption standards. In a statement, the company stressed that WhatsApp 'is private, end-to-end encrypted, and will challenge any government's attempt to undermine people's right to secure communication.' It pledged to 'do everything possible to keep this encrypted service available to everyone, including users in Russia.' The remarks come after Moscow began restricting certain calls on WhatsApp and Telegram, accusing foreign platforms of failing to cooperate with law enforcement on cases related to fraud and terrorism. The move underscores a deepening standoff between Western technology companies and the Russian government, which is tightening control over information flows within its borders. The dispute is part of a broader pattern in Russia's digital landscape, where platforms such as Telegram, Google, and YouTube have previously faced blocks or heavy restrictions under laws aimed at monitoring online content and user data. For WhatsApp, holding the line on encryption is both a privacy principle and a brand statement, even at the risk of losing market share in Russia. read more CBE: Deposits in Local Currency Hit EGP 5.25 Trillion Morocco Plans to Spend $1 Billion to Mitigate Drought Effect Gov't Approves Final Version of State Ownership Policy Document Egypt's Economy Expected to Grow 5% by the end of 2022/23- Minister Qatar Agrees to Supply Germany with LNG for 15 Years Business Oil Prices Descend amid Anticipation of Additional US Strategic Petroleum Reserves Business Suez Canal Records $704 Million, Historically Highest Monthly Revenue Business Egypt's Stock Exchange Earns EGP 4.9 Billion on Tuesday Business Wheat delivery season commences on April 15 Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News The Jessica Radcliffe Orca Attack? 100% Fake and AI-Generated

Nabhan also emphasized the significant progress made through the Authority's adoption of smart and developmental initiatives that have directly enhanced sector efficiency and user experience. These efforts include the launch of the 'Rosoom' e-payment system, the integration of payment methods such as AMEX and Apple Pay, and the activation of self-service options via WhatsApp and smart kiosks. Additionally, the Authority has automated the Marine Crew Evaluation Booking process, reducing manual intervention and achieving high operational efficiency. Hamed Ali Hassan, Director of Maritime Registration at Dubai Maritime Authority, emphasized the importance of participating in such workshops to exchange knowledge and share best practices that highlight the continued efforts of legislative bodies—particularly Dubai Maritime Authority—in enhancing regulatory frameworks. The Authority also presented its outstanding performance over the past year, which has bolstered Dubai's position as a regional and global leader in maritime services. Hassan stressed that the Authority places strong emphasis on the regulation of marine leisure activities, urging users to obtain prior permits from the relevant authorities that manage or own private areas. He also highlighted the importance of avoiding obstruction of navigational paths or disturbing other sea users. The Authority enforces restrictions on access to Dubai Water Canal for certain marine vessels to maintain user safety and ensure smooth navigation. He added: 'We are continuously updating systems and services to ensure a smart, safe, and advanced marine environment that meets user expectations and supports the sector's sustainability. We emphasize the need for proper regulation of marine leisure activities and obtaining the required permits to avoid practices that may negatively impact maritime safety'. Dubai Maritime Authority continues to pursue its strategic vision to transform Dubai into a global hub for innovation and sustainability in the maritime sector through initiatives focused on marine environmental protection, biodiversity enhancement, and the creation of a safe, future-ready marine ecosystem for all users.

Parkin and CAFU Launch Region's First On‑Demand Fuel and Car Wash Service Across the Company's Parking Portfolio
Parkin Company PJSC 'Parkin' or the 'Company', the largest provider of paid public parking facilities and services in Dubai, has entered a strategic partnership with CAFU, a world leading on demand fuel delivery and vehicle services platform, to deliver convenient, value-added automative services directly to Parkin's customers across its parking portfolio. As part of the agreement, CAFU will offer on-demand fuel delivery and car wash services for vehicles parked at the Company's parking facilities. The collaboration forms part of Parkin's broader growth strategy to expand its integrated service offering. Parkin customers will be able to request fuel delivery or a car wash by clicking on the link sent through SMS / WhatsApp and, in the near future, directly through Parkin's mobile app, while CAFU users may continue to access the services via the CAFU app as usual. Beyond offering simplicity and convenience, delivering these services directly to customers will help reduce the need for multiple individual trips to fuel stations and car washes, helping to reduce traffic congestion and associated direct and indirect emissions. The pressurised wash system helps to reduce water consumption, reinforcing both companies' commitment to the UAE's Green Agenda 2030 and their role in driving a more sustainable future. Powered by a unified system integrating both platforms, the refuelling and car wash services are scheduled to launch on Thursday, 14 August 2025. The long-term agreement reflects Parkin and CAFU's shared commitment to innovation, digital integration and customer-centric service delivery. The partnership is expected to generate annual revenues of AED 5 to 7 million for Parkin, with no capital investment required, highlighting the strong commercial viability of the alliance. Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, commented: 'This unique partnership with CAFU marks a significant achievement in our mission to enhance the Parkin customer experience. By offering on-demand fuel delivery and car wash services, delivered directly to vehicles parked in our spaces, we are turning idle parking time into a moment of convenience. Expanding our portfolio of value-added services is a key pillar of our growth strategy and this collaboration reflects our commitment to delivering innovative, time-saving solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. The agreement serves to underscore our ambition to transform Parkin into an integrated, customer focused, mobility platform, powered by digital innovation and meaningful partnerships. We are proud to join forces with CAFU, a homegrown technology leader, as we continue to shape the future of urban mobility in Dubai.' Rashid Al Ghurair, Founder and CEO of CAFU, commented: 'At CAFU, we have never just been about fuelling cars. Our mission is to reinvent what it means to own one. Smarter. Simpler. Seamless. Partnering with Parkin takes that mission straight to where our customers already are, in the very heart of the city's parking network. Now, topping up your tank or getting your car washed to perfection is not another task on your to-do list; it happens while you are parked up at one of Parkin's locations.
