New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani recently hosted an extravagant three-day celebration for his wedding at his family's luxurious estate in Uganda, according to a report by The New York Post.
The 33-year-old Mamdani and his bride, Rama Duwaji, 27, first hosted their engagement and wedding ceremony in Dubai back in December, followed by a civil ceremony in New York City. The latest celebrations took place in Uganda, Mamdani's birthplace, at the family's estate located in Buziga Hill, a wealthy suburb of Kampala, the nation's capital.
The report stated that the Buziga Hill neighbourhood is popular for its affluent residents, including prominent Ugandan billionaire Godfrey Kirumira. The Mamdani estate, perched on two acres of manicured grounds overlooking Lake Victoria, features a private residence with multiple security gates.

Security at the event was reportedly tight, and elite security forces were stationed around the property, and a cellphone-jamming system was in place to maintain privacy during the exclusive, invite-only affair.
'Outside the Mamdani house were more than 20 special forces command unit guards, some in masks, and there was a phone-jamming system set up — and all for the strictly invite-only Mamdani event,' one attendee told The New York Post. 'One gate had around nine guards stationed at it,' the source added.

Sharing the milestone on social media, production house Hombale Films wrote, ' ₹ 210 CRORES+ worldwide gross & counting… Mahavatar Narsimha continues the glorious run, shattering records and winning the love of millions worldwide.' At the Indian box office, the film's momentum remains strong. That's not all, the film has become the highest-grossing animated film in India. 'When we get this kind of reception, it proves that Indian films have an audience. And even for Disney movies, the artists are all Indians. Yes, we had the resources.
