Julianne Hough Spends a 'Special Day on the Lake' with Ex-Husband Brooks Laich and His Pregnant Fiancée
In the photo, the Dancing with the Stars co-host points her finger at Davíðsdóttir's belly — a moment that occurred two months after she announced her pregnancy
Hough and Laich were married for nearly three years before splitting in May 2020Julianne Hough has no qualms about spending time with her ex-husband, Brooks Laich, and his pregnant fiancée, Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir.
On July 11, the Dancing with the Stars co-host, 36, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of herself posing with the couple while on a lake.
'Special day on the lake with these three cuties,' she wrote alongside the snapshot, in which she points to Davíðsdóttir's belly.
"Our greatest blessing 🤍🫶🏼✨ Baby Laich coming this fall. Mom & Dad can't wait to meet you, our little one!!!!!!" the pair — who got engaged in December 2024 — shared in their joint Instagram post alongside photos of them posing with sonogram pictures, kissing and showcasing Katrín's growing belly.
Hough showed her support in the comment section, writing, 'Congratulations you two on expanding your family - this baby is already so loved ✨.'
The pregnancy news came five years after Hough and Laich announced their decision to separate in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE in May 2020 following nearly three years of marriage.
Hough officially filed for divorce in November 2020, and the two finalized their divorce in June 2022.
During an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast in September 2024, the professional dancer opened up about attending a wedding where Laich and Davíðsdóttir were also in attendance.
"It was so beautiful. It was so beautiful," she recalled. "And again, like I'm in this place where I now feel like I'm just beginning with so much wisdom, with so much insight, with so much compassion and so much empathy and understanding of like, what's possible, and having the extreme of like, 'Will this ever end?' to 'Oh my gosh, like, I get to, like, literally, design and create the life of my dreams', and know that every decision I'm going to make is going to be from here and that, like, you know, it still doesn't mean it's going to be this perfect life."

The television personality explained that while she doesn't "want a perfect life," she wants a "full, beautiful, connected life."
"You feel joy because you feel sorrow, you feel all these things because you have the spectrum to feel it," she added. "You have the space to feel it, and that, I think, is what we're here to experience, is the fullness of life.'

Adult Disney fans may find their match on the new Single Rider dating app
Single rider rides at Disney could get more interesting thanks to a new dating app aimed at adult Disney fans A new dating app is on the horizon for adults who feel most at home among churros, coasters, and costumed characters. Single Riders aims to bring together theme park enthusiasts—both romantically and platonically—whether their happy place is Disneyland, Universal Studios, or a lesser-known local favorite. Slated for release in late 2025 or early 2026, Single Riders was announced this week by the app's creator, a Disney content creator known as Joe the Bearded Nerd. The concept was born two years ago after Joe was stood up on a date and decided to lift his spirits with a solo trip to Disney World. Somewhere between popcorn carts and parade floats, inspiration struck. Named after the 'single rider' lines that offer faster entry to rides for solo guests, the app will connect users over a shared love of theme parks. While Disney fans will no doubt flock to it, Joe emphasizes that the app won't be limited to the House of Mouse—it will include Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm, King's Island, and other parks across the U.S. 'There's definitely interest,' Joe shared in a follow-up video, 'but we're still early in the process.' This isn't the first effort to unite theme park lovers. A decade ago, debuted with a similar mission and remains online today. But Single Riders is designed to be broader and more inclusive, welcoming fans of all parks and all types of connections. Beta sign-ups will be opening soon. At launch, the app will be U.S.-only and English-language exclusive. It's currently being developed by a two-person team—both of whom are juggling full-time jobs—so progress is steady, if not lightning-fast. Joe says potential investors have already reached out via TikTok, though fundraising decisions are still up in the air. For now, theme park romantics will have to hang tight—but the queue for Single Riders is officially open. This story was originally broken by Fortune. Solve the daily Crossword

Katy Perry nearly plummets from floating butterfly as giant prop malfunctions during her show
First Beyoncé, now Katy Perry. The 'Part of Me' singer was in San Francisco on Friday night performing as part of her Lifetimes Tour, when a giant butterfly prop she was riding malfunctioned as it hung suspended over the crowd. As seen in several video clips shared by audience members on social media, Perry was in the midst of performing her 2013 hit 'Roar' at the Chase Center when the prop – on which Perry was rigged – jerked and dropped suddenly. Perry immediately stopped singing and managed to regain her balance and composure, at first looking up at the contraption that connected the butterfly to cables above. As the prop swung, Perry soon began performing the song again. CNN has reached out to representatives for Perry for comment. The near-mishap is at least the second such incident at a major tour this summer, after a flying car prop feratured in Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour tilted midair during a concert in Houston last month. The singer was quickly lowered down and without injury, according to Beyoncé's entertainment and management company at the time.
