The facility, located in the Harohalli Industrial Area of Karnataka, aligns with the growing trend of global companies choosing India for high-value, export-grade manufacturing and delivery. As part of the collaboration, the center will focus on the assembly and delivery of electronics, terminal automation and process control systems for the global oil and gas industry. The new Center of Manufacturing Excellence represents a foundational step in Utthunga's broader strategic commitment to scale its export business. Over the next five years, Utthunga targets more than Rs. 300 crore in export revenue - an ambitious goal driven by partnerships with global clients including Guidant, as well as Utthunga's expanding portfolio of enterprise customers.

The stock settled at Rs 54.84 apiece, down 0.74 per cent. The stock registered a 52-week-high of Rs 114.79 on September 19, 2024. It recorded 52-week-low of Rs 49.50 on April 7, 2025. According to the BSE analytics (as of July 19), shares of MIC Electronics Ltd gave positive returns of 6.85 per cent and 2.15 per cent in the last 1 week and 2 weeks, respectively. Shares of the smallcap company fell 40.42 per cent in the last 1 year. However, in the past 2 years, 3 years, 5 years and 10 years, shares of the company gained 132.99 per cent, 308.74 per cent, 5542.27 per cent, and 138.47 per cent, respectively. MIC Electronics paid dividends of Re 0.40 in 2008 and 2009. In 2007, the company announced dividend of Rs 2. MIC Electronics never issued bonuses for the equity shareholders.

HDFC Bank Q1FY26 results: Net profit slips 1.31% to Rs 16,258 crore

HDFC Bank on Saturday posted a 1.31 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 16,258 crore for the June 2025 quarter. The lender had reported a net profit of Rs 16,475 crore in the year-ago period. On a standalone basis, the country's largest private sector lender reported a net profit of Rs 18,155 crore for the reporting quarter, up from Rs 16,174 crore a year ago. Its total income jumped to Rs 99,200 crore in the June quarter from Rs 83,701 crore in the year-ago period. The total expenditure stood at Rs 63,467 crore against Rs 59,817 crore in the same period of the preceding fiscal, as per an exchange filing. The net interest margin narrowed to 3.35 per cent from 3.46 per cent in the first quarter of FY25, it said. The overall provisions jumped to Rs 14,442 crore from Rs 2,602 crore in the year-ago period, the bank said, adding that this includes a floating provision of Rs 9,000 crore. The gross non-performing assets ratio inched up to 1.4 per cent as of June 30 from 1.33 per cent three months ago.

French firm CYGR, RRP Defence to launch $50 mn drone plant in Navi Mumbai

RRP Defence on Saturday announced that it has partnered with French firm CYGR to set up a drone manufacturing facility in India at an initial investment of around USD 50 million (around Rs 430 crore). This partnership aims to deliver advanced drone systems designed for tactical, surveillance, and industrial use, leveraging French-American technology and Indian manufacturing capability, the RRP group company said in a statement. The two companies are expected to invest USD 50 million initially in the facility, which will be scaled up to USD 100 million later, RRP Defence Chairman Rajendra Chodankar said. The facility, to be located in Navi Mumbai, will support the production of next-generation drones, including nano drones, ISR drones, and hand-launched fixed-wing drones. The focus would be on defence, homeland security, and industrial drone solutions, it said, adding that the plant would contribute to India's high-skill employment and aerospace exports. "By combining our local manufacturing strength and field understanding with CYGR's world-class drone technologies, we are building systems that meet India's unique operational needs," Chodankar said. "Through this collaboration with RRP Defence Ltd, we are not only transferring technology, but also co-developing future-ready solutions that support India's defence and surveillance landscape," CYGR France Director George El Aily said.
