Kastellorizo is often referred to as the the place on the Turkish coast "where Europe ends and Asia begins" - including by Condé Nast Traveler.
The reason why the Dodecanese island is called this is because of its location very near to the Turkish mainland.
In fact, it's just one mile off the country's coast.
While the island has been part of Greece since 1948, it's proximity to Turkey means it gets a mix of cultures.
The island is very small, you can even walk to each side in just 30 minutes - but there's still lots to see and do.
On the waterfront is lots of restaurants and bars in colourful pink, yellow and blue tavernas.
To eat, there's plenty of dishes with fresh seafood and Mediterranean flavours.
When it comes to drinks, there's plenty on offer including local beer like Mythos, Fix and Alfa.
While tourists take in views across the blue seas, they might spot a turtle too.

The loggerhead sea turtles, also called Caretta caretta, are frequent visitors to the harbour.
These turtles are often seen swimming near the waterfront hoping to get something to eat as they're often fed by locals and tourists.
One of the top-rated restaurants on the island is Alexandra's Restaurant which has 557 reviews and a rating of 4.5 on Tripadvisor.
One visitor wrote: "What's not to love? Great food, great wine, great setting and turtles feeding next to the tables."
Another added: "Definitely the best restaurant in Kastellorizo! The food is delicious the service is polite and fast and the ambience is so romantic - you can also watch the sea turtles. If you order fish you can feed them some too!"
For incredible views, visitors can head to the highest point of the island which is found at the 14th century castle ruins.
Another popular attraction is the Blue Cave, where you can go on boat tours to visit the fluorescent waters.
With a guide, you can take a boat out to the Blue Cave, which glows in the dark as the sunlight bounces off the white sandy seabed.
A boat trip to the Blue Cave on Kastellorizo typically costs around €15 (£13.50) per person.
Many visitors have described it as being a "magical experience."

There are no sandy beaches per se on the island as it's surrounded by rocky coastline.
But, it's still a great place to go swimming, snorkelling or exploring on a boat.
You can't fly directly to Kastellorizo, so for any visitors, the way to get there is to fly to either Athens or Rhodes and take a ferry.
There is an option to fly from Rhodes to Kastellorizo which takes 40 minutes.
Another option is to fly into Antalya in Turkey, drive to Kaş, and then take a short ferry to the island.
It's possible to do Kastellorizo as a day trip, or stay there for longer in a hotel on the island, of which there are around 20.
For another incredible Greek island, this one was named the world's best - and read more from someone who went on holiday to find beach clubs beachside restaurants.
Here's another Greek island with 70 beaches that experts warn you should see before it gets too popular.

He spent most of the 90-minute journey upright before deciding to have a nap, resting his head on his master's lap. Although shocked by his size, other fliers were more surprised by his impeccable politeness. One joked: 'He was better behaved than the children on board. "I'd take him any day.' Another said: 'Apart from all the drooling, he was the perfect plane passenger.' All that at 30,000ft . . . give that mutt a round of ap-paws.

Huge music star rents home in tiny Cotswolds village after falling in love with quaint English life

No one ever asks him for a selfie so he must be loving the fact he's left alone, our village mole revealed SMALL WOLD Huge music star rents home in tiny Cotswolds village after falling in love with quaint English life Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SHAWN Mendes is the latest star to secretly set up camp in the Cotswolds. I can reveal the Canadian singer has fallen in love with the tiny village of Great Tew, with loads of celebrities already living nearby, including Posh and Becks and Simon Cowell. My village mole said: 'We're awash with stars and now Shawn has started hanging out in Great Tew all the time. 'The word on the street is that he's rented a little place here for some peace and quiet before he goes off on his tour. 'No one ever asks him for a selfie so he must be loving the fact he's left alone. 'But when he walks into cafes and pubs in the area, heads do turn. 'Shawn is treated like a normal person too, he doesn't get any special treatment because he's famous. 'The last time he was in the cafe, he got a telling-off because he was ordering his food right before the kitchen closed. They told him to hurry up and order. 'The poor lad. He's the talk of the village.' Luckily for Shawn, his ears must have stopped burning by last night, when he flew to Budapest for the first show of his tour. He will play three more dates in Denmark, Austria and Germany before performing at London's O2 Arena on August 16. Heartbroken Shawn Mendes stops live concert to pay tribute to Liam Payne after his 'completely devastating' death Once the tour's European leg is over, Shawn heads to the United States, with the run of shows finishing at the Hollywood Bowl on October 17. His last album, Shawn, came out in November last year, when he admitted he had worked through some tough times while writing it. Shawn said: 'This album feels like medicine to me. 'It helped me reconnect with myself, allowing me to work through emotions, find clarity and feel stronger.' Well, the next time he needs a break from the world, we know where he'll be heading.

Kids even eat for free at the restaurant ROOM FOR MORE The Bristol hotel with on-site spa that is opposite the historic railway station Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IF you need a base before or after a long train ride in Bristol, the Novotel has you covered. Here is everything you need to know including the family friendly options on offer. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 The Novotel Bristol Centre is great for business travellers Credit: Abaca Press / Darren Lennon Where is the hotel? The Novotel Bristol Centre is one of the closest hotels to Bristol Temple Meads train station, being a few minutes walking distance, so expect mainly business travellers in the week. What is the hotel like? While it isn't a fancy hotel, it ticks all the boxes for a quiet, central stay. What are the rooms like? Rooms range from a two-person king room or a four-person queen room that has a pull-out sofa and cot - an ideal option for families. A full size desk, flat screen TV and minibar stocked with all the essentials are part of the rooms too as well as a Nespresso machine and and kettle. Along with a full shower and bathtub, make the most of the Ritual toiletries in the bathroom before throwing on the cosy bathrobe and slippers. Rooms from £94 a night. What is there to eat or drink there? The on-site restaurant has a huge menu to appease anyone, from pizzas and burgers to pastas and curries. The tofu and cashew salad was a tasty choice for something fresh even if it was on the side of ham croquettes. I wish I'd had space for dessert too, with a delicious-sounding salted caramel brownie. The breakfast spread is impressive, with a great range of cereals and bakery items costing £18, or upgrade to have a full cooked breakfast, costing £23. Leaving for an early train? Ask for a to-go bag from the lobby with pastries and snacks inside. What else is there to do there? The hotel has its own gym and spa, complete with steam room and sauna. They're small but perfect to unwind after a long day. I was lucky enough to have them all to myself on a Sunday evening. But if you want to explore, the main city centre is a short walk or taxi ride away. Is the hotel family friendly? Not only does the hotel offer 50 per cent off for second rooms for families, but kids under 16 get to eat for free at breakfast. Cots and babysitting services can also be requested. Is there access for guests with disabilities? There are six accessible rooms as well as accessible public toilets. Looking for a place to stay? For more hotel inspiration click here.
