Adopt Bella: Super snuggler who loves her playtime

Our Forever Home team didn't have to travel far from the ABC22 and FOX44 studios for this week's newest episode. The reason why? We met up with Queen City Cats at one of their fosterer's homes in the greater Colchester area. That's where we met beautiful Bella, a chonky cat who loves to play and snuggle up on your chest. Let's meet her now! Bella is a 5 year old Queen who is known to be very good around younger kids as long as there is a slow introduction. Bella has a high potential of being the perfect family cat who will be loyal and love your family to the moon and back. She is known to be very playful, but equally as loving. Bella will go from monkeying around with her stringy toys and catnip stuffies to crawling up on your lap and snuggling up to your chin. This girlie pop is like a weighted blanket when she lovingly lays on you. She is a little over 18 pounds and is currently on a weight-loss journey. Bella is very play-motivated cat and that's half the battle when it comes to encouraging her to shed the pounds. Her current foster Mom also puts the litter box downstairs so she can get some cardio during the day and night, or whenever she decides to do her business; what a smart idea for potential adopters! This sweet girl is currently on one medication. She takes it like a champ and takes it daily. Not to mention, the prescription only needs to be filled once a month and it doesn't break the bank. Bella has been with Queen City Cats for about 8 months, and we think now is her time to break free into a new Forever Home. If you would like more information about beautiful, playful, and fun-loving Bella, you can watch her Forever Home episode, here. You can also visit the Queen City Cats website. Let's find Bella her Forever Home today! Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed.

Gorgeous Garland is searching for a home all her own

Happy Forever Home Tuesday, friends! We took a quick trip over to East Montpelier, Vermont for this week's newest Forever Home episode. We met up with Sara from the Central Vermont Humane Society, and that's where she introduced us to a gorgeous gal who has been at the shelter since just before Christmas. Cuddly girl, Garland is more than ready for her Forever Home and endless amounts of snuggles. Garland is a gorgeous 5 year old girl who loves to be right by the side of her humans. She is a very healthy, lean dog who walks really well on a leash. In fact, she has really honed her leash walking skills lately and CVHS wants to make sure that continues through Garland's transition to her new Forever Home. That's why Garland's adoption also comes with a good behavior training to ensure she's on the right track. From personal experience, we think Garland is very well behaved and a fun-loving girl. Garland is the kind of dog that will greet you after a long day at work with some full body wiggles and tail whips just to know how happy she is to see you. Her puppy dog eyes will melt your heart before she curls up next to you with her super soft coat. Garland is a healthy girl and has no dietary restrictions. The reason CVHS thinks she has been at the shelter for so long is because she needs to be the only pet in the house. Otherwise, Garland would make a great first dog for any family. She is such a sweetheart. If you're interested in finding out more about Garland or you're wanting to send in an adoption application before she gets snagged up, then you can head on over to the Central Vermont Humane Society's website. Let's find Garland that home she has been wanting since Christmas morning. Share her story and give her the visibility she needs to land in a fantastic, loving, new Forever Home.
