MNCF Open To Supporting Azizulhasni With Equipment
Its president, Datuk Amarjit Singh, said the federation has no issue providing the necessary equipment needed by Azizulhasni, who has just turned professional.
'If Datuk Azizul wants to use the bicycle, that is not going to be much of a problem. He also has his own bicycle, but if he wishes to use one provided by MNCF, we have no objection.

'We are willing to ensure that he will be given the relevant equipment and resources to help him train for the championships he wants to compete in,' he told reporters at the MNCF Hari Raya Open House yesterday.
Amarjit assures The Pocket Rocketman that the federation would continue to support his participation in international events.
Last Saturday, Azizulhasni announced his decision to turn professional and continue racing for the next two years under Team Azizul, following a RM200,000 individual grant awarded by the National Sports Council (NSC) until 2026.
Among the Key Performance Indicators set by the NSC for the 37-year-old are preparations for the 2026 Asian Games and the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Following his decision, Azizulhasni said he still has his own selection of bicycles, but the best one for him remains the WX-R Vortex, which he used at the Paris Olympics last year.
However, he said it would be up to the NSC and MNCF to decide whether to allow him to use that bicycle for training and competitions, given his new status as a professional.

She earned the award after winning four titles, namely the US Women's Open, Tour Championship, Journal Rockford Open and Greater Nashville Classic. Both athletes took home medals and a cash incentive of RM7,000. Beach volleyball athlete Low Jeng Yih and swimmer Joelle Chang Zu-Ee were also named Promising Sportsman of the Year and Promising Sportswoman of the Year respectively, while two cyclists Mohamad Yusof Hafizi Shaharuddin and Nur Suraya Muhammad Zamri were named the Best Male and Best Female Athletes.

Izzat, Li Jane named Perak Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year
IPOH: National lawn bowler Izzat Shameer Dzulkeple and tenpin bowler Sin Li Jane were named Perak Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year for 2023/2024. Each received a trophy and RM7,000 in cash, presented by the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, during the Perak Sports Awards ceremony held at Hotel Casuarina, Meru. The Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim, also graced the occasion. Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad and the State Education, Higher Education, Youth and Sports Committee chairman Khairudin Abu Hanipah. In 2023, Izzat Shameer, 33, was ranked the world's No.1 male lawn bowler according to the World Bowls Series rankings, following his gold medal victory in the men's singles event at the Asian Lawn Bowls Championship. Meanwhile, Li Jane became the first Asian to win the Professional Women's Bowling Association (PWBA) Tour Player of the Year title, joining an elite group of past winners that includes legends Lisa Wagner and Wendy Macpherson. Owner offered to sell Kelantan FC for RM300,000 amid confusion
KUALA LUMPUR: Kelantan FC owner Norizam Tukiman revealed that he had offered to sell his team to Gerakan Selamatkan Kelantan (GSK), led by Nik Hafiz Naim Nik Hassan, for RM300,000. However, Norizam said that the offer, which included a "large discount," did not receive a response from GSK. "I gave them options for free and for sale, but GSK didn't accept, instead wanting to buy and 'control' TRW Kelantan FC completely. "Discussions started from RM3 million, and eventually, I agreed to sell the majority stake for RM300,000, but in the end, there was no answer from Nik Hafiz. "I also contacted Nik Hafiz regarding this payment, but then suddenly, there was silence," Norizam said in a post on his Facebook page. Norizam claimed that Nik Hafiz decided to establish Kelantan Red Warriors (KRW) after negotiations to purchase shares in Kelantan FC fell through. "Instead, Nik Hafiz directly met with the Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) and the Amateur Football League (AFL) and established KRW. "I see KRW wanting to become TRW, using the name Kelantan Red Warriors along with the logo that is officially owned by TRW. "Today, people are confused that there's another TRW from Kelantan Darul Naim. To me, this confusion wouldn't be an issue if the AFL and the FA of Malaysia drafted a specific law about names," said Norizam.
